Leyline of the Demon Realm

A massive stone obelisk that is built into the ruined wall of some decrepit tower by the castle. It is usually ignored by most of the population because it is simply portrayed as ruins, but a feeling of power emanates in this place. Dark and foreboding power.  

[Red Gypsy]

Gypsy simply walked over to the ruins and spent a good hour inspecting them before backing off to a good vantage point to wait and watch. Thankfully, she was the patient type. Most of the time.

Okay, okay... She hated waiting. But she'd do it this time so she wouldn't have to deal with her brother in law when he found out she'd slept with his oldest friend who they'd all thought dead until now.

Of course, it hadn't been entirely her fault... He'd swamped her with demonic energy and let her demonic half loose... So Kael really deserved that black eye and the claw marks she'd given him and the bite marks...

Eh... Alright, her demonic half was still silently purring deep inside of her thanks to him instead of trying to get out and wreak havoc on her.

Still, she hadn't done it on purpose.

So that was why she was out here, staying hidden, in a place where she could keep a close eye on the ruins in case someone showed up to blast it and open the lock that would let the bad dragon loose who wanted to destroy the worlds...

Sounded like a plan to her...

Ash appeared right next to Gypsy and leaned one shoulder against a bit of wall that was still standing, his arms crossed and his head down. For once, he didn't say anything at all to her. He just stayed silent and wondered what he was going to do, how he was going to tell Rebecca...

Gypsy glanced up at Ash then turned back to watching where the bad guys should be showing up. She could tell that his meeting with Lareth hadn't gone well but wasn't sure if she should say anything or not. So they stayed there in silence for a long time.

Rebecca flew over the lan and looked around a bit as she was up there, it wasn't that bad of a plce quite lovely really just like the vamppire Island. As she then saw what would look like the ruins she spot Gypsy and then she spot Ash standing there , now she was hurt and a bit angry that he was there and didn't tell her. She growled low to herself and moved quickly and then softly land by him folding her arms over her chest, she didn't look happy. "Did you forget something?" Rebecca asked a bit annoyed.

Ash kept his head a bit down for the moment, "I didn't forget, Rebecca... I was going to tell you we were out here. I just needed a few minutes to clear my head," he said softly, doing his best to keep his emotions under control for the moment. After all, it wasn't every day you got told you were banished after completing one final task...

Gypsy rolled her eyes a bit, "Lareth seems to be living up to his nickname over the last few days. He's in a bad mood and taking it out on every threat he can find and every slight done to him. Knowing my brother-in-law, he's not pissed that you two mated but about something else that he won't talk about that Ash likely hasn't apologized for yet. So he was likely more harsh than usual when Ash ran into him," she explained as best as she could without taking her crimson eyes off of the likely target.

Rebecca softly relaxed as she looked at Ash and listened Gypsy, all the anger she felt was gone now. She softly walked over to Ash wrapping her arms around him giving him a hug "Give him time love, he is dealing with a lot right now and stress makes people say stupid things. Just give him time he will come around" Rebecca says softly him as she felt bad, Whatever Lareth said to him has me silent and that's not good when Ash is quite. So she softly held seeing if he wanted her comfort at all if not she will leave him be, once things settle down Rebecca will have a talk with Lareth herself if she has too and let him know Ash is still with him even if she is with Ash.

Ash uncrossed his arms and put one around her shoulders and simply held her as they waited. He decided that they had enough to worry about right now. He'd tell her Lareth's decision later, after this was done.

Gypsy shifted a bit, finding herself uncomfortable with Ash and Rebecca getting cuddly before a fight. But she finally just decided to ignore it for now. Whatever floated their pre-fight boat...

Rebecca softly stood there with Ash silently, seeing he just needed time to think and work things out in his mind, so she gladly just held him and knew he would tell her what Lareth said once he is ready, but from the way he is right now it must of been bad and she will help him make it right again with his King as she knows how much he truly cares and very much loyal to him.

All there was to do now was wait for what they came here for, she was glad a bit to be next to him as just being near him helped calm her nervous, she can feel this place was making her power stir for some reason and wondered if it was just that stone Lao was talking about that they are here to protect. She will soon know, just need to wait.

The stone obelisk began to hum loudly as a cold wind blew in. The normally dreary place started to grow darker, the ground itself began to rot and die. In the distance, a cloud of chilling fog was rolling in. With came faint howling, like screams or cries. Two figures strolled out of the mist, approaching the gathered defenders with an unholy aura proceeding them. Ilea would be recognizable, but her companion's face was obscured by a wide brim hat. The closer they got to the obelisk, the louder came the shrieks and screams until the strangers stood 30 feet away from the gathered heroes. As the man looked up, the wind howled loudly towards the group, the screams and wailing intensifying until it was nearly deafening. In the brief echo of silence came a gravelly voice from the man's direction.

"Shall we begin? "

Ost took up a position at a safe distance from the imminent battle in his human form with as much stealth as possible. Unfortunately, he failed to arrive before the opposing force. If he had managed that he would have been able to lay some simple wards to hinder the enemy and protect the ruins. He could still get to the battle in a short time if necessary but he had no intention of being drawn in until it became necessary and so he took no action. His first priority was to observe.

No matter what his standing with his King was or how useless he was proving to be, he could at least follow orders. But, little of that mattered. If the defences seemed likely to fall he would shift and charge immediately with his full power, foregoing the slow and subtle ward for the full offensive power he possessed. There was little room for error and he had no intention of allowing another death on his watch if he could prevent it.

Ash narrowed his eyes as the ones they were expecting came directly to them instead of attempting the lock first. Fine. He could handle that. He looked down at Rebecca and gave her a kiss full of tenderness and his love for her. He finally pulled back and looked at the man, choosing his target easily. He moved away from Rebecca and pulled his sword and one of his daggers, knowing the weapons would be dismissed easily at first since the blades looked old and rusted.

He was ready.

Gypsy didn't take that much time. She took one look at Ilea and knew Rebecca was probably having a moment of 'twins?!' But they were as different as much as they looked alike. They both carried the same crimson eyes, the same basic facial features, the same body style and figure. But the differences ended there.

Ilea wore a crimson leather top that barely covered her breasts, leather mini skirt, and leather boots that laced up to her thighs. She had very pale skin that was liberally covered with small silvery scars, dark black hair, and an evil aura.

Gypsy was wearing black fighting leathers, sword at her back, and daggers everywhere else. She had flame colored hair, skin lightly tanned thanks to the demonic sun, only a few scars from her centuries of fighting for her life, and a healthy aura.

Gypsy ran out and met Ilea in the grass, taking her down in a flying tackle that turned into a roll of various punches, a few kicks, and the flash of two of Gypsy's daggers when Ilea snatched one of them.

Rebecca glanced over as she felt the dark presence her dark power was very much shifting now as it always triggers around dark powers. She looked back at Ash as he pulled her into a quick full tender kiss, as she happily returned her love for him. Once Ash stepped away from her she drew her sword from her back and rolled her neck as she started to change to her true form. Her white hair turning pitch black, black eyes with sliver rings, long shark black nails, and her Black and Red feather wings were still out from earlier, but cause she was not wearing her necklace from Cedric any more her now purple dark fire form a ring around her head like a crown.

She transfers her power through her weapons as they changed to suit with her strength and not get damaged easy during the fight, She moved to Ash's side as she splits her new sword into making it two and stands ready. As Gypsy goes for the women, knowing Ash would go for the man, she would just work on helping them both out at a time, but would mostly leave Gypsy be unless she really did need her help. Rebecca's black sliver eyes glow for a moment as her power takes over leaving her emotions down and her battle senses high.

The man watched on as Gypsy and Ilea fought, letting them duke it out for now. He turn his focus on Ash and Rebecca, an eerie grey glow surrounding him. His approach was slow, but every step made the ground before him rot, a ring of corruption forming around the demon. A cruel sneer appeared on his lips as his hand swung out, a blade of black energy flying towards the pair.

Gypsy and Ilea continued their fight, looking like a bad version of movie doubles without any sound aside from the sound of their blows to each other. Theirs was an old fight, dating back to the day Ilea had decided she didn't like anyone else having the same face she did, despite the fact that the features had been Gypsy's originally.

Ash gave his sword a circular swing with a twist of his wrist as Rebecca joined him, stepping to the side to avoid the dark energy wave. He knew it would have an empowering effect on Rebecca, though. Almost like charging a battery. So he didn't worry about it for her.

Instead, he moved in for an attack to Gado's side, staying silent like the assassin he was trained to be. His style in a fight like this was hit-and-run, though he'd change styles as needed. He knew his first attack would likely be blocked and shifted to one side behind Gado, leaving the soul reaper's attention on Rebecca in front of him.

Ilea gave a pained sound when Gypsy got in a good hit with her dagger and stepped back from her, hating the grin on the redhead's face. She gave a growl of rage and moved in for another attack of her own, wanting to draw her own sounds of pain from the one she'd been created from....

Rebecca dark power power purred a little from the dark energy passing her as it gave her a good boost, as Ash went for a silent blow Rebecca seeing if she would distract as she went for a front attck first throwing a ball of her dark purrple flame at him, but she knew with him have dark power like her it would do much it would give her a better chance to get a good swing in as he blocked it. This was first time Rebecca was fighting as her true self with her soul this time, so she was going to see what she could do. With her being connected to Ash it helped her to work with his attacks as he went his next move.
