So this is a bit of an overdue contest! And it's mercifully short, ROFL Starts: 5/9/17 @10pm PST Ends: 5/16/17 @10pm PST Rules1. Unless he's somehow going to change sides to the Jedi, he must stay in the Sith! 2. Normally I'm against the idea, but he's 100% A-okay to hate his dad! And his brother. And his brother's... Friend... Frienemy? His complicated companion. You'll see why shortly why I'm fine with it in this case! 3. No sore losers About the family Luka - Father of the two cubs, Luka is best described as a manipulative b*****d a*****e. There's no good descriptions about him, besides making some good handsome sons. His temper is short, and his patience nearly as short, with all of it reserved for his direct family. To say he's probably not the best lion to be raising cubs is unquestionably truth, but he won't say what happened to their mother. He never speaks of his past beyond the obvious of having one sister, two nephews(They're off in the Kizingo'zaa), and his two sons. Noita - Luka's younger son, he takes quite a bit after Luka in personality, besides actually holding his temper in far greater check. He's still prone to explosive anger, but not nearly as fast. He's indifferent to others at best, bowing only to those higher in rank than he is, and scorning all others. He's found a strange friend in the demon sador, Rakshasa. Their relationship is strange and complicated. Rakshasa - A Sador in the Aegnor'hini, Rakshasa takes a bit after his own mother, Lillith, who tends to be called It by the pride. Rakshasa generally respects his pride, and the Nguvu, but only because he knows there's lions much stronger than he is in both. He has a habit of trying to bite chunks out of lions who aren't in either, or an ally of the Aegnor. Thanks to Noita's goading, he's particularly fond of the idea of trying to take a bite out of a Jedi. His relationship with Noita is strange and complicated, at best. Understand that Rakshasa does not represent the whole of Aegnor to the Nguvu, and he does not always visit their border.Luka's children do not personally know their aunt or their cousins at this time.

I have come for the cookies! Name: Ngaro Meaning: Mystery What are his thoughts on his father?: Ngaro looks up to his father, but also steers clear as often as he can. While he admires his father he knows that his temper comes hard and fast, its just easiest to not be there when it does. What are his thoughts on his brother?: Ngaro thinks his brother is stupid, and thats putting it nicely. He despises the odd relationship he has with the Sador Rakshasa. Would he consider joining the Jedi?: No Why?: He sees the Jedi as week and pathetic. Personality: Ngaro always appears to be calm and collected. While his father and brother (sometimes) are explosive with anger Ngaro hold his emotions close never letting them get the better of him. Cold and calculating would be the best way to explain him. He respects only his father and some might agrue that is mostly due to fear.

I have come for the cookies! Name: Zigoga Meaning: to maim What are his thoughts on his father?: Zigoga respects his father in terms of strength and that's about it. He finds him brutish and cruel, two things that are common within the Sith, but to a degree that stands out among the crowd here. Zigoga avoids him when he can now that he's old enough to fend for himself. What are his thoughts on his brother?: Noita is a strange case, since he and Zigoga grew up together. Although he is similar to their father, Zigoga has a greater tolerance of his brother's behavior, probably because he can hold his own against him in terms of battle where his father would simply mow him down. That being said, the older he gets, the more Zigoga questions if he loves Noita for who he is or if he just feels committed to him because of their blood relation. Would he consider joining the Jedi?: Yes Why?: He doesn't feel like he's a good fit for the Sith. Having been raised with their mindset and to think that the Jedi are their natural born enemy will make things hard, but perhaps he was born on the wrong side of the Force when he belongs to the Light rather than the Darkness. Personality: Zigoga is a very mixed up boy. When he was little he became very aware of the fact that his father was not a kind lion, nor were those around him. His sense of self preservation is strong and while some might label him a coward, he prefers to think of himself as one who values life over glory. He inherited his father's short temper, but rather than lashing out in frustration he generally becomes very quiet and removes himself from whatever situation is driving him mad. Zigoga is very curious and questions everything, from why the sun always rises from the same side of the sky even though it sets in the opposite, to why the Sith hate the Jedi so much. He is also constantly at odds with himself in terms of loyalty. He has a very strong sense of family - even though his is kind of messed up - but at the same time that self preservation instinct is always pushing him to go away from those who could bring harm to him.

I have come for the cookies! Name: Kuchinja Meaning: "To slaughter" in Swahili What are his thoughts on his father?: Kuchinja can't quite decide what to think of his father. On one hand, he gave him life and allowed him to live, but on the other hand, he can be pretty damn frightening. He's torn between respecting and fearing the lion. He doesn't like his father but he loves him because he is his father, and other such conflicting feelings. What are his thoughts on his brother?: He doesn't think about his brother much unless they are forced to interact, like during a family meeting or something similar. He didn't feel encouraged to form a bond with him and he seems to be more interested in Rakshasa anyway, so he is content to leave Noita to his own devices. Unless, of course, Noita decides to make him his business. Then Kuchinja might have some unpleasant words for him. Would he consider joining the Jedi?: Yes Why?: Simply to get away from his father and the confusion he creates inside of him. It wouldn't be a noble gesture of any kind, just an attempt to flee the Sith. Though the thought of balance may soothe him after his unbalanced feelings. Personality: Kuchinja seems to have inherited all the anger contained in his father, but in him it is a slow burn. He is a silent, brooding and pessimistic lion with a permanent scowl on his face. His anger doesn't come out in bursts but in trickles of cruelty and manipulation. A claw bared there, a sharp word here... it's all subtle ways to show how displeased he is with just about everything. While he is capable of compassion and contentment, it has all but been stomped out through a combination of his father's and the Sith's teachings. On the inside, he wishes for some kind of stability, but on the outside, he is completely self-assured.

align=center]I have come for the cookies! Name: Niddhogr Meaning: dreaded striker; the dragon gnawing the roots of the tree Yggdrasil
What are his thoughts on his father?: HA HA HA he thinks his father's an idiot and a weakling. The guy thinks his father grates on his nerves, and he will NOT let him control him. What are his thoughts on his brother?: Actually hates his brother too. His brother's an idiot and hangs around a weakling? No. No bruh., ******** you bruh you shame him. You thus don't exist. Insert raging cub here. Would he consider joining the Jedi?: AND ******** THESE GUYS TOO. Why?: Again... Nidhoggr sees them as weaklings in need of being trounced. He has no patience for their weak assed s**t. I'm not against a really, really, REALLY good plot but otherwise, A-NOPE. Personality: Nidhoggr is a little a*****e. He hates the family he knows and he hates everyone he considers weaker. Which.. Unless you swear fifty kinds of loyalty to him is nearly everyone;. Father chooses a mate? YOUR WIFFE IS s**t DAD. He gets siblings? JOIN ME OR YOU ALL ARE s**t.
In other words his attitude is really bad, he has no problems throwing profanity everywhere, and he's a petty, angry, vindictive little shitlord. Not that he's incapable of friendship, but it takes a lot of effort. He would really like to own as much as he can and will isolate himself from most when able, usually with anybody he wants to keep close.
Mostly, though, he's a loud mouth who has no problems ambushing anyone and generally being a mean little a*****e.

I have come for the cookies! Name: Njal Meaning: champion in Norwegian What are his thoughts on his father?: Njal steps lightly around Luka. He respects his strength, but is fully aware of his father's volatile temper. One day he'll be stronger than the old man, and suspects that when that time comes the lion will have outlived his usefulness; until then, he tries to stay in his good books so as to benefit from his connections around the pride. What are his thoughts on his brother?: He prefers Noita's company to his father's, mostly because the former is less of a threat. It's easy for Njal to adapt his brothers attitude toward others when they are together, although he doesn't necessarily keep it outside of Noita's earshot. He objects to his brother's relationship with Rakshasa, although at the moment he wouldn't dare say it to his face. His objection is mostly to the principle of the relationship anyway, as Njal objects to his brother putting so much energy into something that will not directly benefit the Nguvu. He would not yet ostracize Noita for the friendship, does not seem to mind hanging out with Rakshasa, and still gladly councils his brother about the sador if asked. Would he consider joining the Jedi?: Yes Why?: Njal likes to keep his options open, and it's not like him to close off the Jedi as an possible advantage simply because he's been told disparaging things about them all his life. If the Jedi give him a chance to gain power over his brother and his father, he has no problem jumping ship. His opinion of the rival pride will be further influenced by interactions with other members. Personality: Njal is an opportunist, taught by his father's lack of patience and the pride itself that the ability to outlast a vengeful opponent can be more powerful than rage. He's not as skilled at manipulation as his father or dear brother, but he has learned enough to show a different face when necessary: the Njal his brother sees may be quite different to the smile shown to a rogue or the Sith that meets a Jedi. He carries the same towering anger inside him as they do, although his has a much longer fuse. Njal prefers to wait until his attacks would cause the most devastation before delivery. He's not afraid to get his claws dirty, and actually prefers to be the one to commit his own atrocities when the need arises. Not out of any enjoyment of brutal acts, but because then he's certain that the deeds are done. When it comes down to it, Njal is practical over anything else, and isn't really one to allow emotions to overwhelm what he feels is the most efficient or beneficial choice. This means, although he tries his best to hide it, that he is no stranger to the idea of betraying his loved ones if it turns out well for him in the end. Similarly, he's not one to hold a grudge for advantage taken against him, as he will have no choice but to respect the attempt as long as it was executed well.

Siiiiiith!!!! One of my fav prides! heart -Doesn't even try to resist- I have come for the cookies! Name: Nishût Meaning: n/a random Sith name What are his thoughts on his father?: "It's complicated" pretty much sums up the whole of his relationship with both his father and brother. While the family trait is strong in him, he has an unexpected and deeply ingrained loyalty to his family. When it comes to his father, Nishût hates the big male almost as much as he is desperate to make him proud. This duality is a constant source of worry for the young male which only makes his short temper even shorter as he battles against self-doubt even as he over-achieves in his effort to please his father. What are his thoughts on his brother?: As the eldest, Nishût thinks that his younger brother should look up to him, but at the same time, his own self-doubt makes him question why his brother would ever look to him for anything. This makes their relationship both fractious and fairly explosive in a family atmosphere that is already unhealthy and poisonous. Despite his ingrained loyalty, he is extremely jealous of his brother's relationship with the sador youth. As of yet, Nishût hasn't quite worked out why he feels this way, but seeing them interact drives him insane. Not that he would ever let on that he possesses such a shameful weakness. Would he consider joining the Jedi?: Absolutely not. While he may hate his family he hates those weakling goody-two-shoes even more. Why?: Brought up to see the Jedi as the enemy, he would never consider betraying his family and his pride to go join them. His complete loyalty to both would never permit such an act. Personality: While he appears to be just as angry, temperamental and cold hearted as his father and brother, the truth is that he feels too many emotions, too deeply. Both anger and pain, as well as love and loyalty. This produces a battle within him that drives him to constantly struggle to figure himself out. This translates into a confused and hurting youth who uses anger to lash out at the world he can not understand. While not at all naive enough to want his father's love, he does hold a desperate hope to earn the big lion's acceptance and pride.
