ASPIRATIONS/PERSONALITY/BIO

Aspirations: Bushi mostly wants to make sure that he is never alone again and never stuck on the streets again. He is going to focus on making sure that his business continues to grow, as well as work on gathering more contacts as well. Things will get quite interesting for the business minded man when Pahana comes into the picture though, giving him things that he never even dreamed of like a family.

Personality: At first glance Bushi might look like an intimidating sort of guy given his build, his size, and various other aspects of him like his tattoos and piercings. In all actuality though, despite looking like the sort that might be off getting in fights a lot he's actually a even minded and laid back sort of man. He can't let his emotions get the better of him and still run a successful business after all. He has to consider long and hard everything that he does from the contacts he makes, the clients he takes on, and those that he buys goods from. He has the look of a brute but he's actually a lot smarter then he appears at first glance.

For the most part Bushi is actually a rather laid back sort of guy, the sort that is often seen either lazing about when he isn't working or laughing it up with his friends and family. Despite working a less then scrupulous job it hasn't made him instantly a 'villain' sort, he's still a pretty good guy. At the same time, Bushi is well aware that some of the things that end up in his hands might have been taken from his own people but that isn't about to stop him from making a profit. He will likely be the sort to use the expression 'it's just business' when dealing with such situations.

That isn't to say that he won't defend himself in the need for such a thing arises though. If pushed or threatened he will fight back, be it to protect himself, those he cares about, or his goods with either blade or fist. He'd much rather just rather talk his way out of such situations if at all possible though, that or just use his appearance as an intimidating deterrent. The thing is if he were to choose he would much rather concentrate on his business instead of getting into random fights.

Bio: Eadenur, or Bushi as he would later come to call himself, was an orphan, with no family that he could recall or speak of. What might have happened to them is anyone's guess, not something he knew nor did those in charge of the orphanage he lived for the first part of his life. After reaching a certain age he was tossed out of the orphanage as the space he took up was needed for others much younger. From there he ended up living on the streets, doing what he needed to do to survive, and was something that caused him to end up with his less then straight moral compass.

He has since made his own 'family' that consists of others like him, those that he ran with when he was younger, those he works with currently, and those that deals with when he returns to Oba. As if to make sure that he didn't have to run the risk of being alone again as he was when he was a child he ended up with a whole network of people that he he keeps in contact with. Despite having a lot of various friends spread through out the various cities in Oba he had yet to actually find someone that he liked seriously. Instead seeming to be completely focused instead of work, wanting to go from being nobody to being someone important.

Bushi started out as a street runner and a thief himself, along with some of his friends, but it wasn't something he seemed to excel at. The job wasn't for everyone but in the process he did learn that he had a knack for selling what his friends gathered, something that led to him ending up as a fence for the group instead of a thief. In taking on that job he ended up with quite a few contacts around Oba, learning the preferences of his buyers, and he will get in contact with them if he finds a piece he thinks a person might enjoy. His job has allowed him to make a good deal of money, though despite having that money he doesn't show it off. Given the job that he works he knows well that those who flaunt their wealth end up getting stolen from. He'd rather keep such people on his side instead of turning them against him.

As such he lives comfortably, in a small place of his own in a small city in Oba, though he doesn't spend a lot of time there. Despite his love of lazing about he seems to be on the road more often then he is at home. It will be in his travels that he meets someone who will end up causing his business first life to end up getting greatly shaken up.

~ A bit, buff bandit type from Amat in Oba, Eadenur, also know as Bushi, fancies himself a business man of sorts. He can often be seen buying and selling with various people, not always the most reputable, and get chased about by certain guards that thinks he's up to something. Thus far he's avoided arrest though, by the grace of the various Gods and Goddesses, and is on his way North into Tale to see his business expand.

~ Bushi is more busy then ever now that he finds himself with a family that he never expected that the Gods and Goddesses would bless him with. To make sure that they are kept safe he's made a deal with the Thief Guild Master and found himself with a bit more work then usual. It's worth it though since he wants to keep his home life and work life separate from one another as much as possible.

~ A rust colored bushi that Eadenur/Bushi traded for on his way out of Oba. Aatos was given the job of carrying around everything that Bushi has gathered for trading and selling, making him quite important to Bushi right out of the gate.

~ After a lot of running around Bushi was able to catch a bright blue baby kinfa who he dubbed as 'Profit'. She is a sweet bird, one that is often seen perching on Bushi's shoulder or on Aatos's shell. Given the contrast in their coloration she stands out against the two of them.

Earthlings: Fire

The people of Oba live in cramped conditions, producing Tendaji's first real cities to reside in its time. These fire earthlings live in a desert-like environment with two large Oases that the cities crowd around. This requires light, breezy fabric and shoes to endur the heat of the sands during the day.

The fire earthlings of Oba have skin ranging from a medium tan to a skin the shade of night, all in a reddish hue. Their hair is dominated by reds and browns, ranging from light browns to dark deep reds and blacks, this red hue seems to also carry into their eyes, ranging from light light red, almost white, to deep wine colors. Like the other earthlings of Tendaji, the Obans have crystals, though these crystals are large, orange, and shaped like smoothed, polished rocks, not round, but not rough either. These large orange crystals are found almost exclusively on their shoulders and upper backs, possibly creeping up to their necks or as far forward as their upper chest, residing in virtually no other place on their bodies.

Due to the structure of their society and the working of their people, they have a wide spread belief that they not only are the favored people of Tendaji, but they are meant to rule the rest of their neighbors. Even those who do not actively want to conquer, can't seem to find it in themselves to care about what happens to the other folks of Tendaji, having the ingrained belief that they are chosen by the gods and turning a cheek to the rest of Tendaji, almost as if they don't know how to acknowledge other's sufferings or degrading positions in comparison to their own society.

Religion: The people of Oba believe in a whole pantheon of Gods and Goddesses, partitioning all parts of life to a god such as birth, death, fishing, ocean, a king and queen of the gods, etc. There is always a different name to pray to depending on the situation at hand. The major players in their pantheon include:

Government: The people of Oba live under a nobility system that peaks with a King to dictate all that goes on in his lands. The King and his family, as well as many of the nobles live in Sulburi, Oba's capitol, while there are lesser nobles living in the other large cities as the eyes and ears of the King. The King also dictates the forces of his army, which involve another system of rank including generals, advisors, and strategists that all live within the city of Sulburi in the surrounding area of the palace.
