Hmmmm... The flick of his tail, the look in his eyes, might have indicated the ghostly lion was up to something, or at least was plotting. For the moment he was alone, staring thoughtfully at the nearby rock wall. His gaze drifted from one side to the other as if he were trying to decide something. Periodically he would look toward the ground, tracing a shape or line in the earth with a single talon. Just what was he up to? Finally a grin, he tuned to something resting on the ground near his paws, a bunch of dark berries and some clay? Ohh.....it seems someone has something...artistic in mind. Now, he only needed someone willing to join him. Hopefully that someone would take him up on his invitation.

Thwayya and Cillian were getting along pretty great as of late. The two had explored the pride together and even climbed a cliff (despite there being an easy way up). So it was safe to say that Thwayya was actually quite excited at the prospects of seeing Cillian once more. She had of course accepted the invitation for a little leisurely messing up of the walls. With a pop in her usually cynical way of walking she approached the ghost lion. There was a small satisfied smile on her maw seeing that he had everything ready for their activity today. "I see you're ready Cillian. Care to show me what it is you wanted to do?" The most wall painting the lioness had done was placing a bloody paw print on the wall which was still there. Thwayya had checked a few days earlier at least and it had been undisturbed beside that of Cillians. "I'm ready to learn how to do this," She took a seat beside the ghostly lion looking quite excited about what they had planned.

Cillian stood to his paws, approaching the lioness with a smile. It seemed in the time they had spent together, the ghostly lion was growing more confident, more sure of himself. He liked Thwayya, she was fun and he enjoyed spending time with her. Maybe he'd just needed a friend to finally draw the introvert out. "Well, you just...put your paw in the colors and, paint what you feel." As he spoke, he demonstrated, putting his paw in the clay first, then drawing a shape on the rock wall, then in the berries with his other paw to draw another. The clay left a gray mark, the berries a brilliant red, mixing them together would probably result in a darker red? A grin, he turned toward the lioness, then back to his art, painting with both forepaws. A creature? A lion? Well, as well as a lion could draw a lion. The drawing was crude, but well, at least he knew what it was.

Thwayya watched and listened carefully as the ghost lion demonstrated exactly what he had in mind. Her eyes steadied on what it was Cillian was trying to paint ultimately to shrug and dip her own front paws in to the paints making a gooosh sound as she did so. Satisfied, she then placed her paws on to the wall and began to smear around the mixture in some form of chaotic, yet, artistic musing. There was no end goal in mind when she started this except to feel the cold concoction splat this way and that. "There," She took a seat and gazed at the mess she'd made all over her portion of rock wall. "Look at that. There may be something to this whole painting thing after all," Thwayya was confident in her ability to 'art' and so didn't rinse her paws off when she dipped her paw in to another color. It was a shock when she started to paw the color on to the wall only to find it was turning a deep rooted brownish color. "...." This didn't stop her though. Thwayya continued to paw the now brown paint on to the rock wall.

Cillian seemed quite pleased with his own art, stepping back to admire his work. The shape of the creature was at lest lionish, the body, head, and tail shapes clearly distinguishable. Except....it seemed to have too many legs, lions are not supposed to have that many legs. Oh well, he still liked it. A grin, the ghostly lion looked to his companion's piece, his head tilted curiously as he tried to figure out what it was. It was certainly what he would have called abstract, but maybe he was just not seeing it as she did? "I like it. You seem to have painted yourself as much as you did the wall though." He laughed quietly, indicating the splotches of clay and berry juice all over her fur. Not that he had fared much better, his own white paws thoroughly stained in various shades of gray and red. That was going to take a while to wash out.

It was true that she had painted mostly her self and she had a good laugh with the ghostly lion about it. Then it dawned on her to scoot closer to Cillian. "You know you have a little here" she lifted a paint covered paw and tapped his forhead adding paint to the male. " And here and here" two more taps and more paint was added. Thwayya was beyond amused at this point. Moments like these made her feel at ease with the world and forget her troubles. At least for now she felt warm.

Uh-oh, Cillian was not sure he liked that look in Thwayya's eyes. She was up to something, what was she doing? The ghostly lion had barely had a chance to step back before he suddenly found a paw print left on his head. He blinked, staring at her a moment. "Hey!" Oh, she wanted to play that game did she? Alright then, it was on! His own paw raised, boping her on the nose and splattering paint on her in retaliation. Hah! Take that! A smirk, Cillian reared on his hind paws to splatter her with a few more globs of paint from his forepaws before quickly darting out of range toward the paints to 'reload', bracing for the retaliation he was sure would follow. This was going to get messy, and something told him they were both going to be washing paint from their fur for the next week.

Paint was starting to get every where now and Thwayya couldn't have been more pleased to see Cillian getting in to the spirit of play paint party. She grabbed a few more dips of paint on her paw and playfully smacked it to the once white males pelt. He was starting to look more like a burst of color rather than a ghost. "Okay okay I give up," She laughed. "I think we're all painted up but I guess thats what we were gonna do any how mmmmm?" She was being playful thats for sure. "What kind of painter gets painted instead of the wall ?" She was teasing as she was just as covered in paint as he was.

Paint was absolutely everywhere, the ground, the walls, his fur, his mane, his paws, his tail, even one ear was now distinctly berry red. Oops? The painted white lion didn't seem to mind though, not when his companion was just as covered as he was. Cillian only grinned, a full body shake to fling the loose paint from his own pelt and onto Thwayya's. Well, this was going to take a while to wash out, and then there were paw prints and splatters all over the ground around them. Maybe the rain would wash that away? "A painter who enjoys what he does." It seemed the white lion had finally come out of his shell, at least around Thwayya, and he found he greatly enjoyed the time they spent together, that he looked forward to that time. But for now, it seemed they should call the painting finished, maybe a swim in the water would be good now, they could wash the paint from their fur before it stained any further.

"Well I am happy with the finished product for sure," She couldn't deny that the outcome was chaotic but she was quite pleased. "Alright then .. maybe we could wash this off? " She knew the two looked ridiculous and was alright with that but also wasn't feeling comfortable as the paint began to dry and cake on her fur. It was going to ruin their pelts the longer it stayed on.

Cillian nodded, pleased with the 'artwork' they had created, even if at least half of it had ended up on their fur. A glance down at his paws, hmm, perhaps washing off was a good idea, before the paint stained their hides forever. "Yeah." But there was a hint of mischief in his eyes, a grin on his maw. And then he had planted a last pawprint on his companion before running off, racing off in the direction of the closest water hole. "Race you!" Laughter echoed behind the ghostly lion. Perhaps the shy lion was finally learning to come out of his shell.
