![User Image](https://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a123/Talencia/Gaia/Brothers.jpg) I was given these boys back in 2015, won them from a contest run by Quaji. I was allowed to keep one and give the other two away, but things happened, and I never did anything with them! At this point, I've decided I want to give all three away, so here they are! This contest will run until June 24 at 7pm Pacific!Basic background for these boys is that they were raised together in a rather normal, unremarkable family in the roguelands. Though their parents allowed them to stay as long as they liked, all three brothers chose to leave at some point.
RULES
1. Only enter for ONE brother.
2. Do not edit or delete roll posts please. If you roll the wrong dice, or otherwise don't follow the instructions, please just post again with a note about what went wrong in the last post.
3. Do NOT roll again if you don't like the result. You picked the ranges, please honor the rolls.
4. How you interpret your rolls is up to you (within reason). There is no single way to translate how your rolled traits are represented.
5. Be nice and have fun!

Brother: Eldest Name: Dayo Meaning: "Joy Arrives" in Yoruba Trait Ranges and Results: Clumsy - Agile || 79 Surly - Sunny || 77 Gullible - Wise || 11
Personality Blurb: Dayo believes in destiny wholeheartedly. Everything happens for a reason and everyone has a purpose. His purpose? To roam the earth, lending assistance to those in need and even fostering young ones left without parents. He's quick on his feet and agile to boot, allowing him to get from place to place at a fast pace; that is, if traveling alone. In company, he has no problem matching their steps and having a jovial time with his travelling party.
Dayo is also very easily fooled. Gullible to an extreme, unbelievable lies spoken to him have him gasping in shock and belief. His trust is easily won over and even when stabbed in the back, he tends to search for the reason why rather than jump to assumptions. No one is fully lost, in his opinion, and everything happens for a reason.
Why did this brother leave the family unit, and what happened then?: He didn’t want to leave his brothers. He absolutely adores his younger siblings and wants to continue mother henning them for as long as he can! But… Dayo got distracted by a travelling merchant. The travelling merchants name? Ejo the Hyena and his companion Akata the snake.
Dayo had just gotten back from scouting the area… and had gotten slightly turned around. His memory of direction wasn’t terrible, it was simply… not good. ”Yooo hooo! I’m back!” he called out cheerfully, eagerly looking around. Silence. Hmmm... ”Little brothers? Your amazing big brother is back! Come cutely run to me!”
Obviously, there was no sign of them. Glancing at the direction of the setting sun, Dayo began trekking in the opposite direction, hoping he remembered correctly which way he had been going before. And then, suddenly, a shriek caught his ears. Eyes blown wide, he hesitated for only a moment before dashing towards the noise. It didn’t sound like his brothers but… Fear shivered through his body as he imagined losing his siblings. They were his light in his life, he couldn’t imagine a world without them. And it was his job, as the eldest, to protest them. Gritting his jaw, Dayo pressed fasted.
And nearly trampled on the sprawled hyena.
”Oh sh-“ Dayo yelped, legs tangling before he ate dirt, face making impact with the earth. Groaning, he sat up and shook his head, before eyes focused on the unconscious creature. At least, seemingly unconscious. Any other would have noticed the eyes peeking open and the barely suppressed grin. Dayo only saw a hyena that needed his help. ”Oh no, little buddy… are you hurt?” Dayo asked in a shocked whisper, ducking to his belly and crawling forward to examine the body. He missed the twitch of irritation from the hyena. The hyena did not quite like the name little buddy.
”oooh,” the hyena groaned theatrically before his eyes slammed open and he stared up at Dayo. ”You saved me… I thought I was a goner…” Dayo was rather confused. All he had done was nearly trample the male. But… who was he to deny it? Grinning, Dayo stood tall.
”Well, in that case, it was no problem. How did this happen to you, anyways?” he asked curiously, looking over the hyena. He didn’t look hurt, just a bit dirty. The hyena brushed it off before standing up without a single limp. Dayo didn’t notice.
”No matter, no matter! It’s perfect that you’re here! You look like a big, strong one, huh? Quick, too, I bet?” The hyena grinned. ”The names Ejo. And my beloved partner, Akata, was kidnapped!” The hyena pretended to sway. Dayo quickly moved closer, ready to catch him.
”When?! How?! I’ll help anyway I can,” Dayo assured, looking around searchingly. Were the perpetrators still there?
The hyena’s grin grew larger. ”Why, nice of you to ask! It’s at the Wild Mane hideout, a few days west of here near the caves. If you leave now, you can make it,” the hyena assured, moving towards the break in the trees with a jolly step. ”Oh… and while you’re there… could you retrieve what they stole from me?”
Dayo nodded eagerly. His brothers would understand. He just needed to help out this poor hyena and his friend and then, he’ll be back to his family. It would take no time at all, a week at most. Taking a deep breath, he fussed over Ejo a while longer before leaving. It really wouldn't take long for him. Not only did he have his speed as a cheetah, but he seemed to be more agile than all the creatures he met. Tripping and falling was only due to attempting to stop.
Ejo wasn’t only a merchant. He was a treasure hunter, a liar, and a coward. And now, he had some chump doing the job for him. Akata would make sure it was a success. They would meet up at the rendezvous point.
(After the mission, which will be developed more, Ejo just encounters one thing after another and never says no to helping someone out. In between his assistances, he is on a constant quest to find his brothers again).
**note: Ejo means Snake in Yoruba. Akata means Hyena in Yoruba
Extra RP Prompt Response:
The future holds a long journey. I could see him being a sort of foster parent with his own small gang of younglings. Because he can't possibly leave them behind to fend for themselves. And he never turns down someone in need of help. Dayo doesn't have to be asked; he would automatically demand to assist in anyway. I would like him to go on many adventures across lands, staying temporary from place to place as he carries out help. But his ultimate goal is to come across his brothers again. His goal, of course, constantly gets pressed back when he encounters someone in trouble but Dayo fully believes that his brothers would understand.
