Daniel's paycheck was low this pay period because he missed two days for Thanksgiving. Also he missed a day because the car was acting up and then because of Alex's birthday.
So now we're deciding if we want to pay rent on time but only have like $150 left over for two weeks (we need to be able to get gas, Daniel drives far and food and stuff like that), Or pay rent late and have a $60 late fee.
If we pay rent late we can pay off all the other bills, finish our Christmas shopping, and have enough money for food and gas.
Only thing that makes me nervous is our rent HAS to be paid by the 15th or you get an eviction notice. And he doesn't get paid again till the 13th. So I'm all paranoid its going to get lost or something.
Ugh.

Hope everything gets figured out and works out in the end.

Yikes, that's tough. Seems like paying the rent late is the more practical approach, but that eviction notice risk. You wouldn't be able to call your landlord and maybe get an extension if push comes to shove?

He gets paid on the 13th so we're good. We're paying it late. They CANT do anything until the 15th legally.
