![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.](https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/s.gif) Step. Step. Step. One paw in front of the other. No reason to keep going. No reason to stop. The lion had no idea where he was, with no destination in mind, and no place he absolutely had to be. The time of day didn't matter; the landscape didn't matter; the weather didn't matter. Nothing mattered, as far as the black eyed lion was concerned, and it wouldn't matter as long as he kept himself closed off to the world.
He kept his head lowered, as it was too much effort to actually look where he was going; intead, he only knew he was going anywhere at all was due to watching his paws move, and the ground slowly slip away beneath him. How long had he been walking -- it was very difficult to say. All he knew was that the sands and stones had turned more into softer grasses; the heat was less, and the scents had changed.
Finally, glancing up, the lion looked around. He seemed relatively alone, which was jut as well for him. There were a few herds farther out, but for the most part, the savanna was empty -- just like him. Alone, the large lion finally sat down, and let his folded wings droop, and fall idly to his sides. His large wings were near useless as they were in an eternal stage of molt; and his spiked tail was covered in all sorts of dead and rotted foliage.
Honestly, Nemanja'janan looked like hell -- but he just couldn't bring himself to care.
So he sat there, still as a statue, lost in thoughts and the shroud of apathy.

Nemanja'janan heard the shuffle of movement, soft pads treading over grasses, and the questioning voice to follow. For a long moment, the black and white god said nothing; in fact, he hardly stirred. Whoever was near, he didn't care; he didn't have to answer, didn't have to say a word. And yet, something in him knew that he could at least acknowledge the being that spoke; someone had taken so much effort, the least he could do was answer.
Meh.
Slowly, the large lion turned to let his gaze settle on the stranger. If he was surprised to see another god, the emotion didn't register on his features. Green blue mane, a brown coat of various colors, and a sprinkling of white. Whoever this was, Nemanja'janan had never met him before. Well, that didn't matter, did it?
"Hello." He replied, though the word was thick and gravelly. It had been some time since he last spoke, and he almost needed to remember how. One of his ears gave a small twitch as a fly tried to irritate the lion, but that too, was relatively ignored. Should he say something else? Did he try to remember pleasantries? Mmph. Almost as soon as the thoughts registered, they drifted out again, over ruled by his apathy. It didn't matter in the long run, did it?

Nemanja'janan hadn't expected the other lion to continue talking. Apathy understood the amount of energy it took to project any sort of feeling or interest in another; talking, listening, caring... It was a lot more work than just being passive to everything. Still, a sliver of the lion understood that Ekundayo had no need to put forth such effort or affability. There was no reason for the other god to linger, so the fact that he was talking to him was already unexpected.
"Nemanja'janan," the lion finally rumbled his name by way of introduction. He let the others name sink in, placing it with the others colors, before considering his words. They were strangers, but then, Nemanja'janan had only known of a few gods during his time. He had never been the most outgoing of creatures, even before he had shrouded himself in his domain.
As for his appearance... He gave a small grunt. "It is what it is." He stated. The large lion shifted his shoulders, as if to give a shrug, but even that seemed too much effort for the creature. What did his appearance have to do with anything? Was it so noticeable? Though he didn't care what he looked like, the black eyed lion had never once been called out about his appearance. Molten wings, itchy mane, tangled and matted fur.... He had no reason to groom for anyone these days. Not after - - -
Nope.
The memory that had almost slipped through was quickly overwhelmed. It no longer we relevant, it no longer mattered. "And you are.... very green." He finally countered, looking back up at the stranger. If he had been younger, it would have been said in jest -- but now, it came out more of a dry comment. Nemanja almost would have allowed a smile, but why? Whether Ekundayo caught it or not, it didn't matter. Ekundayo didn't matter. Nothing did. This lion would drift away and be nothing but a blip in an otherwise monotonous day.
