Pewter City is a city located in northwest Kanto, and the locale lies between Viridian Forest and Mt. Moon. The most notable resident of the city is Brock, the Pewter City Gym Leader. He specializes in rock type pokemon which he has collected and trained in Mt. Moon while looking for fossils. His gym appears to resemble that of an excavation site, with a dirt terrain and scattered rocks where he and his pokemon can feel most at home. A famous museum is located in the northwestern part of Pewter City and is one of the city's main attractions. The main building is open to the public and features several historical artifacts, including Aerodactyl and Kabutops fossils, and a model of a space shuttle. There are two floors to explore in the Pewter Museum of Science. The first floor holds the front desk and a fossil exhibit containing the fossils of Aerodactyl and Kabutops. The second floor hosts a space exhibit featuring a Space Shuttle and a large Moon Stone that fell onto Mt. Moon Trainers are able to explore the museum at any time, after paying the admission fee. A scientist here also holds the coveted Old Amber fossil, required to revive an Aerodactyl. He is said to give it to visitors who spend a lot of time in town and the museum.

"Willow, Willow? Willow?! Wake up!" Sirens, shouting. Voices that sounded familiar. And, yet, Willow couldn't focus in on any of it. What was going on? Where was Dutch? Raphiel! Where was he?! The coffins! Oh, no. What happened? There was a haze clouding her mind. She kept blacking out to find herself in different places each time. Officer Jenny standing above her. The worried look of Jessi. A car's roof, and someone holding her hand. She was being wheeled somewhere on a stretcher. Beeping noises and tubes. A very concerned nurse Joy.

When her senses finally cleared, Willow found herself alone in a hospital room. Flowers and balloons filled the small space. The smells were familiar and unwelcome. It reminded her all too much of her childhood. She still felt too weak to push herself up, and instead simply turned her head towards a window. Serena was laying on the window sill asleep, with Valor beside her. It was late evening. Willow then turned her head the other way the see Dutch slouched against the wall asleep, with Tori close by. It seemed as though everyone was asleep. But, they were here. Kerobos popped above her head, his eye blinking quickly. The Pokemon began spinning around, obviously excited. Aldon soon joined him, and seemed quite pleased to see Willow awake. He was now a Haunter, and was the colors of a shiny mega Gengar.
"What happened?" Her voice was very hoarse, and her throat felt dry and scratchy. It was as though she hadn't talked in ages. Aldon disappeared after she asked, which only confused Willow more. What had happened? Why was she here? The young woman closed her eyes and forced herself to her last clear memory.
They had entered the mausoleum. Dutch had evolved, and was looking down into some water. There were coffins everywhere. Many trainers had joined her, and they were all looking for the host. There was a strange black coffin. And then...? There were faces hovering over her as she was laying in the grass. She was hurting so bad. That was it. That was the last thing she could remember. Everything after was a blur. Willow weakly lifted a hand to cover her eyes. Was she really safe?
"Willow?" A gentle voice cooed as Nurse Joy entered the young woman's room. Willow put her hand back down on the bed, and turned her head to look at the warm-hearted nurse. The nurse's eyes looked back with nervous excitement. "Willow, are you with me?" She asked. Willow took a deep breath. "I....I think so."

As it turned out, Jessica found Willow bleeding and seriously injured where the Gastly had initially taken her away. Willow had been crazed and shaking, her mind seemingly shattered. Officer Jenny came quickly and brought the injured trainer to the hospital, where she had went in and out of coherence for a week. Many of her Pokemon were also injured, with Dutch and Serena being the worst. Serena's paw and tail were broken, and Dutch had to have surgery on his shell. They were both recovering fine. Willow had a few broken ribs, a sprained ankle, and an infected slice from under her left breast all the way down to her hip bone. She also had a bad concussion. When she awoke the first time, she was screaming for Dutch, and cursing a Raphiel. When asked about what had happened, Willow refused to answer. She remembered most of it, just not what had happened after they entered that horrible room. But, Willow told everyone but her Pokemon that she had forgotten all of it.
Nurse Joy decided that Willow stay at the hospital for a while. However, since then she had been in the hospital for almost a month on-and-off. During her stay, many friends and family had visited and given her gifts. Mushrooms, heart scales, and even a baby Riolu, whom Willow named Donatello, meaning 'Gift'. He was a very sweet little Pokemon who helped Willow regain some of her old personality. However, she continued having nightmares, and was slightly paranoid. Lenora and Willow fought over the young trainer returning to Fuchsia for a while. In the end, Willow won and decided to continue on her journey the next day.

It was the end of the day, and tomorrow Willow would once more leave Pewter. She was staying with Ethan for the time being, and was sitting in the living room with Donatello asleep on her lap. "Willow." The scientist appeared and handed the young woman a drink. She smiled thankfully and took a sip, grimacing at the bitter taste of his favorite tea. Ethan chuckled and sat on the couch across from her. "So, tomorrow you're leaving?" He asked. Willow looked down at Donatello. "Yes." She answered simply. Ethan knew better than to push. This wasn't the same sweet girl he had met a month ago.
"Thank you." The sincere sound in her voice caught the man off guard. She had been so...cold since the event, that he was quite taken back by the gentleness in her words. "Look, Willow, if you ever need a place to stay-" "I know." She interrupted, and smiled at him. It was empty, however.Something had been taken from her during that night she went missing. Ethan sighed, trying hard not to show his frustration. "Right. Well, good night. Sleep well. Tomorrow will be a big day."

The next morning Willow awoke hearing the sounds of Pidgey outside the window. Light filtered through the curtains above her bed, and she could hear the clanking of pans downstairs. Donatello was curled up against her, and the rest of the team were scattered around the room. She pulled the covered back and placed her feet on the floor. She had more nightmares that night. That coffin slowly opening with Dutch crawling out in his zombified glory. The trainer looked over at her Warotortle to see him sleeping with Tori, Valor, and Serena. That group had gotten very close since they came back.
Willow showered and then went down the staircase to see that breakfast was ready. It was a rather elaborate spread. "Willow, good morning. I just finished." Willow slowly entered the room, watching Ethan cautiously. "I know this may seem like a bit much, but you've become a great friend, and I want to send you off full and happy." The older man shrugged with a friendly smile on his face. Willow sat herself and began eating. It really was all rather delicious. Her eyes stayed on Ethan as she ate. He seemed so happy to be doing this for her, and for her Pokemon. All of her team were also given their own breakfast meal. "Thank you." She said between mouth fulls.
"Willow, your mother called this morning. She said she had something you'd want to discuss with her. You can use the prompter in my office." Willow finished her food and helped Ethan clean kitchen. After, she went into his office and called her mother. After a moment her mother picked up with a rather apprehensive expression. "Good morning. There was something you wanted to talk about?" Willow asked. "Well, yes. I talked with Marcus, your grandmother's sister's son. His son is about to start a journey on his own, and well, he is trying to collect fossil Pokemon. I know that you have your hands full with Xi-" "No." "Willa, please. You two were so close-"
"Last time I saw him, he looked...uncomfortable. I think both of you would benefit from this." "Didn't Oliver become a delinquent? Wasn't he an as-" "Willow, that's rude. His mother died very tragically, and he watched as it happened. If you say no, that's fine, but don't bring past mistakes into this."
Willow looked at her mother's disappointed face. Realistically, this transfer was ideal. But, Xion was part of her team that Ethan had entrusted to her. "I already talked to Ethan about it. He's an old friend of Oliver's, you know. And Oliver will be trading a Swablu to you." A Swablu? That was one of Willow's favorite Pokemon. She frowned and released Xion, allowing him to look onto the screen. Once more Willow's mother explained the arrangement. "What do you think, Xion?" Willow asked. He didn't seem to really notice. Willow returned the ancient and placed the ball on the transfer. After beeping and buzzing noises, another ball replaces her Aerodactyl's. She teared up as she removed the ball.
"I know it's hard, but I do think he'll be happier." Lenora smiled gently at her daughter, but Willow simply switched the screen off. She knew her mother was right, but she didn't want to believe it.

Willow said her goodbyes to the town and began her walk towards the mountain. Many of the townspeople had wanted her to wait a little longer, but she was becoming restless. She was already so behind track. When was she ever going to get her second badge? And it would take forever to get through the tunnel. Her eyes casted down onto the ball in her hand. Swablu. Cotton. A Pokemon that Oliver had tirelessly tried to catch for her. And that was before they had ever made the deal about Xion. She felt a bit strange without the over-hyper Aerodactyl around. He certainly had personality.
Now the mountain was before her in all of its glory. Was she ready for this? She had to be.

The Togetic flew over his head and "halo"ed over it before flying down tk nuzzle his cheek. Ezra chuckled. She was fine. After a few minutes, Joy called him over and he went to the counter, where Felix was sitting."Hey, Felix. Feeling better?""Char....""Don't worry. That loss was my fault. You did great."Patting Felix's head, he helped the Charmander down to the floor and then went to a chair to sit and think through his plan.

While Avonlea rushed off towards the Pokemon center to get her team healed up, Sable tilted her head slightly and looked at Ezra."Yeah, I guess you've got a pretty big problem. Two of your Pokemon are gonna have trouble against rock attacks, too,"she commented, although, really, staying in the forest probably wouldn't have helped terribly much. Not with all the bugs the group was encountering, anyway. It'd just give him other Pokemon that wouldn't do well against the ground and rock user.
Jin seemed to have zoned out a bit as he looked around at the city, but he managed to drag his attention back to the conversation enough to change its course."Hey, sis? Want me to run in and get your Pokemon healed up while you go grab that cough medicine?"he asked as he looked over the two trainers, then continued speaking."I'd have offered to get the stuff, but with my luck I'd probably end up getting whatever kind ended up being so nasty tasting you couldn't stand to take it. Anyway, it'll give Ezra a chance to look around the city a bit and try to find a Nidoran or a Mankey. Well, if he wants one, anyway."The disguised Zorua gave a sheepish smile as he tacked on that last statement, chuckling lightly as he turned to face Ezra.
Sable thought for a moment, then nodded as she unclipped the balls containing her Weedle, Snivy, and Purrloin."Alright. I guess I'll catch at least one of you in front of the gym, then,"she replied as she handed the balls over to the dark-haired male, then gave the two boys a wave before heading off to the market. It felt odd to have four of her Pokemon away from her, but it did give her a chance to top up on supplies without worrying about adding an extra stop to the list. It wasn't too hard for her to find the main market either, as it was one of the main buildings in any town or city that was meant to be easy to locate for traveling trainers.
After being handed the three Pokemon, Jin gave Ezra a bit of a nod before heading off in the direction Avonlea ran. By the time the disguised Zorua reached the red-roofed building, Nurse Joy was already busy taking care of the baby Kangaskhan in the back. That just left one of the helper Chansey to deal with other people coming in. One that seemed to recognize Jin and gave him a little wave as he walked over to the counter."Hey, little lady. It's been a while, hasn't it?"he asked as he set the balls on the counter, grinning a bit as the normal type said something back at him before taking the three Pokemon to get healed up. It wasn't a long wait, and soon enough he had his trainer's Pokemon back.
"It's been good to see you again. I'll probably be back here at least a few more times for a while,"he said to the Chansey, then walked off to go sit with Avonlea and her Pokemon for a bit."Hey, I'm sure she'll be fine,"he assured the woman as he sat down next to her, keeping his voice down as he did so. It didn't seem quite as comforting as his attempts at keeping the baby calm, but he knew he was rather hit or miss on trying to comfort people.

Jin went off to the Pokémon Center and Sable went to get cough syrup. Which left Ezra alone with Trinity and Felix. But, not for long, because he saw a Pidgey and sent Felix out to train. He should really train Agatha, but....He figured he could use Trinity long enough to weaken Geodude so Agatha could finish him.

Avonlea watched Jin hand over Sable's Pokémon before joining her on the couch. He reassured her Alisha would be fine and the woman smiled at him."I know. Guess the mother in me is just taking this seriously. I just feel so bad for Alisha."The woman looked up when another shifty delivery person - this one a young woman with rainbow-dyed hair - showed up and handed her a small bag with a lucky egg and a balm mushroom. The woman left quickly and Avonlea opened the bag. Another note with another warning. "Be careful." That was what it said. Alright....What was going on? Jin nodded slowly as Avonlea replied to him, noting that the woman had already given a nickname to the young Kangaskhan."I... I know what you mean,"he commented quietly, then glanced away before facing towards the albino again. This time, though, he couldn't quite meet her eyes."A home being attacked... Families abducted... Brought to a strange place you've never seen before... Torn away from the people you care for most... Not..."For a moment, Jin seemed to be unaware of exactly what he was saying, but finally managed to catch himself and become silent. The disguised Zorua then shook his head a few times, trying to knock something out of his mind, or at least keep that something from being so prominant.
Jin had time to mutter a quick apology as he heard someone approach the two of them. He blinked a few times as he took in the sight of the delivery woman, not so much for her figure, but for the mess of hair on her head. After that little chat, the dark type was honestly bewildered by the sight of someone with rainbow-colored hair. Even more odd was that the delivery was a small, plain-looking sack with an egg and a mushroom inside, as well as a note. The disguised Zorua couldn't hide his curiosity and peeked at the note while Avonlea was reading it, only for his eyebrow to really raise."Does this happen to you often?"he asked as he tilted his head and looked at the albino woman, finding the situation a bit more odd than usual, and for him that was saying something.
Meanwhile, Sable had managed to find the market and had gone inside. Browsing the shelves, it didn't take long for Sable to find a bottle of cough syrup, a couple spare canteens so she wouldn't have to play "pass the canteen" with Jin so often, and a flashlight because she wasn't getting by with a backlit screen during the dead of night while stuck in a forest again. The teen then went up to the counter, paid for the supplies, and left the building to try and find her next stop. For now, she'd go find the city's gym, at least to see where the building was. It wasn't like it'd take Jin too terribly long to get her team healed up, although it might still take a while for him to meet back up with her if he decided to accompany Avonlea to the police station.

Jin seemed to suddenly fall into some sort of traumatic trance. He sounded eerie.
