History These clans came about when 5 groups of leopards went searching for land that would benefit all of them. A truce between them has kept them together. Eventually, they found a big enough area with everything they needed that was not already snatched up from other prides. A lake centered the land that was easily split into 5 corners, and a unknown territory.
Within recent times, a group of rogues moved in after being found by the Thunder clan. They moved into the unknown territory and claimed it for their own. They also took the lives of a few clan cats in the process.
Fascinated with them, some of the younger clans members of Shadowclan, joined these rogues and made their own clan with no rules, and only small structure of the Warrior code. While most the time this clan is not a threat due to the land they are on being plentiful with food, does not mean they are a group to not fear. They are not recognized as a true clan by the 5 clans.
Religion:
The clans all believe in star clan, which is a clan of their dead ancestors from each of the clans. They believe that medicine cats can talk to them, and feel that what they say is very important. Most medicine cats tend to be Seers. Their visions are often misinterpreted to be messages from star clan.
Warrior's Code:
1. Defend your clan with your life. Regardless of what friendships you have with other clans, your loyalty is with your clan.
2. Do not hunt, or trespass on other clan property.
3. Elders, Pregnat/nursing She-cats, and Kits are fed first. Warriors and then Apprentices after they've made sure Elders/Kits are fed. If any warrior/apprentice is sick, they may eat with the Elders, pregnant she-cats and kits.
4. Prey is only to be killed for food. Not sport.
5. A cat cannot become deputy until they've at least mentored one apprentice.
6. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires, or is exiled.
7. After the death, retirement, promotion (to a leader status), or exile of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
8. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
9. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
10. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
11.Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall
12. Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits, as they must be able to heal all cats equally (This rule is often broken)
Exception: Cats may travel on other Clan territories if they have something to report or to ask for help.
Clans - Clan Map -
Sky Clan: Sky clan is a quiet clan. Respectful, and graceful. They mostly keep to themselves. These cats can jump extremely well, and tend to hunt in trees primarily. They're much like the Thunder Clan with respects to following the rules, and being thoughtful. However, they're not particularly close to the other clans. They can be found in a gorge near the forest and lake.
You'll find these cats mostly with Bird familiars. Again, other's aren't unheard of.
Thunder Clan: Thunder clan care about everyone. Though they're seen as the clan that is bossy and in everyone's business. They're extremely organized, and are willing to help everyone in need. They will offer advice, even if it's unwanted. Other clans see them in a bitter light, always suggesting that Thunder clan thinks they're stuff is most important. Thunder clan is both close with Shadow clan and Wind Clan. Thunder clan is more likely to accept loners and abandon kits over any other clan. This makes other clans look down upon them.
You'll never catch one of these cats breaking rules unless there is an absolute need for it. Of course, however, this clan thinks they're the best Clan.
You're likely to see these cats with all sorts of familiars. This clan is mostly in the early parts of the forest, where trees aren't too close together.
Shadow Clan: Shadow clan is a clan that everyone wants to be warriors. They care little about anything else. Every prideful, they do not like receiving help from other clans unless there is no other way around it. They believe they are the best clan, and can be very aggressive to other clans. They have close ties with Thunder Clan, but still see them way below their own clan. Thunder clan is the first clan they ask for assistance. Half because they're closest to them.
These cats tend to be more likely to break the Warrior code. Ones that don't matter extremely.
It'd be weird to see a Shadow clan with a bird familiar. While it's not unheard of though! Snakes tend to be their primary friend. They are primarily located in the deep forest.
River Clan: River Clan is just as it seems, they live along the river, and love to swim. They are closest with Wind clan, but bicker heavily with Shadow clan. These cats aren't easy to gain their trust, but they're not the type to be hostile towards others. They may break a code or two, but nothing that would get them into trouble like the Shadow Clan.
You'll see them mostly with familiars that can swim.
Wind Clan: Wind clan tends to not trust very many clans. In fact, they only really tolerate River and Thunder. They would not call them friends, however. They live in open fields, and are first to run from a fight. These cats tend to be the fastest out of all the clans, and most religious. They feel they are the closest to the Star clan above due to not having any trees about them.
Rogue Clan: This group is not really a clan, but in fact hostile group of cats. Most of them are Rogues that have come together to take whatever they want. They have no rules, and are capable of killing clan cats. They are the biggest threat in their territory. While they aren't actually apart of anything, they're still recognized.
They take no Warrior codes, only old clan cats continue to use their clan names, since that is all they know. Most Rogue cats will have rogue like names. These will be their actual SoA names. The only ranks are the leader himself, Kin master and his followers, being the rank called Kin.

Birth Name: Each kit is given a clan name, and a SoA name. Clan names can be anything around the world. ( Examples: Flamekit, Alderkit, Fishkit, Sunkit ect.) They will keep this name until they become an Adolescent. This name is given by their parents, and can start off as anything.
Their SoA name is a name that the shop will recognize, but ICly won't be used in the clan, if they leave the Territories, they'll use their SoA name, not clan name. This has to follow the SoA naming rules! They will keep this name forever.
Apprentice Name: Once a cub becomes a Adolescent, they are given an apprentice name. Basically it's just the previous name with paw added at the end. (Example: Flamepaw, Alderpaw, Sunpaw,ect.)
Once they are given their apprentice name, they are also given a mentor to show them how to be a warrior. This will be determined by random. There will be a list of Warrior cats that do not already have an apprentice and will be given one.
If they happen to be seers, they're mentors will be a medicine cat more than likely.
This will be announced at the Full moon gathering. Each clan will be able to proudly boost about their new apprentices.
Name Day/Warrior Name: When a leopard has come of age, and has proven themselves warriors, they are then given their final name. This name is given to them by their clan leader. (OOC this could be anything, Examples Flameclaw, Squirrelshine, Fishswim, ect you get the idea)
This will be rolled for, giving the impression that the clan leader him/herself has given to them. Each month will have a list of names one can roll from. When their leopard comes of age, they are welcome to roll for that month's name. Whatever they roll is their warrior name. (This will be the second part of their name. Example, Flame rolls Claw, then his name becomes Flameclaw from that point on. Their beginning name will never change) This names must not contain Star, Kit, or Paw in them.
This will be announced at the Full moon gathering. Each clan will be able to proudly boost about their new warriors.

Star - Clan Leader Deputy - Second in charge Medicine Cat - Healers Warrior - Default rank Apprentice - Adolescent Kit - Cub

Full Moon's Gathering: Full moon's Gathering is when all the clan's get together and report how their pride is doing. This is where they will state any new cubs, new apprentices and who their mentors are, and any new warriors. Along with any issues within their clans. It also gives a chance for each clan to come together and interact with each other.
This is the only time all clan members (Apprentice and up), can come together and enjoy eachother's company without fighting. This happens at night near the lake
Half Moon's Gathering: Half moon's Gathering is when the moon is half there. This is when all clan's medicine cats come together and "Talk" to Star clan. This happens at night near the lake. Only medicine cats are allowed to attend this meeting.
Leading Ceremony Like most things, leaders will come and go. Either they will step down from their spot, or they will die and need to be replaced. When this happens, the Deputy of the clan will then step forward and become the leader of the clan.
In order to become a deputy, you must first have at least 1 complete rp with the apprentice given to your SoA. As to become a deputy, you must at least have mentored one apprentice. In order to fulfill this rank, one will have to actually rp it out!
To keep things moving along, if a clan leader is MIA for longer than 8 months, I will be replacing them with their current deputy. So please, try to keep active in the pride if you win one of the clan leaders/deputies!
Joining the Pride Once the pride is fully up, each month will have a different clan available for new leopards to join. This will allow new comers into the pride, but not overwhelm a given clan. Example: August all new comers will be accepted into Sky clan.
The only exception is rogues. The rogues will be open to new cats all the time. They will not turn away possible defenses. Though leaving them could result in some serious consequence.

Breeding Breedings are open, but only for rogue breeding. You can assume that a male from the clan knocked your Leopardess up. Males, however, are allowed to enter the mix and match.
A She-cat and Tom-cat that decide they want to breed can either become life mates, or single breeding. Tom-cat cannot shire more than one litter until they're current kits are adolescents. This can easily be ignored if the Tom-cat is in a different clan.
Cross-clan breeding Clans can breed and mate with other clans, but it's highly frowned upon. Kits will stay with the mother's clan until they're warriors and can choose to join the father's clan. As long as the couple involved knows that their own clan is where their loyalty lies, not with their mate in the other clan.

Oh, whoops ^^; But is that for the first part of the name, or the second part? So I don't do that wrong!
You can either pick both parts, or roll for the second part. Like what Mango did. She picked Pumpkinpaw's warrior name. Or like myself, who rolled all of my dude's second names.
