universe, is that literally NO ONE wears glasses.
I think I'm gonna finally have to go in and request some contacts. Just for cosplay/Halloween use. I really don't like the idea of sticking something into my eye, but being blind at a convention you paid good money to attend would be worse.

Damn technological evolution and its ability to render glasses useless! stressed
But yeah, I know that frustration. I wear glasses, too (even though I never take any pictures with them on xd ). I'm not super blind without 'em, I just can't read things or recognize faces from a distance. It's still enough to be annoying, though. I tried going glasses-less on Halloween for my Sailor Mercury costume and it just felt bizarre. ._."

Usually in those cases, people either wear contacts or they still wear their glasses but take them off during photos.

I wear both glasses and contacts, and it's initially a little squeamish having to touch your eyes. It gets better with time, though. smile

I hate contacts. Like Moonie said in those situations I'd probably just wear my glasses and if I wanted a photo op either take them off or just keep them on and say screw it.
I'm pretty much in the "cosplay is fun so deal with it if my representation isn't 100% accurate."
Though I've never actually cosplayed.

Except for Kirk, who was allergic to the procedure or whatever. lol I'm the same. I can see stuff but I can't read stuff. And I constantly attempt to push my glasses up even though they're not on my face. >_>;;
