Check out these videos:

Castlevania
This is a tool assisted speed run just to show how fast it might be possible to complete the game. It was played in slow motion using save states to redo certian parts if the player made a mistake.

Castlevania: Dracula X
This is a tool assisted speed run just to show how fast it might be possible to complete the game. It was played in slow motion using save states to redo certian parts if the player made a mistake. Do not mistake this game for Demon Castle Dracula X: Rondo of Blood. While there are some similarities, these are not the same. This is still a very good Castlevania game for the SNES though.

Demon Castle Dracula X: Rondo of Blood
This game is legendary! It was never released outside of japan but many fans will tell you that it was the best game that the Castlevania series ever produced. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was the direct sequel to this game. If you want to see what all the fuss is about check out these videos of the entire game and jam out to the awesome soundtrack while you watch! 3nodding

Was it Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? The two that came out on PS1 were Symphony of the Night and Castlevania Chronicles which was a port of a previously unreleased game. I have them both but I never really finished Chronicles. Symphony of the Night is my absolute favorite Castlevania game though. I would say it's easily one of my top five favorite games of all time. Not only is the game map huge and full of areas to explore but every enemy in the game has special item that you can get. Some of the coolest weapons in the game come from fallen enemies. Of course you have to be really lucky to get them because there is only a small chance that the enemy will drop a rare item. I probably spent hours just killing the same guys over and over to collect a certain weapon. Even with the luck code you still have to be pretty persistant. 3nodding

Symphony of the Night is THE Castlevania game. Even non-fans of the series should play it.

A Castlevania game in the works for PSP!

This sounds like a good one too. Unfortunately it won't be an entirely new game but it packs in two games that are so good we shouldn't really care!

What would those be you ask? None other than the previously unreleased Dracula X: Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night! OH EM GEE! whee

The game will be called Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles and it will feature the original Dracula X: Rondo of Blood as well as an "updated" version. Sweet!

Not until now have I even had the slightest urge to buy a PSP.
Damn you Konami, why must you tempt me so?! xp
