It wasn't every day that Intiha-ka left the island the Te'a-Nakhun had come to, but it wasn't uncommon, either. She might not be Akheti - in fact, if she were not Adhi-raj, she would have been Jaitra - but she made a point of joining them on hunts now and then. Not because they needed her, but because she needed to stay close to her pride, to her family and friends, and not keep too great a distance between herself and them. Today, however, she was by herself when she took advantage of low tide and crossed to the mainland. Sometimes, rather than crossing with a group to seek prey, she crossed alone to seek...something else. Something she had yet to find.
The brightly-colored lioness was unphased by the rain as she made her way inland, not bothering to shake it off - between the rain and the crossing, she was quite thoroughly soaked, and there was neither anything to be done for it nor anything wrong with it. It wasn't the most promising weather for what she sought, as whatever rogues were in the area might be sheltering from the rain rather than strolling about, but it was worth a look anyway.

Even in the downpour, it was hard to miss a bright pelt, standing out like a sore paw. She could understand why some prides eschewed such vibrant colors, as they certainly were a disadvantage in hunting that needed to be made up for in skill and tricks, but little did they know that when they rejected more colorful individuals, they were rejecting their betters. Those who had lived their previous lives with more honor than those who now bore dull coats.
Intiha-ka saw him the moment he started to move, rushing out into the rain and calling to her. 'Miss.' She had to quirk a little smile at that, as it wasn't something she was called...well, ever. "It's just a bit of rain," the muscular lioness said with a chuckle. "I highly doubt it will be what kills me."
