"Easy boy, calm down." Her words were soft as she spoke to the runner that tossed his head, eyes wild and staring past her towards the candidate that caused the problem. The boy had gotten a little too close to him while cleaning the paddock and spooked him, causing the runner to rear up and strike out with his hooves.
Easing her way towards the runner, Tahirah let her hand find his neck adding firm pressure so he knew she was there. "It's alright, just take it easy." Always talking, keep talking to keep him at ease. It paid off as the wild and scared look left the runner's eyes and he turned his head letting it bump against her a soft whinny escaping him. She chuckled at the response, patting his neck and then gently pushing the runner away so he could go back to eating. Blue eyes moved to look at the boy that had spooked the runner, she did better working with them then she did with other people. "Go to the healers...make sure you are okay..."
Tahirah didn't watch to see if the boy had heeded her advice or not. She turned back to what she had been doing, the chore she had been assigned for today, cleaning out the runners paddocks. These were the chores she was happiest to get, that or when she could just go around and replace the glows, as long as she was out of a large crowd she was happy.
A pop was heard overhead as a light blue flit appeared from between, letting out a warble of greeting before landing onTahirah's shoulder, nuzzling against her.
