Setting
The game is taking place in the central pride lands. The Medical Quarters, Archives, Council, Old Palace and Dens are all off limits out of respect: you will be herded out of those areas if you stray, any attendants or residents will be expecting unruly behavior from any hunters.
The Hongshan Quarter is the only residential area in play, thanks to cooperation from Nawvlee and the other Hongshan.
How to Play
Locations are determined by 1d50 1-10 - Sandstorm Refuge 11-20 - Hongshan Quarter 21-30 - Pridal Oasis 31-40 - Training Grounds 41-50 - Barracks
Every day, each character participating will randomize one number from 1-50. This number will tell you where in the desert they are currently hunting for Agni-pariksha.
To find Agni-pariksha, you must match her randomized number exactly! This will change daily, her location is not fixed.
If you've found Agni-pariksha Randomize another number between 1-50, quote Ecavi. Ecavi will randomize another number for Agni-pariksha. Highest number wins! If Agni wins, she escapes. If the seeker wins, she is caught. Agni-pariksha wins all ties, she escapes unless you beat her. Successful seekers will be sent back to the Sandstorm Refuge to wait with Agni's brother and brag about their successes. They're done once they've caught her.
The Basics Each character gets one roll per day. You may enter multiple characters but must fill in your previous character's roll with an RP post before rolling a second character. Each new day will officially start with a roll for Agni-pariksha. This will be done around 05:00EST.
Special
Characters may work in teams, if they're willing to share the glory! Each member of the team gets a roll, allowing the team to cover more ground in a day and giving everybody more interactions to RP from. There is no penalty for working as a team! Teamwork is important in an army! If a team finds Agni-pariksha, each teammate gets a shot at catching her. Roll and quote one at a time, waiting for a reply between teammate rolls.
Each team should have a memberlist in every post they make (to help us all keep track of who is working in which group). Adjust for splitting up or picking up loners as necessary.
A team is significantly more likely to succeed but but doesn't make the same impression as a loner who succeeds. Both team or solo are presented as equal options, and there is no indication that Agni-pariksha will look on either more favorably-- it is up to the individual Firekin to decide for themselves what they think looks better and works better for them.
RP Requirements
If you do not fill in your posts with an RP blurb, your roll does not count.
Please fill in each post before making the next.
You can enter as many or as few of your Firekin as you can handle. They can play for fun or glory. There can be many IC winners so there is no need of a character limit. Just remember that this is supposed to be an RP as well!
Other
You can post as often as you like every day, but your character only gets one roll per day. If you end up in the Hongshan Quarter, you can spend the day chatting up whoever else happens to be there if you like! If you're in the Sandstorm Refuge, you can harass our lovely MC/Agni-pariksha's brother for fun or hints (even though he won't reply). You can interrogate sparring partners in the Training Grounds. Whatever, go nuts.

Ud peered around the oasis with a little frown. This hunting game would surely put him in good favor for when he grew up, but he wasn't sure exactly how. Still, ever eager to make a name for himself, Ud had thrown himself into the task gamely. He figured the oasis was a good place to start so he could grab a drink before heading on, but perhaps it was also the place where Agni-pariksha would be hiding herself. If it were him, he'd certainly be camping out here!
Rather than finding the dark red female, though, he found another male who was tucked under one of the few scraggly trees that dotted the Firekin lands, especially by their water source. He approached him with a tilted head before realizing it was Agni-pariksha's father. That was why they looked so similar.
"Oh...hello," he said with a little bob of his head in greeting. "I don't suppose you could point me in the direction of your daughter, could you?"

Urit'alya was always looking forward to a chance to prove herself, so when it had been announced that the regent was holding an event she was quick to jump to the opportunity. Sure, this opportunity might have been viewed as a game that children play but hey, an opening was an opening.
The soldier found herself in the sandstorm refuge where the games had been announced poking around the caverns, but to no avail. The area of play was large and there was a good number of other participants. She toyed with the idea of bringing a team together. The pride had many war-oriented lions and grouping up didn't seem in any way out of the pride's ways.
There was nothing here, Alya concluded. Well, nothing but other participants. The lioness found herself suddenly in relatively close proximity with another lion as she moved out of a cavern. Her steps stopped and she blinked. "Greetings," she murmured at Menkar, stepping a comfortable distance away. She gave a sideways glancing motion to the cluster of rocks she had emerged from. "There's nothing back there. Just checked," she continued, assuming the other lion was also part of this search.
(Team: None)
( I'd like a ticket, please! c: )
