Heart in my hand. As well as a skull fragment and a bit of brain. Guy got hit by a semi and...well...Let's just say he lost that battle and it wasn't pretty. He was all sorts of beat up, and when we first rolled up I couldn't tell one end from the other.

m4r1p0s4 okay, why did this happen? what is your profession?? Why did the guy get hit or why did I pick up pieces of him? I'm a volunteer firefighter/EMT at my local fire department as well as an EMT at an ambulance company.

Your job is everything I couldn't do, Wolf. Haha Not just because of the blood and gore, but because I know that I would totally slip into a massive ******** of existential crisis holding something like somebody's heart or brain, thinking about how that's all we really are -- parts without purpose. I'd probably need some hardcore therapy after that. lol

Yeah, I was hoping that we would be lucky and that he would somehow survive. That maybe he would just be really beat up but still breathing. Then I saw the mangled lump of a body and wrnt, "nope. He's definitely dead. Get me a coroner." But, I did enjoy getting to see all the cool parts. Never thought I'd get to see it.

I'd probably need some hardcore therapy after that. lol That never even entered my mind. I was just fascinated on how the heart was still in one piece. Like, it looked like someone harvested it to be examined and studied. I remember thinking about how I HAD to be the one to get the heart so I can see how it feels to have a heart in hand.
