I really do.

Vegans don't each cheese. Good vegan "cheese" is made of cashews. I've never had it but I heard it was delicious.

I saw this recipe for vegan mac and cheese with a thai style cashew cheese sauce.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO

That puts me off so much.

Call it Noodles with Thai style cashew peanut sauce

THAT SOUNDS YUMMY.

I've always wondered how they compare cashews to cheese.

They taste nothing alike.

It's apparently more of a texture thing? It has the same consistency. My friend made it because her son really wanted mac and cheese but he can't eat dairy at all. She says its good but doesn't taste like cheese. But it's still a better option than "cheeze" which is apparently the devil's s**t.
