Jung-Su nervously meandered into the arena once again after getting C a necessary check up. Although C didn't take any damage, Jung thought it best to look at his pokemon's stats just to be sure. By a stroke of luck, for better or for worse, the lad had somehow made it to the next round. To be fair he hadn't done much to get here due to Elijah's situation, he had made it to the second round nonetheless. The brown eyed boy had felt bad about moving up since he did not earn his spot here like the others did, but it was too late to turn back now. The opponent before him this time was a green haired lass by the name of Iris. Judging from the match the girl had fought, he had seen and researched the moves her duck pokemon had used during the intermission. Still, it didn't help his confidence any. He didn't know if he stood a chance against her though he was leaning more towards him losing. Sensing the distraught feelings Jung-Su was displaying on his mien, C who had let himself out of his Pokeball due to excitement, stretched the lad's cheeks as far as his little arms could pulls. This unexpected aching of his cheeks had snapped the lad back to a neutral viewpoint. Time and again the bell pokemon saved him from himself, although he wished C could be gentler about it. He wondered if strangers would wonder who was training whom at times. Now back to the task at hand, Jung-Su faced the girl. "L-Let's d-do our best-t-t!" Still couldn't shake off that stutter...

Iris smiled when her pokemon was returned to her. The Nurse Joy was really nice and she told Iris good luck in her next battle. Iris nodded her head. All this praise was really making her stay pink. As she nuzzled her pokeball, Marco appeared next to her back as he was putting in his Charmander. Iris waved to Marco meekly. "Congrats on your battle." She said, "It was really tough. Good luck in your next battle. Maybe you'll even get to face off against me. Maybe." she said just as the new lineup was annouced. "Jung-su?" Iris tilted her head at the name.. "Oh another flygon member cool! First holly and now Jung-Su!" Iris looked at Marco as she patted his shoulder. "See ya next round. I hope for both of us." She gave a grin before she left to get to her battle. When she left, she could hear some groan but didn't know the reason why as she was missing the capture scenes of Silvano's abuse to Zubat. Iris was oblivious but Marco wasn't...
Whether Iris was on time or late, Jung-Su was there waiting for her as the battle announcement went out to begin. Iris brought out Ling, who appeared out of her pokeball poised and ready for the battle and cheering fans. Jung-Su stuttered a 'let's do our best'. That made Iris nod her head in agreement. "Nothing but the best" Iris cheered as she pumped her fist.
the coin flip was completed and it was decided that Iris and Ling would go first. Iris cheered a little since last time she went second. Iris looked from Ling to stare at Jung-Su and his pokemon. She had not seen his battle so she didn't have anything to go on in regards to how he battled and what moves the pokemon knew. Meanwhile, she could make the assumption that because her battle was finished early on, there were recaps of her and Ling. That should have made her worry. Instead, it made her excited. Someone had watched her battle and was now up against her in battle. "Ling, " she said to her pokemon. "We're going to show them how we battle. Are you ready?" The ducklett looked Iris before nodding her head. Seeing that made Iris grin.
"Alright then," Iris stretched out her hand, uncharacteristically drawing attention to herself. As if she was commanding the battle from the start. -In a way she was but that was only because she had the first move- "Ling, use Water Pulse."
Ducklett bent low to the ground and started to flap her wings, her body was encased in a battle aura around her. Water appeared and swirled around her her as it collected into an orb around her bill. When the orb was big enough, it was released from Ling's possession and launched alongside small waves of water rushing towards Jung-Su's Chingling.
Iris was interiorly crossing her fingers for the move to hit and for the secondary effect to happen. After all, she didn't know what the Chingling and the boy had in store for her, so wanted to get as much done to give her a chance to win.

Iris and her Duckett started the battle hot or rather wet with a water pulse attack. Jung-Su had known that the move would not be too damaging considering the typings involved, but he had feared for the secondary effect of confusion that came along with the move. A water orb followed by a slew of water ripples were beautifully headed towards the levitating C at full speed. Too late to issue a dodge, the lad had to think of a counter measure. "S-Shake it off C!" He tried as hard as he could to shake off his stuttering, his failed attempt at false confidence during his command giving. Unfortunately for the lads, not only did C receive a direct attack, he had received a bout of confusion as well! Disproportional arms latching onto his overly large bell head, the confused Chingling floated about in a panic grasping at straws for a calmer mind. The lad himself was starting to find himself in the same predicament, but he would not let it get to much... much! "C!! C-C-Calm down!" Would his voice reach his Pokemon? He had to try, for both himself and for his poor chiming friend. The poor lad's words fell short and unheard. The stubby limbed bell moved about the field in a panic so much so that he could no longer tell up from down. The Chingling, spinning around in confusion, banged his head onto the ground. Worst came to worst as it did not seem like the action shook him out of confusion.

Iris watched as Jung-Su tried to have his chingling dodge the move but failed to do so.The little bell like pokemon was caught up in the swirls and waves of water. The end result of it was the telltale signs of the confusion status. Swirling eyes and the pokemon swaying from side to side as if intoxicated. First levitating off the ground before slowly touching the ground in a daze. Iris wondered how it felt to be confused. Her attention moved from the afflicted pokemon to its trainer. Jung-Su looked unsure about how to handle the current situation and he called out for his pokemon to calm down. Seem like the only thing that it made the pokemon do was hit itself on the ground before it could use an attack. Iris was starting to feel a little bad for him.
Suddenly Iris jolted up when Ling quacked loudly to her. That's right, she's still in the middle of a battle. She didn't have the luxury or time to feel for the trainer. What if that made people question who she was a trainer if she was bleeding heart for a trainer that panicked during a battle. "Okay Ling," Iris said as she patted her cheek as if to wake up. "I'm hearing you. I have to focus. Let's use Water Pulse again."
Ling used the water pulse attack once more. Another swirl of dizzying water waves headed towards the already confused pokemon. "Let's keep up the momentum if we want to make it to the final battle and win this."

C had almost stopped the momentum of being spun round and round from the first swirling bodies of water only to receive a second serving of this much unwanted unavoidable swirly water ball right after the fact. The lad clutched at his chest; his pulse unwantingly quickened panicking due to the lack of ability to take control of the situation, something that he felt envious that his opponent had in spades. I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... A chant he promised he'd no longer do had begun to violently resurface in his psyche. Were all of his future battles going to be this mentally straining on him? To make matters worse, the lad's ears had begun to focus on the murmurs of the crowd around the stadium which grew more and more vocal and heard by him. Just as he was going to let himself slip into complete panic and despair, an annoyed, incessant set of chiming sounds coming from the battlefield had snapped him right out of it.
Directing his vision to where the chimes were coming from, the brown eyed boy could see an extremely miffed Chingling floatingly bouncing about, seemingly looking like he was no longer confused. C had boldly turned his back to the rival Ducklett to lecture the poor lad not only on his poor battle form( not that he was one to talk) but on the humiliation of being spun about and wanting to get back at it stat. "O-Okay... S-Sorry... C, u-u-use confusion on the Ducklett!?" Though the berating had taken effect, the lad had not yet fully recovered from former mental state but he was slowly being dragged out of his negativity by C whether he liked it or not. Really, who was training who?
C nodded and his eyes began to glow an eerie blue hue as Ling was being engulfed by the same glow around herself. When the duck was completely encased in the energy, the Chingling had the bird rapidly spun around in place before slamming her down to the ground.

As the match was progressing, Iris was suddenly having a weird feeling in her stomach. Sure, Ling's water pulse hit her target which was the already confused Chingling. She was definitely proud of her pokemon for that move. However looking at Jung-Su reaction to his pokemon's turmoil started to make her feel sick in her stomach. He looked so panicked as he seemed to be trying to figure out how to handle the situation that she put him and his pokemon in. It was Ling's attack but it was at Iris' own command that brought the other two into their current situation. She was starting to understand the feeling.
Guilt.
Iris' breathing started to pick up that even Ling had noticed the drop in confidence in her trainer. However, she was not the only pokemon having to deal with their trainer as Chingling came out of their confusion and directed their attention to Jung-Su. Iris was still trying to get herself back in order with Ling still making the mistake of focusing on Iris instead of her opponent. Ling was quickly remedied of that when Chingling used confusion on the ducklett. Ling reacted in shock as she was lifted from the ground involuntarily. Even when she flipped her own wings, the movement didn't change as Chingling controlled her. Iris was also shocked out her moment as she watched Ling get slammed onto the ground.
Iris watched as Ling got up and shook herself. She was now covered in dirt from the battlefield. "I'm sorry Ling," Iris said as she slapped her cheeks. "Let's return the favor with water-" Iris was about to announced around water pulse when Ling quacked as if to say no. "No water pulse...Okay then. Use Wing Attack."
Ling was more than pleased to do so as her wing started to shimmer in that blue light like in the last battle. The ducklett charged the Chingling, slapping the bell pokemon with her wings multiple times. It seemed like each slap was a retort to being slammed into the ground, floating in the air without her control and worse of all: Getting her feather dirty.

C puffed his chest proudly, hands on where you would suppose his hips would be as Ling emerged covered in dirt quite satisfied with his attack, even letting out an arrogant chime. His attitude changed to a shocked one as soon as the Duckett came straight at him, wings a glowing and prepared to slap. C could be wrong but the wing pounding the Chingling was dully receiving seemed to have come from a place of anger, that which pleased him in knowing that he was able to ruffle her feathers. C took the beating in stride, knowing that the lad would be unable to say anything while he was in the condition he was in. The Pokemon while still feeling a mix of anger and haughtiness about the position Jung-Su had put him in, he felt bad for him as it was originally the bell's idea to enter this tournament. Too late for the chime to do anything about as they were well into the middle of this.
Jung-Su was still writhing trying to take control of himself. He didn't want to let his weakness to take over or at least more than this. Fighting between himself and his words, he was finally able to utter something of use to C. "S-S-Sorry! U-Use Asto-tonish!" The lad knew that his Chingling didn't have any typing advantage moves, so he thought that maybe scaring her would be the best option. Though unsure this was all he was able to deduce in his condition. Chingling made a horrible noise which released multiple red waves of energy from the floating bell's mouth that were aiming straight for the Ducklett's sounds receptacles.

Ling looked and felt proud of herself after the wing attack did its damage. She had let out her frustration, got her wings cleaned from hitting them against the other pokemon. Above all, she got back at the Chingling and showed off her power physically in one move. After all, she was a package deal. Ling sent the bell pokemon back in the other direction before she looked at Iris. Iris was taking the battle, definitely, better than Jung-Su was currently. Sure she had a confused look on her face but at the very least, she didn't look like she was going faint from shock like the boy was. Iris was clapping her hands for Ling before she pointed to the Chingling. Ling turned to her opponent just in time to be hit the red waves and that god awful sound that emitted from it. "Ling!" Iris called out to her pokemon as Ling covered her head with her wing to stop hearing that annoying chiming in her head. Or at the very least muffle the noise. "Ling! Are you okay?" Iris asked once more. It seemed like the ducklett was ignoring her as the pokemon remained with her wings and feather covering up and blocking the way for Iris to be heard.
Iris sucked at her teeth with a sharp intake of air. Ling can't attack with the way she was at the moment which meant that Jung-Su and Chingling were able to make an attack since their opponent was otherwise distracted.

Eyes closed. Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Focus on the sound of my breathing... Something as simple as repeating these small actions were gradually helping Jung-Su compose himself. I can do this... I can do this... When the lad had focused his attention back to the field, he had noticed that the astonish attack he had just instructed his Chingling to do had hindered the Ducklett so much so that she stayed in place ignoring her trainer's voice and grasping at her head for an attempt at peace and quiet. It was unfortunate for the blue bird that C would see to it that she would hear no such relief.
Be it due to all the adrenaline the battle had given the chiming Pokemon or just the personality of the Pokemon, C was relishing the match. Perhaps overly so. This had gone unnoticed by the panicked boy as he felt too preoccupied fighting a battle of his own withing himself and facing the crowd itself. He didn't enjoy that all eye were on him. That's to be expected when entering any tournament. In fact he feared it. He wasn't used to it but the one solution he could think of to get used to it was to expose himself to this fear. And he was... slowly and gradually.
When the C had finished conducting his cacophonous chimes, he had alertly chimed at the boy to give him his next set of instructions. Moments of mental chants and deep breathing later, he was able to utter "A-Ano-nother A-Asto-tonish!" A frighteningly satisfied smile emerged on the bell's mien. He was more than happy to oblige this second act of his one Pokemon orchestra. The Chingling repeated his horrendous chimes releasing another set of red energy waves at the poor ducklett.

Please edit your post so that it is not the exact same post as your previous battle post. You have acknowledge Iris's battle post, you cannot ignore it and post the same thing. So please fix this (do not delete this post or roll again), all you have to do is edit it so that it is not the same post as your previous battle post. You cannot change the attack either. Astonish was used.

Ling looked around as the ringing started to fade out from her body. She could actually hear Iris calling out for her finally as well as the crowd as they looked onward at her. Ling turned her head to look at Iris, a very relieved girl as the expression of thankfulness was all over her face. "You're okay," Iris said her hand over her chest. "We're not going to go down easy are we Ling?" Ling blinked and then nodded her head. "Right." Iris said, "Let's show them that." Iris pointed to the other two. Ling looked forward just in time to hear Jung-Su have Chingling use another Astonish attack. The horrid sound rang once more from the Chingling towards Ling. The moment Ling heard the command for a Water Pulse, she gave the same like of frightening aura as the Chingling did. It seemed like the universe decided that it was her turn to show Chingling how to do a move right. Well, Ling didn't waste any time as the water orb and the waves of water honed in on Chingling.

This was tough to decide after initially taking note that both of the pokemon's natures support them with strong defenses, so it really came down to the brute force thrown down during this battle.
A breakdown of the moves used is: Duckett: 3 Water Pulses (one caused confusion) and 1 Wing attack
Chingling: 1 Confusion (did not confuse) and 2 Astonishes (one flinch one not flinch)
In the beginning of the battle Ducklett had successfully confused Chingling so his first move could not be as a result of not snapping out of it til his second turn.
Clingling has some really strong special attack, but he only used one special attack in confusion and astonish is a weak attack on its own and added with his nature it would have been even weaker.
Overall, Ducklett was able to take over this round with a strong string of attacks.

Ling looked at the dizzy and confused Chingling as it stumbled around like it did after her first attack. The one wasn't cocky anyone now was it. Ling chuckled to herself inwardly at the new predictament that the bell pokemon was in.Served it right from dirtying up her feathers and ringing with that awful sounds. Ling looked at Iris for the next attack since it seemed like her opponent was 'occupied' already.
"How about a water pulse so we can end this battle in some style?" Iris said thinking to herself how she could use this move in coordination class. "Use Water Pulse and make it pretty..prettier"
Ling agreed as this time, she flapped her wings to get her some lift off the ground as the orb was starting to form. Due to that difference in distance, the water was spiraling under Ling and collecting over her head and bill It was definitely a different sight from the water pulse of this battle. The orb shot off with the wave to swirl around the Chingling in a vortex before the pokemon washed up at his trainer's feet.
