Personality: To say Nyota has changed since his cubhood days is a gross understatement. He is far from the cruel, insane demon he once was. He even looks on his past actions with something akin to regret. He still believes in his pride, and if anything his actions have swayed him away from his former dedication to Morifaer and closer to his grandfather's side. He has calmed down quite a bit and became a mild recluse. He generally prefers to keep to himself, although being a father has helped him to open up a bit. He's not about to go spilling his darkest secrets to the entire pride, but he's willing to show a little bit of affection to those closest to him.

Personality: Uziwa's parents raised him to have a healthy respect for nature, and that's something he's never forgotten. He is not above just jumping in the mud for the sake of feeling it between his toes, or sticking his head in the river to see what life as a fish might be like. The only thing he loves more than nature is the idea of having a family. He's fathered a couple pups in his time, pups that he loves dearly, but he would love to settle down with a mate even if that seems like it's still a good distance in his future still.
History: Uziwa was born to a couple who had a healthy respect for nature and all its wonders, along with his four siblings. They raised the litter to have the same respect for nature, but Uziwa was the only one who truly took the idea to heart. Even as a pup, his love of nature and curiosity about what was what got him into big trouble. His parents had to rescue him from moody "victims" of his curiosity quite often, but he never really let it get in his way.
As a juvenile, his curiosity only got stronger. It wasn't uncommon for him to wander off and be gone all day, and then to return covered in mud or soaking wet with a big grin plastered on his muzzle. It was then that he also learned of the existence of Gods and Goddesses. Sometimes, during the night and when the moon was high in the sky, he'd sneak away from the den to make "offerings" for all the deities of the universe. This habit is something that still remains with him.
Once Uziwa and his littermates reached adolescence, their parents decided it was time for them to venture off on their own. And so, Uziwa bid farewell to his family, and began to wander. He is determined to find out everything he can about the world around him, even now.

Personality: Although he mostly takes after his cheetah brethren in build, Samawi's mindset is that of a lion. He doesn't like being alone, but as he grew older he began to wander. He's always been a deep thinker, and spent a good deal of time searching for his place in the world and pondering just how he fit into the grand scheme of things. While he has settled rather well into the position of an Ofanim, he still dedicates a good deal of his time to consider the bigger questions in life. Personality: Múscail is a gentle but slightly mischievous lioness. Her one true flaw is that she has a habit of caring about others too much. She doesn't have a single deceptive bone in her body, which is ironic as her uncle was the God of Deception. She tries her hardest to be completely open and genuine with others, although there is often a playful twist to her honesty. She is still somewhat childish at heart but she is tempered by her twin sister, her mate, and her experience as a mother. She holds her family in high regards and would do anything to keep them safe and happy.
History: Múscail and Codail were brought up in a very traditional pride, along with their sister Kianga. Many females, but only a single male. Though they did care for their brighter sister, the paler pair were always closer to one another - practically twins in all but the colors of their markings. It was there they gained the basis of who they were. They learned to be polite, and the basics of etiquette. The two sisters never felt they belonged, though, and when they were adults a great plague swept the lands. Luckily, the sisters had been warned in a vision of the plague to come and fled the lands before it had begun. Kianga and the twins each took separate paths. Kianga's seer abilities had never been strong, but Múscail's and Codail's drew them north, to a forested place.
They found their sense of belonging in a strange pride, known as the Coileání Draíochta. They followed a single pair of gods, one male and one female with three 'selves'. Suitor, Father, and Wise One were the selves of 'Father Earth'; Maiden, Mother, and Crone were the selves of 'Mother Moon'. There were other gods to them, but they mainly followed those two. And there were three pairs who led the pride, as Priests and Priestesses of those 'selves'.
As seers, the sisters were valued, and eventually brought into leadership positions. First Codail was Maiden, then Mother once she and her Suitor had cubs together. Múscail took her place as Maiden, and all was well for the pair. But tragedy struck them again, starting with Múscail's dreams of water and sickness, different from the plague they'd outrun. And the rains came to the pride, as they always did. But this time they did not stop. For a week, it rained heavily non-stop and the river and streams that ran through the pride's territory flooded, unable to compensate for all the extra water.
Many adults perished, despite Múscail's warnings. The pride had not thought such a thing would happen, that the Mother and Father would protect them. They had forgotten their first knowledge about the god and goddess. They often let their children learn on their own.
As if it wasn't enough, not all the floodwater receded. The warm season came, and the water turned fetid and still, bringing the second part of Múscail's dreams. The first to fall to this new sickness were the old, as well as Codail's mate and Múscail's Suitor, who had been injured as it was by the flood. Fearing for their lives and the lives of Codail's cubs, the sisters fled again, south and away from the sick waters. Múscail and Codail survived the trip... Codail's cubs did not. They each fell to the sickness they carried as they journeyed.
Uncertain what to do, and burdened by sadness, the pair traveled where their dreams took them until the earthquake struck while they were separated for a hunt, and the two lost each other.
Múscail traveled on her own, guided only by her visions. It was these visions that let her to the Dawnwalkers. While she was in these lands she met a lion name Unguzo, who forcefully mated and impregnated her. She stayed only long enough to give birth to her cubs, and then attempted to flee north and forever leave Unguzo behind her.
Unguzo intercepted her attempt, and stole away three of her newly born cubs. Múscail managed to flee with the remaining four, and found herself on the border of the Pridelands, near the Umande'mfuni. She was aided in hunting and regaining her strength by a lion of the Pridelands that she eventually grew fond of. But he made a mistake, thinking it was for the best, and Múscail left, healed and strong again.
Soon after, the sisters met up again, though both were very different... And Codail had nine cubs with her to add to Múscail's four. The sister's rejoiced at the reunion, and even briefly took in a young lioness by the name of Esu'me Kibou who was attempting to outrun a cruel arranged mate. They stayed together for a while before finally splitting up when the sisters joined the Umande'mfuni. But their stay in those lands didn't last long. Unrest had begun to stir among the old pride members, and the visions came back, still showing a land of mists that the sisters felt drawn to.
They learned of an impending pridal split, and decided to join the rather large group of lions who began to travel to new lands with the intent of reviving the old ways. In the end, they arrived in the lands of their visions, along with the Pridelander who'd helped Múscail recover from her tragedy and an old member of the Coileání Draíochta.

Personality: It takes a lot to get Ia'eh to trust anyone outside of her family. While she is perfectly capable of being polite with strangers, an event that happened to her as a cub has left her with a lasting mistrust of anyone unfamiliar. She is extremely overprotective of her entire family, and will do virtually anyone to make sure no harm comes to them. Once she warms up to someone, she opens herself up to be the sweet lioness she is at her very core. She often worries a bit to much about the future of her family, but she does her best not to let this show.
History: Ia'eh was the result of a not-so-loving fling between a crazed lion obsessed with reviving his long dead pride, and one of the daughters of the Goddess of Truth. While she was born in the Tuait'tekem lands, she didn't remain there long. Her mother feared what her father would do when he discovered her and the litter of cubs, and attempted to flee the lands as soon as the cubs were old enough. But Unguzo, her father, found them and cubnapped two of her six siblings. (One of her brothers ended up wandering after Unguzo. She is still of the belief he was cubnapped as well.)
As young as she was then, she still remembers the event with startling clarity. Her mother managed to get her and the rest of her siblings to the Pridelands, where they stayed for a while to give them time to recover. When her mother met Tama, Ia'eh's first reaction was distrust. To her, any male larger than her young brothers was a cub stealer. While she was quick to defend both her siblings and her mother, the white lion eventually grew on her.
Secretly, she was sad when they left for the Umande'mfuni. Although meeting Esu'me and her aunt Codail did rekindle some of her ability to trust others. Eventually, her mother's visions returned and they were moved once again, this time to the Mizuka'nyevu. While on their way there, they reunited with Tama and his ward. Naturally, Ia'eh's first response was to chew his ear out for breaking her mother's heart, and to warn him against doing it again.
Since then, she's settled into the Mizuka'nyevu and taken on the rank of a Ghost in order to ensure no one dangerous to her brothers entered the pride.
