The deity had yet to officially return home and essentially reveal that both she and her mortal offspring remained unharmed. Yet throughout their stay within the oasis she had come to observe the machinations of mortals much more closely. She'd been naive many moons ago, unaware that cruelty lay within the hearts of some (but not all) and as a consequence she had found herself embroiled in a tale that she hadn't been prepared for.
...Alas, time had a way of aiding those who were willing to learn.
It was experience that had taught her that regardless of how safe she thought she had been, how shrouded and hidden she had kept her children, there were eyes and ears everywhere. She would have been sighted and she had little doubt that news of her existence and the survival of her children would not be surprising. The whispering shadows would already have return to their source to reveal this much...alas, the deity was more than capable of attending to herself and her now grown children... and she had little qualms about ending a life that challenged her.
In a way, Destati would have been proud of her, yet one might be concerned at her lost innocence.
Ah, but such musings were for another time when she returned to the Al-Siq to reunite with her mortal mate. For now she sought to explore the ruins of the unusual settlements that had been left all but deserted as the heavens had fallen. They were quite unlike anything she had seen in any pride she had explored - certainly, prides were creative in the manner they built their homes but there was something very different about these... Glass, for one, was not something they had the capacity to make.
She hadn't expected to meet any of her own (she hadn't in a while to say the least) but something in the air made her whiskers twitch and her gaze lifted.
Now who might she have in her midst, hm?

"We do seem quite inclined towards meddling," She clucked her tongue at the news that there may have been a pride subject to the wrath of the divine. She wasn't in favour of such behaviour, but she acknowledged there were several domains that might choose to sow chaos and destruction simply because it made them feel alive; for all intents and purposes it was their sole drive and they had nothing else to define them.
"They have my condolences," she added and shook her head. "But I've seen more than a few prides since I arrived here, I've been rather inclined to explore this world than home," she hazarded a smile. "Actually I would regard this as more of my home than anything else," she admitted. She'd known the heavens had been shut, something had been amiss, but she hadn't actually had the chance to find out why.
Now she knew, there'd been a battle.
"They aren't all bad you know," she offered. "Some are quite loving and kind, very welcoming and willing to embrace those who are new," she paused briefly. "But they are just as unpredictable as us, some are nice and others are not so."
"I'm Arimathras, it's a pleasure."

She knew what it was like to be tarred with the same brush as others, in fact it was something she had observed within the Al-Siq as they continued their cycle of madness. Their endless warfare was something she considered pointless, based on myth and each individual's own interpretation of events that happened centuries ago...yet they were just as stubborn as gods and would not be told... at least not for now.
The lioness paused as she considered whether or not she could suggest anywhere that he might enjoy visiting, though the more she dwelled on it, the more she realised that those prides she had deemed safe had all been subject to some turmoil and she wasn't entirely sure if they had recovered from it yet.
"Most coastal tribes are very pleasant," she offered after a moment. "Though I had heard that there were some grievances among them I don't think it is within them to blame an outsider," she admitted. Whether they be Kizi, Bahari, Pirate or otherwise, those prides had always treated her well and whatever dramas they might have had they had always kept it to themselves. Perhaps he would find a friend in them?
"Alternatively there are the smaller ones, but..." She pursed her lips. "Who knows how our chaotic fate affected them?" she sighed.
"But do not think of them too badly, I know for a fact there are good ones... I chose one as my mortal mate." She added. "And I wouldn't do that if they were filled with ill intentions."

Pemota chuckled "Which could have been affected by the gods war, everything could be, perhaps a little positive emotion is in order somewhere and that is where I should go, I suppose it is my job that I haven't been doing till now, and I should get off my tail and start trying to make others happy." He nodded "There really is no telling how far spread the effects are, look at this place, who knows what all has been affected." He shook his head, wondering what the creatures who lived here were like. He smiled "Love is certainly a positive emotion and one I would love to love, but I have never been in love with a god or mortal, perhaps someday. Or well I suppose love can become a negative emotion as well and turn to hate or obsession, always two sides to the same coin."

"Perhaps," Ari smiled, was that what he was born for?
"Maybe you encountered that mortal for a reason, if there's anywhere that might need you, it could very well be there," she mused. Harvest was an odd domain, she was for the most part simply seasonal and expected; rarely did she find that her presence was required. Short of a famine, Harvest very rarely needed to intervene in the affairs of mortals and if she did it wasn't with her gifts.
That being said, if there was ever a time that she could intervene she probably would, she preferred that no one went hungry.
"In the end you may be the one to turn their melancholy around...and once positivity is back hope tends to come with it." She tilted her head to the side and chuckled. "Although you may have to deal with a few unhappy individuals until they begin to acknowledge the bright side."
