If I do it this summer I'll have to have an extremely high SPF and not stay out
too long. You're supposed to avoid sun exposure for six months to a year, if you're concerned about the appearance of the scars. But yeah, after that, I'll be absolutely home-free.
At the surgeon's office after I'd gotten the bandages off and had my check-up, hubbie said "Put your shirt back on." and I responded "But it's socially acceptable for me to be topless outside now!" and he replied right back "Yes, but it's winter and it's cold. Now put it on."
