Today was a day that he'd gotten all his chores done, and decided to go spy on some of the wingriders. Wren found them such a pretty site, and the svelte boy loved to simply sit upon his perch and stare at their formations. Even today, he'd made sure he looked wonderful, with deep blues draping around his form, accenting those bright sapphire eyes and long golden hair. Gems drooped from his ears and neck, his tattoo glimmering slightly. He was PROUD of the work his 'father' had done for him, proud of his looks too, for the boy might well have been a courtesan if he'd not developed such a taste for the finer things. Finer like the Wingrider on that lovely bronze...the one from High Reaches.

N'ceph was indeed being stared at rather intently by the androgynous boy. Wren had been quietly watching the man since he'd arrived at the weyr, taking in his habits, his personality, everything about him before he'd decided to at last make his move. A simple move, watching the wing drills, waiting, biding his time, until dragon and rider were in the bathing caverns where Wren could very 'discreetly' join them. He slipped in very quietly, looking over the large bronze appreciatively, "I hope..." His voice was so sweet and warm, dripping with seductive promise.

"That such a strong rider and his beautiful bronze wouldn't mind a Candidate like me joining them." Faranth please let this work.

It had been a long day, and N’ceph was tired, sore, and dirty from a hard days work. He didn’t begrudge the long hours put in, it felt good, and he was doubly glad that Western Weyr had seen marked improvement. They had come a long way since he’d first been tapped to help train three Turns ago--and had come to enjoy the company of the milder Weyr. So much so that when High Reaches called their riders back, he put in for a transfer instead. While he approved of the mountainous Weyr, and it was his home, he found he much preferred the milder climate and closeness to the water. It was a foreign land, and N’ceph thoroughly charmed.

Thankfully, the rest of the night was his, and he was more than happy to spend some of that time in one of his favorite spots. While there were indoor, bathing chambers for the riders, there were also some larger pools in some of the caverns. Chambers that could be used for bathing or pleasure, but ones that were large enough to fit some of the dragons, or at least with ledges for the beasts to perch. It was something unique to Western, and something High Reaches Weyr could never have.

Lounging in the waters, the man leaned up against his bronze. The water wasn’t as warm as actual bathing chambers within the caverns of the Weyr, but the outdoor bathing pool was more of a treat. He didn’t come to be warm, he came to enjoy the scenery, and spend time with Riventh. The bronze preferred the weyrlake, but was happy to humor His in such a treat. Lost in quiet conversation, eyes closed, N’ceph almost missed Wren’s approach until his bronze shifted, and became ever more alert.

Opening an eye, the bronze rider found himself surprised by the company. He didn’t know who Wren was, but he certainly remembered a blonde figure watching them earlier that afternoon, but his focus had been on training. Threadfall didn’t allow for distractions. But here? Now? Now he could be as distracted as he pleased, and even he couldn’t, and wouldn’t, deny that the man slipping into the water was striking. Still, it was a thought he tucked away, kept to himself, even if Riventh gave a small snort.

“I don’t mind,” he stated with a lazy drawl, trying his best not to look overly interested. A difficult to thing with how the other spoke, and how he looked. Courtesan, maybe? Didn’t matter who he was, really. He’d be good. Ish. So, N’ceph continue to lounge, not bothering to sit up. Instead, he kept himself leaned comfortably against Riventh, though his eyes never left the blonde. “This here’s Riventh,” he introduced, “I’m N’ceph. And you might be?” He figured if they were sharing a bathing pool together, they might as well as exchange names.
