There has been plenty to be grateful for, and while Praise Giving is not upon them yet (November is soon!), Big Bad has for quite some time wished to address the bounty they've been provided. Before his rule was a time of great lacking. Now, while the pack still regrows in size, they've been blessed with enough food that it's become a problem. Soon, much of it will rot and they'll need to restock for the upcoming bitter cold. While it was necessary to have so much prior, thanks to teenage wolves running around the pack like ants, it's time to rid of what they can before it goes bad. If you ask any Crow what they fear the most, they'll mention the plague that wiped The Crows out prior.

      They wouldn't risk that again!

So, while food has been preserved for quite some time thanks to some clever ideas to dig deep into the earth and store food against the cold soil, it's reaching time. Big Bad has always been one for celebration, and thus he's thrown his first party; the first of any Crow party in generations.

He's invited Sand Raiders and Iron Hide members to attend the party. All he asks is every member brings something aside from food. Decoration, a present, something warm to line the guest dens the night; anything! The party, in character, will last a week -- something unheard of but not unusual for someone who loves throwing out new ideas like Big Bad. Sleepovers are welcomed and highly encouraged.

The party will consist of; eating (and lots of it!), celebrating the new puppies that have been coming into all three packs lives, telling of stories, and general merriment. This is the time to truly enjoy what the earth has given them and how blessed they've been to have new pups, wonderful allies, and general good health.

To join the ORP, all you must do is have your wolf arrive with something as an offering! Even Crows are expected to grab something, although it should be to help build the party. Puppies are exempt from this request, as they're little ones. You may enter as many Crows, Sand Raiders, or Iron Hides as you wish!

The ORP will close November 15th,. Any Crow who plays and types 500 words at least will receive 1 point towards Head role acquirement.

Big Bad paced the pack lands, clearly preoccupied. The party was set up and he had settled on greeting anyone who joined the festivities. His Crows had been sent to retrieve decorations, bedding, and more. Anything that helped the guests, really. Perhaps that was what was keeping his cool as he tried to avoid the topic everyone seemed to want to bring up; his new children.

It wasn't that he didn't love them; he did! It was a new and budding love, and one he had been afraid wouldn't develop, but it was there. It was just... upsetting, in a way. He had created new lives solely to find an Heir, like his father had done, and it felt slimy. His father had deeply wounded him for the reasoning of his own birth; why had he done the same?

Because it was for the good of the pack.

He lacked a Beta and a Heir. Sure, he would have gladly selected Wood Cutter, but he knew the packs traditions would never stand for it. He had already changed so much about the pack -- it couldn't survive such a massive change in this generation. He couldn't do that. So he had to do what he disliked the most; repeating his fathers actions.

And while he loved them and looked down on the pups with fondness, one thing was painfully clear; they were both girls. Not Heir eligible. Which meant he had to do this again, someday, and soon. How many times would he have to? How many kids would he have and drag into this world before he was done? It felt wrong, giving life for such a selfish reason, and he was struggling.

So the party was a very welcomed event. Something fun and exciting to help ease his mind. He paced once again, ears lifted and tail wagging like an excited dog. It was time! Perhaps he'd see Night Fell, too?

Forbidden Oath carefully step over a rock as she snatched up a pretty bundle of flowers she had found. For how cold it was becoming it was rare to find such beauties -- most of the flowers have long died. Behind her Red Riding Hood carried moss and leaves, ears pinned back. They made their way back to the pack grounds, gifts in tow, as silently as they had left.

Silky was preoccupied with frantically working on small stone bracelets alongside her new raccoon friend. This would be her gift to those who attended, but she wasn't quite done yet!

Calico meanwhile was rubbing herbs into meat, careful not to over season for the occasion. Not many packs had a cook, after all, and he wasn't quite sure what everyone's limitations were. His tail gently swung behind him as he diligently worked, glancing up here and there only to check on Silky.

Bliss settled neatly beside Big Bad, intent on welcoming any visitors herself, as well. Sure, Big Bad didn't need the help, especially with such a loud voice as his, but did that stop her? No, it never did.

blood falcon (sand raider: den mother) - with big bad

"Oh, don't you look so handsome!" Blood Falcon had crooned before they left for the party. She had spent what seemed like a full hour washing his coat with her tongue until it was just right (which she had done for all of her children, no favoritism for hygiene there), and then even more time catching up with him and the rest of the family as she did so. She had been given permission by Night Fell to leave ahead of the pack to prepare with her family there, and River Hawk had been invited to join her for the trip if she liked. And she had brought more than just the customary party gift with her.

Blackwater had recently won the sparring competition between the Crows and the Iron Hides, she'd heard, so how could she not present him with a prize for his hard work? She had taken it from the Sand Raider stores with permission from the alpha; thank the gods Night Fell let her basically do whatever she wanted. The pendant hung around his neck, gleaming in the sunlight, and she nuzzled him aggressively as she was wont to do, her heart bursting with pride and love. He looked sheepish at the attention, and it made her laugh.

"If you think I'm bad, sweetheart, wait until we see everyone else~ Now, go get your offering, and I'll herd the rest of us."

The family reached the celebration as a unit. While Blackwater trailed behind in growing anxiety, their mother was happy to take the lead with a flagged tail, chattering pleasantly with Bliss and Big Bad as they entered, giving to them a fresh limb of cactus, recently de-thorned by one of the Raiders' raccoons and ready to be cracked open for its juice. "Why hellooooooo~!" she greeted. "Let's scoot so the children can give their gifts...There we go, thank you, my dears! And speaking of children. I hear congratulations are in order," she told Big Bad with a wide grin.

What Is Generally Known About Blood Falcon (for ur rp flavor purposes)
  • Despite her ominous name, she's an incredibly loving mom to whoever she meets. Whoever. Great with kids!
  • Somehow has managed to wrap Night Fell around her paw due to this; acts like his mom openly around pack members
  • Mated pair with Ripples in the Azure Sea (Crow assassin); 99% chance you have heard her gush about their kids multiple times
  • Has a weird adoration of dangerous things, such as venomous snakes and scorpions; p knowledgeable about them too
  • Sister is Mudsullied Jackal, the Crows' current Head Healer; they act nothing alike, look nothing alike, and have an odd relationship. BF still loves her tho

blackwater raptor (crow: gatherer) - available for interaction!

Blackwater was extra nervous today. The hype from his spar win had long since faded away, and now he was back to being a less notable gatherer. (Or so he hoped.) With winter coming, that job was starting to grow harder, though there were hardier plants still about for the healers and cook at least. His search for a party favor had taken him a while, but he hoped it would suffice.

He also hoped he didn't have to stay long, lest he embarrass himself or his family by association.

In a small satchel he had borrowed from Aunt Sully, Blackwater carried a few things. His celebration-specific offering were extra herbs for the food that he thought Calico might appreciate: namely a bundle of thyme. The smell was nice, he thought, and the flavor it could bring might be a hit? Or maybe Calico would toss it out, h-he wasn't sure...Beyond that were a few flowers he had given to his siblings as a sort of family reunion gift, which they were welcome to wear to the party or also just sort of forget if they didn't like them.

(She loved it, his mom was happy to assure, but still.)

There were still a few stray flowers left in his satchel since they had been allowed to pick from a selection, and Blackwater wasn't sure what he was going to do with them. Should he give them out at the party? The flowers might be a bit rumpled now...Or wilted...Or smell bad...The satchel itself had an earthy musk some wolves might not appreciate. Ohhhhh, why was he worrying about this now...

After presenting himself to the alpha and Bliss and proffering his thyme to the cook, Blackwater quickly ducked away to find a corner of the party to cool down for a bit. More wolves were starting to arrive, and he wasn't sure where to position himself or what to do at all. Should he be helping? How could he be helping? Maybe he could watch for pups... He knew some like his mom probably would still do that, but maybe Blackwater could alleviate the job so others could enjoy themselves?

Just so long as he didn't incite a headache...

Quote:
What Is Generally Known About Blackwater Falcon (for ur rp flavor purposes)
  • Seer-blooded headaches/nightmares were severe as a pup which may have led to the belief that he might not do much; they're still bad but not as much as before
  • Episodes of insomnia make him have eye bags
  • He's frequently seen at the healers as his aunt gives him an herbal mixture to help w/said headaches; this may also make him smell weird occasionally
  • Incredibly shy, of few words, but intelligent and a fast learner; something of a flower boy in reputation now
  • Won the last Crows v Iron Hides tournament, somehow, despite said reputation

Breath of the Wild | The Crows | Guard

Breath of the Wild, a new guard of the hosting pack, approached slowly, tufts from a rabbit's tail held tightly between his teeth. He had heard that the visitors could use warmth for their dens, and decided end of the bunny from a recent kill while on duty would do well for the job. He was generally slow at approaching the pack center, half typical awkward, half awkward by way of being a newcomer. He was distracted, however, when he caught sight by a pretty white and brown wolf settled in next to the alpha. His brows raised, eyes widening by default, before deciding to attempt approaching her.

Meandering over, Breath fell in line behind a sandy female wolf with striking wing-styled dye and what appeared to be her pups. Neither him nor his sister, Breath of the Wild, had dye, and coming from a rogue family that didn't really acquaint themselves much with other wolves, he didn't quite understand it. Even with the wounded ego he held from his recent duel loss, he could feel his chest jutting out, shoulders sitting back as he approached the slight female wolf.

When it was his turn, he wasn't sure how to introduce himself, so he dipped his head down, almost in reverence, and dropped the fluff. Bringing his head back up, he smiled - only half of his mouth got the message - and addressed her: "Hi, uh... I'm Breath. Of the Wild. But you can just call me Breath?" He was awkward, yes, but he was nervous, and that absolutely drove every syllable coming out of his mouth. He nearly winced at the sound of his own voice, but stood still, hoping she didn't notice how terrible he sounded.

Snake Bite | The Crows | Gossip {publicly seen as a Scout} {open for interaction!}

Pawing his way forward, Snake Bite smiled genuinely as he approached Bliss and Big Bag. He held a small bouquet of flowers, brighter than anything else in the Redwoods, as a donation to the Celebration of Life. It was a bright and brilliant part of the year, where puppies roamed about, not so subtly reminding Snake Bite that he maybe, should, eventually consider actually procreating. Instead, he enjoyed flirtation, winding his way through relationships like a chameleon of dating. It was a way of life, for him. Puppies never really fell into the picture.

He approached the pair of wolves that appeared at the helm of the opening day of the event, dipping his head with respect as he passed the two of them and presented the flowers he'd found. Out on one of his faux scouting trips he'd found them and decided they would be the perfect decoration for the event. After passing Big Bad - gods, was he gorgeous - Snake Bite headed to an isolated part of the gathering. If someone wanted to chat with him, they would approach him, surely. Otherwise, he was going to observe, waiting for something to jump out at him and surge him into interaction.

shadelight (crow: assassin) - with Calico

Shadelight's mask as a serial flirt reveled in the celebrations, their first major one in a long time. Numbers were up, allies were had, and beautiful ladies would be in every corner. Not taking advantage of that would be a crime, of course. He had done his due diligence as a dad -- that is, he took a quick glance at High Noon and the Deads to make sure they were actually alive and such -- and then it was on to help dig out the stored meals. His contribution had been to help take down a rather ornery boar and strip its hide off to add to the furs, and he was looking forward to chewing the fat and flapping his lip while surrounded by warm bodies.

Party time.

Surprisingly, Shadelight let his stomach lead him instead of a different organ towards Calico and his helpers, his nostrils flaring as he took in the smell of the food being prepped. But it wasn't the only thing he noticed about the wolf. (Maybe both organs were at work after all.)

"Hey," he greeted the cook casually, his mouth tugged to one side. "Smells really good, Calico. Need any help? I see we have something very delicious on the menu today, though she'll need some coaxing over. You might need my particular set of skills."

Quote:
What Is Generally Known About Shadelight (for ur rp flavor purposes)
  • Oldblood; parents died in the plague, took up assassin rank in their honor
  • Used to have a crow he was v close with named Shadows Take Flight, but she was murdered due to their own investigation into the plague; he hasn't taken up another bird partner since
  • Known as a charming if somewhat shallow flirt; has an ease and strut about him as if nothing could ever ruffle his feathers
  • Very serious about his duty, however, tho you might not know it from his flippant tone
  • Distrusts outsiders despite the pack's need; still managed a litter recently in spite of that, but isn't often seen around them; it's an open secret that he doesn't seem to care much beyond the basics, especially since he hasn't stopped flirting w/other ladies since their arrival
  • Occasionally looks like he's going through the motions

dead reckoning (crow: pupper) - available for interaction!

Pups weren't required to bring anything to the gathering, but that wouldn't do at all. This was Dead Reckoning's first step towards making herself known to the others: not as a puppy, but as an up and coming seer that wolves would die to know and grow close to. (Or so they thought.) An adult, and a capable and smart and pretty one at that. Oh yes, Dead Reckoning would bring a present as well as her presence.

Some days prior during a morning meal, she had taken for herself the skull of an opossum and, over the course of the rest of the week, had cleaned and washed it like a precious toy. Some haggling with a raccoon and a task later, she now had a tiny jewel pressed between its eyes and a thin cord of leather with beads from which it hung around her neck, strung in its jaws like it had choked on it. At her size, it was a little uncomfortably close to her throat, but such was the price for making a fashion statement.

She'd give it over to the pack after wearing it. Maybe. Dead Reckoning supplemented this possible change of heart by providing a few tufts of fur from her father's kills that she had torn off. Nobody had to know that this had been done in retaliation against him rather than as a search for a suitable gift.

Head held high, the pup strutted into the party like she was the center of it. And shouldn't she be at some point? She was a brand new seer, she was special, and they should all respect her for it. But Dead Reckoning would be gracious and allow them their time to mingle with one another. She eyed Red Riding Hood and the den mother just to be sure she could locate her at some point but didn't approach just yet. She wanted to take in the growing masses and see who was coming. That, and she waited to see if either of her brothers would be so kind as to accompany her.

(She already knew neither Shadelight nor High Noon would give a damn.)

Quote:
What Is Generally Known About Dead Reckoning (for ur rp flavor purposes)
  • Something of a seer elitist; preferable treatment to seers, then seer blooded, and then the normies
  • Non-seers would see her as a pup that knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say it; can come across as a bit of a b***h/commanding
  • Crafty and cunning, likes to gather information either by her own efforts or through her brothers; keeps things close to the vest but projects the aura of a queen
  • Morbid fascination with death and its many forms
  • Incredibly independent; is already well aware her parents suck and dislikes being coddled (unless she's asking for the attention)

Deadlight | Crows Pupper | Open for Interactions!

Where others may have been happy about the party to be, Deadlight wasn't sure how he was supposed to feel. There was a small sense of excitement at getting to meet some of the others form their allied packs. But that same excitement was at war with his instinct to guard and protect. Especially his sister. Dead Reckoning. She would be exposed. Out in the open with all kinds of potential threats from wolves he hadn't had the chance to meet and observe. It had his little hackles raised up and a stoic expression frozen on his features.

For someone so small and so young, he had way too much weighing down his mind.

Alas, Deadlight had crept along the outskirts of the beginnings of the party, watching his pack get things set up. Observing what all was being done. And when new faces began to arrive, striking green eyes would stare, almost uncomfortably, until he determined they were not a threat.

Now, though, with so many others being around and, Deadlight felt a small sense of wonder and curiosity. His ears were alert and his tail was wagging a little as he sniffed new wolves. For the moment, he felt a sense of calm. It allowed him to take in everything. Well, everything that was at the eye level of a wee pup. But puppies were good at listening in to conversations unobtrusively...

He also wondered where his twin and sister might be? Perhaps he ought to go and find them.

Night Fell | Sand Raider's Alpha | Open for Interactions!

He had been waiting for this. Oh very much so! A chance to bring not only his black and white marbled butt out of the desert, but those of his pack. It was time to have a little vacation from the desert lands. And by the Sun Gods, they needed it! His motley bunch of raiders. They had endured a lot since following him out into that wasteland. Singed paws, ungrateful heat, constant sand in your fur. But none of them had been willing to leave it. Which spoke volumes. He was so proud of his Raiders.

Which was why they deserved the opportunity to get out of the desert.

Leave it to Big Bad to decide to throw a party.

"Alright y'mutts! You all know the rules. Break any of ours or the Crows' and g'luck, mates. You're stuck facing Big Bad!" Of course he laughed at this, so whether he was being serious or not had been unknown. But he figured his crew knew him well enough by now. And those who were still getting their paws used to the Sand Raider's, well. They would learn fast. And so, he'd had the tough task of deciding who would go and who would stay. Because, while they were still establishing a permanent place to call home, Night Fell would not leave their Heart unprotected.

He was also, for all his faults, a fair alpha. Those that had volunteered to stay were to get the biggest bounty from their next raid as payment for missing the celebration. Night Fell himself promised to lead that raid himself.

"Are you really just gonna waltz in there, no care for being fashionably late?" Soul Thief inquired, sprawled out on his brother's back while they made their way through the redwood. Fell knew his pack had already begun to arrive.

"I am not being 'fashionably late'. I am arriving right on time!" He retorted with a grin.

"Riiiight. Your funeral. Don't forget to prepare your speech about those pups of yours~" With a small whack to the wolf's head, the raccoon leaped to the trees, scrambling up their limbs and disappearing with a cackle.

Which was probably a safer thing for Thief.

He also had a good point. He'd have to be ready to face those questions about fathering pups. Which was why the alpha had decided on the leisurely path to the Crows pack.

With a chuckle at the raccoon, Night Fell entered the Crows territory, following the scents of good food, friends, and the sounds of a good time. He moved swiftly and quietly, single blue eye bright with his excitement to see his friends. He had been visiting Snow Rabbit recently, but had yet to visit Big Bad. It was time to remedy this! Also, he should probably check in on his favorite niece... Red Riding Hood.

Like the terrible wolf he could be, Night Fell just sort of... slunk his way right in to the midst of things, like he'd totally been there the whole time.

Quote:
Fun Facts from the Desert

  • Night Fell expects all visiting Raider's to behave and not embarrass themselves or they will answer to Big Bad (good luck, you lot!).
  • Some Raider's were left behind, but your Alpha will compensate them for this choice after the return to the desert.
  • While Sand Raider's are not an officially established pack, it is presumed that the lot of them have been scouting out the desert and have a few locations in mind that would work as pack territory. For now, they are a little nomadic in their ways.
  • Night Fell encourages his packmates to have fun and enjoy this time out of the desert heat and getting to know your allies.

Big Bad | The Crows Alpha | Harassing Night Fell [Open for Interactions]

Big Bad had expected Blood Falcon to come, especially when news of her sons win had been sent via bird to her location. He was proven right when he spotted the tan wolf, accepting her gift with a curious glint in his eyes. It wasn't often he had a chance to visit the Sand Raiders, and during those trips he hadn't quite experienced cactus. Not in a fun way, at least. He made a mental note to later scope it out, passing it to Bliss so she could set it in the gift pile.

His own maw was formed in a large grin. He couldn't help it, really -- he was a social kind of guy. An ear twitched as Blood Falcon brought up the pups, mentally cursing. Of course she would, she loved puppies. That, and an Alpha having children was news. He responded without missing a beat, biting back the guilt that seeped into his chest. Children really shouldn't be something he was upset about... right?

"Ah yes, the little tykes! Strong ones, they are," he barked, glancing instinctively towards the birthing dens. Speaking of them, he was certain they'd wake sooner or later and crawl out. He returned his glance to Blood Falcon, tail whapping against the ground. He always had enjoyed their brief talks.

"They're not the only little ones, either. I'm sure you'll find your way to the others when they're awake. Seems the pack is overrun!" A boisterous laugh left the massive Alpha to accentuate his words. He was proud, really, of his pack and the families growing within.

And then Big Bad saw him.

Night Fell.

He snapped his head around, ears perked. He hadn't seen the brat for too long, and he just waltzed by? Big Bad wouldn't stand for this. He turned to Blood Falcon, dipping his head. "Excuse me, yeah?"

And then he ran.

He tackled Night Fell, although he got off reasonably quick and instead bounced paw to paw. "Not even a hello?! You wound me! I've been waitin' for ages!"

Quote:
    Known Information About Big Bad:
  • Massive for his breed. Absolute unit of muscle and size.
  • Big giant oaf to his pack and allies. Absolute maniac in battle and a force to be reckoned with.
  • Adopted Wood Cutter and Red Riding Hood, and recently bred with Bloodstone and had two daughters; Pale Void and Abyss. They're puppies at the moment.
  • Incredibly close with Night Fell (Sand Raiders Alpha) and Snow Rabbit (Iron Hides Alpha).
  • First Alpha in two generations to improve the pack. Working hard to be better than his father, who is known for ruining the pack.

Bliss | The Crows Entertainer | Greeting at Entrance [Open for Interactions/Talking to Breath of the Wild]

Bliss watched her Alpha greet the newest visitors, chirping out pleasant greetings when she could. Her tail wagged in delight with the encounters, ears perked and face uplifted. She blinked as Big Bad suddenly bolted off, although she noted who he was running to. Ah, yes, of course! He hadn't seen his best friend in quite some time. When she turned her head back she was greeted by a new wolf, one of her ears flicking in surprise.

Oh, it was that boy.

It would be a lie to say she hadn't noticed Breath of the Wild before. He was insanely attractive and it was honestly frustrating. Bliss was used to being the one wanted, and yet she had, for some time, watched him with interest. She had never approached the Guard prior, mostly due to how new he was and wishing to let him settle, but there he was -- in front of her, and looking mighty fine.

"Oh, yes, I've seen you before," she giggled, a soft and playful sound. Her head tilted gently, tail wagging pleasantly. "I'm Bliss, but you can call me anything you'd like," she practically purred, glancing down at his gift before gently lifting it to set aside the other gifts. She glanced behind him, noting he was, for now, the only one to put her attention on.

Good!

"You're new, aren't you? How are you liking it so far?"

Quote:
    Known Information About Bliss:
  • Average height and very naturally lean.
  • Is a dancer!
  • Left a pack and was essentially rescued by The Crows.
  • Known for being a flirt, however shows restraint and does not accept others advances. She may flirt a lot, but she's looking for Mr. Right.

Calico | The Crows Cook | Working on Flavoring Food [Open for Interactions/Talking to Shadelight]

Calico had been preoccupied with flavoring the food for the festivities. Herbs, berries, and other assortments could be found surrounding him. Deep down he wished he had a raccoon to help light a fire so he could actually cook the food, but one day. Right now this itself would be delicious in its own right.

Blackwater Raptor approached and provided an herb he had been painfully lacking in; thyme. His ears perked and he thanked the wolf considerably, tail wagging. Wonderful! Thyme was perfect for his plans. When the wolf left he was one again alone with the food, his thoughts, and a perfect sight of Silky working neatly on something nearby.

Oh, how seeing her hurt these days.

He probably would have enjoyed brooding for quite some time if Shadelight hadn't swept up to his side. His head tilted to the side as Shadelight proceeded to offer help and then say perhaps one of the most confusing sentences he had ever heard. "She? Who?" he repeated, although he gratefully stepped to the side.

"Help would be nice. I have this herb mixture right here," he poked at the ground beside him where a lump of herbs sat. "I need that mixed into the meat next to me. About two pawfuls worth on each."

Quote:
    Known Information About Calico:
  • Average height and slightly pudgy.
  • Is the current only cook. Wants a raccoon to try using fire at some point.
  • Taught Silky 'sign language' and helps translate for her often. Most wolves can probably tell he has a crush on her but it's not being returned / he's not willing to tell her.
  • Incredibly sweet and always eager to help anyone in the pack.

Snow Rabbit | Alpha of Iron Hides | Harassing Night Fell and Big Bad (Open to Interactions!)

Snow Rabbit moved through from the Iron Hides area, followed by a few of the Iron Hides including Chase and his son who had broken off after he dropped off a large bear pelt and Chase's items to Bliss. As he shifted and moved, he went about his way to seek out Big Bad. As he caught scent of Night Fell he moved towards Night Fell, certain that if he was to find the Raider Alpha, he'd find the Crow Alpha near by. It wasn't too soon before he felt the body of Night Fell skid before him after getting tackled into the atmosphere by Big Bad.

He stopped in his step and put down his paw, his towering form almost looking like it was looking down at Night Fell at his paws. His jaw painted with new streaks of red and his shoulder glistening with a dye that wasn't there previously. It was obvious his pack had, had its way with the Alpha. His face shifting up to hearing the paws of Big Bad shuffling. "Hm.. I guess Night Fell chose a new favourite." Snow Rabbit let his maw slide into a smooth smile. "He has been in my territory for a good couple of days now." He got along with both equally, but he knew of certain deeper feelings both of the Alphas before him felt for the other. It was rare he'd pick on either of them.

Rules for Iron Hides

  • Crows and Iron Hides often work together, so it is in any Hide to not screw up. Snow Rabbit hopes for all to be on their best behaviour. Even towards the Raiders who are often also needing the Mercenaries for work.
  • Iron Hides aren't made to come, so no need to worry if you wish to keep them away for any reason.
  • Iron Hides are encouraged to enjoy being surrounded by their allies. Also, don't be afraid to woo any ;>. Just be nice about it.

Some Information about Snow Rabbit!

  • Snow Rabbit is a rather young Alpha, he's at least 2 years old if not almost 3. He was recently given Alpha after the previous one (Iron) passed away.
  • He's pretty levelheaded and kind.
  • He's huge, potentially the same size as Big Bad. He has more fur bulk to him as well. Snow Rabbit is known to use his body in fights as a meat shield. Not even joking.
  • Rabbit comes from another area, not well viewed by Kells wolves. Due to this he has a thick accent that has been worked on since coming to these lands.
  • He's blind, and can not see.. But he's very attuned with his surroundings and it's rare to catch him off guard. Red Riding Hood has a conspiracy that Snow Rabbit isn't blind. All his nerve can pick up are very bright lights or sparkles of things.
  • Recently bred with Sycamore and produced two sons and a daughter; Burning Oak, Grim Omen and Midnight Cat.

--

Chase | Huntress of Iron Hides/Adoptive Mother of Snow Rabbit | Going to join Forbidden Oath, Always Open for Interactions ♥
After dropping off the items she and Snow Rabbit were donating, which from Chase was a bunch of antlers for pups to gnaw on to work their teeth and little beads and such she'd gotten from her hard work. She moved quietly away from the rough of the party to settle with Forbidden Oath and Red Riding Hood. Smiling at both and giving each fellow red-marked wolfess a soft nuzzle to the scruff. She had Burning Oak follow behind her, as he wished to not get roughed up by the other two he considered were the Alpha friends his father told him about.

Some Information about Chase!

  • Chase has adopted many pups: Owl, Snow Rabbit and Deerwort and mothers her own daughter Mouse Runner.
  • She is mated to Revel's Shadow Stalker.
  • Although mated she can be a friendly-flirt. Mostly because of her personality, and it's not because she seeks out anything beyond her mate. She is just very cheerful and likes to compliment others around her.
  • Has a soft spot for hard backstories.
  • Works hard, but is probably one of the rare Iron Hides who can not deal damage to another wolf whatsoever.

Silver Bird Siren | Crow Mimic | Joining her Brother Blackwater Raptor (Openish for Interaction, she may not speak to you though.)
Had of course bounded in wearing her brother's flower he had gifted each of their mutual sibling. She wore it tucked in behind an ear, which stuck out against her dazzling dyed silver coat. She strutted in her step to show it off, she was such a proud sister of Raptor and she didn't often get gifts.

As she scoured the area she took note to her mother and Blackwater. She let her tail swish behind her happily, a side she didn't often show! But nonetheless it wasn't time to play off the cold shouldered Mimic! She was there to party. She bounded happily over to Blood Falcon and Blackwater Raptor and nosed both him and Blood Falcon, pulling on her brother's ear gently. "Thanks for the flower, nerd." She grinned, all proud of him for his win but she knew not to hound him with praise like their mother must have already.

Silver Bird Siren might Cut You! (Actually she won't she was told not to misbehave)

  • Silver Bird Siren is Blood Falcon and Azure Sea's daughter.
  • She is a Mimic but no one but certain Crows will know this about her.
  • Don't mess with her siblings with her around. She will end you and your soul.
  • Has a lot in common with her mother, but she is a bit harder like her Aunt Sully in emotions.

Buried Moon | Crow Guard | Watching the Party, Open for Interaction
Buried Moon didn't like the idea of not doing some sort of work so she helped Bliss arrange the gifts they got and when she was done with that she watched over the happenings like a good guard, she didn't know how to unwind but so many wolves in one area made her feel like she was required to watch over the packs mingling.

She watched the trio of Alphas be young hooligans and smirked gently, shaking her head. Of course she was the same age as Big Bad but nonetheless she thought them young hooligans. Her tail swished up against her haunches as she sat quietly scanning the area with her bright ambers.

Buried Moon Information!

  • Although a Crow Guard, it's a joke with Snow Rabbit that when Big Bad gets on her case she threatens to go work for the Iron Hides.
  • Buried Moon is a taller, more lanky, female. She is more of a fighter than a killer.
  • She is a very good teacher.
  • She is not so quietly aiming to take over the Beta position; and she's not afraid to fight her way to the top!
  • She grew up under Big Bad's father's reign. She has always been close to Big Bad as a friend.
  • Moon is very glad to make new friends and talk business with others.
  • Just don't screw up or be too lazy and you'll be in her good books.

Milky Way | Crow Assassin | Interacting with Red Riding Hood? But open for interaction. Unless you're Sully. She scares him.
Milky had been helping the pack set up and making sure everything was running smoothly. He was given work by Buried Moon that day and he aimed to finish it and help make everything go smoothly. Of course he brought whatever little trinkets he didn't have much use for, this included a scarf and other little tidbits he had lying around his den. He didn't often need any of the items he gave and hoped there was use yet to the ones he had gotten from jobs. He had placed them wherever the gift receivers wanted them for them instead of just let them sort it out. He considered that the wolves working were busy enough.

When he moved to look over and around at whomever was there his eyes settled on a small red pelt. His ears pinning forward and allowing his broken ear to flop against his forehead he threw his ears back down and shifted his eyes to make sure no one noticed it. He bounded towards Red Riding Hood and gave her his usual smile in greeting. His maw bowing towards Forbidden Oath in greeting as well. Instead of asking if the Seer needed help he just padded with her. Allowing her to drop the herbs and whathaveyou off to where they needed to go, he helped her sort if she wanted him to. "How've you been?" He cut his silence.

Milky Way Information!

  • Milky Way is rather large, not Alpha large but big enough that being an assassin is a feat.
  • Milky Way's left ear is broken in the cartilage, which makes it teeter and flop over his forehead awkwardly. He usually keeps his ears against his scruff in public. His other ear has a star piercing.
  • He spent a couple of months before he turned 1 training with the Iron Hides.
  • He is only a few months older than Blood Falcon's litter and Red Riding Hood.
  • He was born to a single Assassin female who was banished for killing a crow bird who was defending Milky Way when he was a very young pup. She is the reason his ear is broken, and she was pretty nasty.
  • He's pretty unnerved by Mudsullied Jackal.
  • He's very close to Red Riding Hood (and totally has feelings for her but tries to mask it) and he enjoys Nightingale's friendship.
  • Milky is a shielded boy who presents himself as a cheerful happy-go-lucky sort of gent but inside is rather twisted and confused.

Breath of the Wild | The Crows | Guard | Flirting Interacting with Bliss

Luckily, the she-wolf was receptive to his rather lame advance. She'd seen him before? Was that meant to be flirtatious? Actually, yes, of course it was meant to be flirtatious. When she mentioned her name, it all clicked: she was notorious around the pack for her coquettish ways. He also realized, in passing, he'd heard that she was a fantastic dancer. Maybe she'd show him some time?

The thought took Breath away from the situation for a beat, until he caught himself. "Bliss sounds... apt. I think I'll go with that." He smiled, noting the sultry tone of her voice. It was pleasant. Beyond pleasant. But that was the word that came to mind at first. Whatever it was, he liked it.

At her inquisition, he quickly nodded. "Quite new, but I'm settling in. Pleased to see so many beautiful wolves like yourself around." Another toothy grin spread its way across his face, his teeth bright as the white in his coat. "You dance, right? I've heard... tales of your talent. Impressive, considering how long I've been here."

Snake Bite | The Crows | Gossip {publicly seen as a Scout} | Talking with Buried Moon, open for interactions

After a few minutes of watching the mingling, Snake Bite realized that he was going to have to approach someone himself. His bright eyes apprised the landscape and landed on Buried Moon sitting quietly, doing much the same as he was: observing. She was an absolutely stunning wolf, but other than that he didn't know much about her aside from the fact that she was a guard.

Deciding it was in his best interest to get to know her - in any capacity, as was his duty to the pack - he lifted himself to his paws and sauntered his way through the crowd, making a bee-line for the she-wolf with the bright red scarf.

As he drew near to her, he dipped his head, keeping his eyes steady on hers. "Snake Bite - I don't think we've met before?" It was unfortunate that they had not, but very fortunate that this grand celebration provided him the opportunity to get to know her. That is, if she was feeling receptive to his advances (flirtatious or friendly, didn't matter - all benefitted him and the Crows). "You're Buried Moon, right? What's a wolf like you remaining a wallflower for?"

Night Fell | Sand Raider's Alpha | Getting harassed by Big Bad & Snow Rabbit

Okay, so his idea of trying to slip past the "welcoming" crew hadn't gone quite as planned. Mostly because, in his travels, Night Fell had forgotten to grab something to bring as an offering. And, he felt guilty about it because it was Big Bad's pack. And that was his best mate. Add to that, the fact he'd been in the area more recently but had only visited Snow Rabbit?

Yeah. Fell had not known what to expect from the Alpha of the Crows.

He also wasn't a stealthy as he'd thought.

Getting flattened like a pancake and letting out the manliest (not a chance), "YIP!" when he was tackled, probably shouldn't have come as a surprise.

"Mercy! Mercy!" He gasped out in a mix of no air getting to his lungs, a laugh bubbling up, and the general puppy excitement he felt when seeing the Alpha of the Crows. "Uh... my bad?" Fell said innocently, when he was able to get to his paws. He shook out his coat. Totally cool guys. He was good! "Hello, my bestest buddy in all of Kells! I have dearly missed seeing you."

OH HEY. He'd found a Rabbit too! See? He'd totally planned it all.

"Rabbit!" He barked, tail wagging now that two of his most favorite wolves were here together. And then that white fluffbutt threw him under the stampede. He tattled on him!

Night Fell gasped, staring at Snow Rabbit. "What ever happened to whatever happens in the Hides stays in the Hides?!" He gave Big Bad the most angelic look he could muster. "Rabbit was... helping me with some things. And by the sun, what the hell is on yer face?!" He added, actually getting a good look at the white wolf.

blood falcon (sand raider: den mother) - with all the alphas lmao

One could practically feel the satisfaction radiating off of Blood Falcon. Ah, to see the Raider alpha at ease with his friends~ Nothing needed so much meddling as that.

"He called us mongrels before we left, you know," she pitched in helpfully. Nevermind that Night Fell constantly insulted them as much. "I think you boys need to teach him a lesson in manners, talking to his mother like that."

Quote:

- - -

blackwater raptor (crow: gatherer) - with Silver Bird Siren/eyeing all the pups (available for interaction!)

Blackwater bashfully accepted and reciprocated the affection, surprised his sister was doing it openly. In public! When others could see! This truly was a tremendous day of celebration. Was she planning on just teasing him all day long, though? He of course wouldn't dream of taking up her time if she had other wolves she wanted to meet with, especially with two whole packs there. So many...Gulp.

His gaze kept flickering between Silver Bird Siren and the pups that were trickling in behind the adults. Oh, maybe if he could just pluck up the courage to ask about sitting them...He wanted the other adults to relax, and it wasn't like he was planning on partying much himself anyway. Although could he do it by himself? Probably not...Which meant asking for more help...Unless he really did his best, which he wanted to! But everyone was starting to form groups, which made it harder to approach, and maybe he was thinking too much about it or--

  • Incredibly shy, of few words, but intelligent and a fast learner; something of a flower boy in reputation now
  • Won the last Crows v Iron Hides tournament, somehow, despite said reputation

shadelight (crow: assassin) - with Calico (open for interactions!)

Shadelight gave a long suffering sigh and shook his head as he stepped up into the space. "Callie, Callie, Callie," he tutted as he pressed one pawful of herbs into the meat and began to massage it in. "Don't play dumb - you're with a comrad in love right now, and said comrad knows you're not eyeing just this piece of meat right now. Coon got your tongue or something? I'd kill it soon before someone else makes a move."

- - -

dead reckoning (crow: pupper) - heading towards the other pups at the party/available for interaction!

Ah, there he was. Dead Reckoning raised her voice over the growing din. "Deadlight, to me!" she called. Having an escort would improve her security, which...she hadn't considered. Stupid. Just because these packs said they were friends didn't mean all of their members had the same idea. Once he answered, she motioned with her head to follow and turned to head towards a particular group of females - namely, the ones who had little ones trailing behind.

Time to play ambassador.

With the air of a princess, Dead Reckoning approached Burning Oak, assuming her brother would shadow her as a bodyguard like he usually did. "Hello," she said with a smile. "I'm Dead Reckoning. This is my brother, Deadlight. Welcome to the Crows' celebration."

Quote:
What Is Generally Known About Dead Reckoning (for ur rp flavor purposes)
  • Currently wearing the skull of a bat at her neck in a leather cord/some beads - a party dress!

Haunting Echo and Far Sight had been bickering as usual. Far Sight had been thrilled when he realized that there was a celebration occurring. With so many different birds and wolves coming in, Far Sight knew that he had to attend and he was hellbent on having his dear companion join him.

His "dear companion" wasn't as enthusiastic. He'd only just joined the pack and now they were having a big celebration with wolves from two other packs? He barely knew anyone from the one he had joined! When he had been appointed a Gatherer, he thought that was just fine. He could go around for anything that might be useful, without having to worry about it running off like many prey-beasts did. With Far Sight becoming a messenger crow and bearing the news of a death, his feathered companion stayed more in the pack's camp and less with Echo.

The wolf relished the days that he could work by himself in silence. It was those days he thought, maybe it wasn't such a bad thing that he had joined a pack. But this celebration with so many different wolves springing up to bring gifts... It made him start to doubt all over again. But Far Sight had pointed out that he needed to make an effort to act like a social member. No one would want to keep around a bump on a log, no matter how good that bump was at finding pretty stones or the softest moss. Haunting Echo hated it whenever Far Sight made good points.

So, he showed up. He came bearing things that were common in the woods: owl pellets. He'd become rather good at finding them lately and while he would never admit it, he had fun picking them apart with Far Sight's assistance and finding the bones of little creatures inside, neatly preserved. He'd brought along a dozen or so. He didn't know what he could use them for here, but maybe he could pass one on to a pup and Far Sight could help them open it. Or to a creator who may be able to find something to do with the tiny bones and skulls within.

At least I brought something to the pack meet. He thought. And it's not my fault if no one comes up to ask about it. That said, he was sat a small distance away, beside the pile of owl pellets. Far Sight, as usual, was nearby. The crow shifted his weight from one leg to the other in a rare moment of silence. Haunting Echo knew what was coming.

"C'mon, Echo! You can't expect someone to walk right up to you and ask about your offering! You gotta go make friends yourself!" Burst the crow abruptly, ill-content to be quiet any longer. "You're new to the pack! No one knows about you, this is a perfect time to change that!" The crow added enticingly. "Aaand there's lots of free food!"

"I know there's food. I can smell it from here." Echo replied tartly. "If others in this pack or any other thing I'm worth befriending, than they can put in the effort. As for your encouragements: I'm here. That is good enough." And as far as he was concerned, it was. If someone chose to approach him, he would engage in conversation with them. He was apart of a pack now, he suspected he was expected to act like it.

mudsullied jackal or "sully" (crow: head healer) - with Haunting Echo/Far Sight (open for interactions!)

Sully would have told you that her contribution to the pack was to not attend the party: not only was she aware she wasn't good at socializing, but she also just didn't care that she wasn't. Besides, the celebration wasn't for her, not really: it was for the ones who was native to the pack, partying because they weren't small and dying out and all. Head Healer though she was, Sully sometimes still felt like she was an outlier - mostly because of her own damn self. But there she was anyway, having given over some of her squirrel furs after a bout of good catches in her traps.

Blood Falcon was there, and she had spoken to her sister briefly to catch up before scurrying along, already feeling her fur itch. She could visit with her Raider niece later. Everywhere was loud and happy and eh. It was half chance and half choice that she found herself with the new gatherer and his crow, shaking herself as if so many presences were like water on her fur to get off.

"Watch your gift," she told Haunting Echo. "One of ours is liable to steal the bones inside: black and white one over there, seer kid. Weird gift, owl pellets." But she didn't sound negative, only mildly curious. And a bit blunt. "Ran out of ideas?"

Quote:
What Is Generally Known About Sully (for ur rp flavor purposes)
  • Was first OOCly to join the pack as an outsider (fit that into ur timeline as u will)
  • Idiosyncratic; chatty when it comes to her job, awkwardly blunt about everything else; can seem mean without meaning to
  • Not good at reading social cues; fidgets a lot
  • Incredibly intelligent about various flora
  • Sisters with Blood Falcon (Sand Raider den mother) whom she has envy for; is often seen with her nephew, Blackwater Raptor, to help with his headaches
  • Got 2nd place in the Iron Hides-Crow sparring tournie, somehow; can defend herself rather well despite disliking to expend effort

Deadlight | Crows Pupper | Following Dead Reckoning (Open for interactions!)

His green eyes kept watching everything from where he sat, head moving this way or that as his gaze would hone in on one wolf, follow them, then do the same with another. He wasn't sure how he felt, seeing so many unfamiliar faces. But there was tightening of his muscles, or raising of his hackles. Just... observation.

Until he heard her voice. Like a vice grip, his posture hardened, little body straightening as a soldier coming to form. His ears followed her voice, then his eyes. There. Dead Reckoning. Heading towards.... others.

Deadlight's fur bristled a little in automatic defense, his feet moving quickly to his sisters side. "I found you." He said quietly, giving her a tail wag before taking his point at her side. As she approached Burning Oak, he gave the other a good looking over before sitting down beside Dead Reckoning.

"Welcome." He agreed, giving the other a bob of his head.
