Titles are given to wolves following achievements that they might have obtained ICly. For all intents and purposes, they are generally just for IC flavor and don't mean much as far as other pack mechanics go. OOCly, titles are obtained during events, when leveling-up to certain levels, or they might be given by the alpha (/pack owner) following a character's storyline. ICly, titles are generally coupled with a signifying scarification

[oo Ded]

Stats are utilized in various IC events, the most notable being duels. They can be gained through IC events and though the pack leveling system. The different Stats and their purpose are as follows.

*It should be noted that pack statistics are used for purposes within the pack and, at the time, are not applicable to interactions with rogues and other packs unless otherwise noted.


Strength (STR)

• A measure of a wolf's raw strength. Wolves with a high STR have strong attacks. This stat is most notably used in duels when a character is attacking.


Defense (DEF)

• A measure of a wolf's defense in response to attacks. Wolves with a high DEF are able to withstand attacks, whether it be from blocking or from evading. This stat is most notably used in duels when a character is being attacked.


Stamina (STA)

• A measure of a wolf's stamina. Wolves with a high STA are able to endure physical tasks for longer. This stat is most notably used in duels as a sort of HP measurement, but can also be seen other physical contests.


Speed (SPE)

• A measure of a wolf's raw speed. Wolves with a high SPE are quick on their feet. This stat is most notable used in duels to determine who attacks first, but is also seen on other physical contests.


Perception (PER)

• A measure of a wolf's ability to perceive what is going on around them. Wolves with a high PER are attuned to their senses. While this stat isn't seen in duels, it can be used in other IC contests and events that involve activities such as hunting or scouting.


Wisdom (WIS)

• A measure of a wolf's mental capabilities. Wolves with a high WIS are mentally strong in various fields. While this stat isn't seen in duels, it can be used in various contest and events that revolve around other pack professions.
  
  
  Gaining Stats
  
• All wolves that join the pack ICly as adults start with a base 10 in all stats.
  
• Wolves that are born in the pack start with a base 10 in all stats when they reach adulthood, plus bonus points that the player may choose to allocate how they wish with the IC implication that the youth was an apprentice under a specific profession. This bonus is increased if the apprenticeship was RPd at any point. A pup may apprentice in up to three apprenticeships via RPs, though one will be a 'primary' apprenticeship and the other two will be 'secondary' apprenticeships. The bonuses are as follows:
  
  • One bonus point is awarded to all pups as they age up and are posted with any apprenticeship, whether or not they are RPd. This bonus point may be applied to any stat. This also applies to adult wolves that were ICly born into the pack, but OOCly joined as adults.
    
  • If a youth posts a RP in which they apprentice as a warrior, they gain an additional one point each for STR, DEF, and STA if this is a primary apprenticeship, or one point for STR if this is a secondary apprenticeship.
    
  • If a youth posts a RP in which they apprentice as a healer, they gain an additional one point each for SPE, PER, and WIS if this is a primary apprenticeship, or one point for PER if this is a secondary apprenticeship.
    
  • If a youth posts a RP in which they apprentice as a caretaker, they gain an additional one point each for STA, PER, and WIS if this is a primary apprenticeship, or one point for STA if this is a secondary apprenticeship.
    
  • If a youth posts a RP in which they apprentice as a historian, they gain an additional one point for PER and two points for WIS if this is a primary apprenticeship, or one point for WIS if this is a secondary apprenticeship.
    
  • Due to the aging timeline in Kells, an apprenticeship RP can be backlogged. You have THREE MONTHS from the receiving of a pup to RP an apprenticeship, with the RP being backlogged to the wolf's youth.

Brief history/personality: Desert Sand is a soft spoken and quiet wolf. He is much more reserved around others, other than his brother, but he’s always willing to lend a healing paw. He will try to solve problems verbally instead of fighting, unlike his brother. Desert Sand is always there to patch up his twin after a fight. He is a little more open minded that there is a gentler way to return spirits back to the earth, and magic-touched without killing them.

Rank: Caretaker; Elder would probably be suitable but he'd blanch at the suggestion.
Brief history/personality: Vanish is a traditionalist; comfortable in an older mindset and worried for the future of the pack as increasingly more zealous wolves find power and rank. He feels that much of their fire is righteous, but lost, appropriated and misdirected; nature left buried and a new god of conflict risen in it's place. He's hunted his fair share of spirits, particularly in his youth, and is therefore likely to not criticize his packmates too harshly, merely offer what he hopes will be respectfully heeded. He's retired from spirit hunting, old injury and age doing what they do, and would prefer now to see to future generations. He'd always had a soft spot for pups although never settled long enough to form a family in his youth. Instead he's making up for that now, passing along what he knows and the reverence for nature the pack is founded upon.
