I'm surprised he had enough for another load so soon.
Later he asks where the bread knife is.
It was in the clean load I did. Which means he would've known where it was if he'd unloaded the clean dishes from the dishwasher before doing his load.
He re-washed a mostly-full dishwasher. emotion_facepalm

It's easy to do if you aren't completely certain whether the dishes are clean or not and not as familiar with doing a load with said dishwasher. I know with our dishwasher, if you get into it to grab a clean dish, the light indicating the dishes are clean goes off when you close the door again. My parents and I would know whether or not they're clean despite the light being off since we're familiar with our dishwasher routines, but if someone else came to do a load and didn't already know the routine, they probably would re-wash the clean ones. xd
