A path crafted from dreams of the courageous and strong, where only the bold dare tread, and the persistent will survive. Some call it the path of heroes, of champions, but those of a virtuous nature are not the only ones to push passed the fear. Be they heroic or vile, only the strong of spirit belong on this path, for dangerous trials and harsh realities are to be met here. In a world of dreams death is but an illusion, but the pain can feel all too real. Tread carefully.
(Over the Rainbow and thru the woods ....to Grandmother house we go!)
Carrot was in a singing mood as they would cross over the rainbow to the land of bravery. Or at least, to the place where people dream of brave and daring deeds.
Nakano would only shake her head at the thought.
"So, this is what we are reduce to ....saving the princess." "Sounds rather dull you know."
She would declares lightly to herself. Her hand wrapped behind her head as she walked one foot after the other until she touched a much more solid substances. This was a place of huge mountains and steep hills that made her shake her head lightly.
"I seem to always pick the worst path to travel."
She told herself as she looks upwards at the sky.
(Well, for better or worst, let's go)
Carrot declares with a bit of a puppies laughter.
(So, in that song do you think I am the big bad wolf or just something)
"You're a fox not a wolf."
Nakano would correct him as they started on their way.
Walking down the bridge that was pretty much a rainbow, Sora walked towards the 'Nightmare'. Poochyena, walking right next to him, began to look up to the shroud of darkness that consumed the coming island. Poochyena continued to walk strong and proud, being the brave pup he was. He wasn't going to back away now. He was actually excited to venture into this darkness. As they passed through the field of darkness, they would find nothing but a peaceful land just on the other side of the darkness on the inside. "Huh, looks much more nicer on the inside than out." he stated, slightly confused.
Proceeding forward down the rugged rocky path, Nakano would find herself faced with something of an ominous sight. Standing high up atop a rocky spire was an Absol, staring down at her with it's bright red eyes. When the girl drew closer it would leap to another spire, looking over it's shoulder at her upon landing. Another step closer and it would leap to the next spire, still watching her. It seemed as if it were trying to lead here somewhere...or perhaps merely playing a game, maybe even preparing an ambush. It was up to her whether to fight or follow.
As if to add to the confusion one of the nearby bushes would begin to rustle. Located on the other side of the young trainer cared to look were a number of wide, no doubt deep holes. Sitting on one of these many holes was a Trapinch, jaws wide, and pointed skyward. A second would pass by and a piece of fruit would drop into the Pokemon's mouth, being crushed in it's maw within seconds. Once the juicy morsel was downed the Trapinch would open it's maw again. Looking upward the boy would be able to see easily enough what the Pokemon was waiting for. With branches which hung perfectly and directly over the holes, was a berry tree with the fruit just beginning to fall off.
Arrive at the same place with Sora, the same place...Theo repeated the sentence in his mind, trying to affect the dream world. It sounded like a foolish attempt which was why he didn't tell anyone about it yet, until he was sure it would work. There was finally light in front of him and he stepped out into mountainous road.
"Brave path? no way, is it rigged?"Crocus exclaimed as he saw where they were.A path for the brave where their courage were tested. He had never seen Theo as brave, more like reckless so far. He was giving Theo scrutinized look. His trainer looked more he didn't care much for his surrounding, whether it was rushing into danger or in bad situation. Sure, he talked and complained, but he didn't looked he truly meant what he said. wouldn't carefree path suit him better?
"Hey! What's with that look?"Theo said disapprovingly, his pokemon was thinking him unworthy for this path." We are in brave path. It means the dream world recognize my courage,"he said it with pride, showing Crocus that his assessment of him was wrong. Crocus had been criticizing whenever there was chance to. His pokemon not thinking highly of him, that couldn't be left alone. He would have to teach Crocus to respect him.

((Sorry to inform you that really there isn't in this particular case. There is no way for the two of you to do more then chitchat between encounters that wouldn't end up doing you more harm then good I'm afraid.))
As if seeking to argue that point about Theo having courage, a large rock would suddenly whiz passed his head, followed by another which similarly missed. When the boy at last chose to follow the path of the flying stones he'd finds the source to be a grim faced Tyrogue, standing atop a large flat rock and already preparing another stone to fling his way. It looked like the Fighting-Type had decided to take up a little target practice. The question was, would Theo play along or would be attempt to take it down before it caused him any real harm?
A rustling from a nearby bush would stop Sora. Almost immediately, he assumed it would be a pokemon. Well of course it would be, they are pretty much the only creatures that inhabit this world. Dream World was more like it. Sora, along with Poochyena, peeked through the bushes and noticed an area that would be covered with holes that seemed deep. One of the holes would have a set of jaws that clamped shut once a fruit had fallen in. "Whoa! A Trampinch! Sweet!" he said in excitement. Coming out from the bush he also noticed that there was a tree that branched out over several holes in the ground.
Both Sora and Poochyena stepping out from the bush, a small berry would bounce off of his head and onto the floor. Picking up the berry, Sora walked over to the hole that the Trampinch was in. He held out the berry in hopes to draw out the pokemon. But he had to be careful, otherwise he'd end up with one less hand.
While Theo and Crocus was arguing, big rock flew pass him, missing him by inch. Theo quickly moved sideway as a reaction to his astonishment. "Whoah there!"he exclaimed and turned around to see another rock flung toward him and struck where he was last standing. Crocus had dodged the rock too, but the rock seemed to be aimed at his trainer. " You don't look so good,m-a-s-t-e-r" Crocus teased, calling Theo 'master' in a mocking way."Why don't you try being in my position for once!?"He snapped back, irritated by Crocus's constant mocking. "Obviously not standing here like a target"again, reply that criticizing him. Theo couldn't deny that one, he had argued with Crocus instead of dealing with the attack. "Whose fault was it? Now just shut up, will ya?" Theo said to end their argument. Crocus didn't say anything more after Theo told him to shut up.
Theo switched his attention toward where the rock was coming from. He advanced in zigzag pattern, so any further attempt will be harder to hit. There at the end of the path was a tyrogue, he was lifting a big rock. Evidence of the attacker."Found you"Theo glared at the pokemon. " Crocus, wait and watch " this he said to Crocus, he wanted Crocus to witness his ability." As for you, I will payback the 'gift' plus interest "Theo was obviously venting out his irritated feeling from the previous argument. He released his other pokemon, a litwick. A better match for fighting type like tyrogue.

Dark eyes that glowed red ...would catch the girl's attentions as she looked up to see the pokemon perch on spires of rock. A smile would grace her face as it bounces from one spire to the next, there was no sound, no tumbling of rock, and her eyes would shine.
"You are a ninja aren't you?" Wanna be one of my partners?"
Nakano would call up to it ....as Carrot beside her would slap a paw against his forehead.
(How do you know, he isn't feral ...glowing red eyes doesn't exactly shout tame?)
The red fox would ask her ....as the girl simply waves away the threat of danger.
"All shinobi are wild, so there is no differences."
She would tell him ...even as she went for a different pokemon. A kunai twirled free of it's sheathe as she twist it once and pitches it hard against the ground ...to release her own flying type.
She had seen in this dream world, she could ride her. Though they wouldn't be able to fly for great distances, it was enough that Suzaku could fly with her.
"Get on Carrot, we are going to follow."
Nakano would direct him. She wasn't of a mind to have Suzaku fight the pokemon if it came down to it. The steel flying type only had one move, and it was at a disadvantage against a dark type, and considering that she had no others that had the advantage....she was going to give the fox a chance at this battle if there was one.
Carrot thought to argue more, but looking at how Nakano's eyes weren't leaving the Absol's form as the pokemon climb higher he could only sigh.
(Somehow I get the feeling this isn't going to turn out well)
He would then jump towards her. Afterall, getting onto Suzaku's back on his own was quite a leap as she grab him in midair and vaulted unto the bird's back. Suzaku would give a slight sqwark of anger at the mounting, and look back at her.
(what are you doing?)
"We are in a dream, I can ride you, and you can fly."
Nakano told her quickly and she only rolled her eyes as she would spread her wings.
(I just want you to know, this will only every happen in your dreams)
And with that, Suzaku would take off from the ground and launch herself towards the Spire that the Absol was heading for next.
They were following
~I don't know if I should roll or not, but I am going to anyway~
It was surprising that the child had the foresight to realize that what he was doing would prove a rather poor idea, but not the wisdom to think better of the action. The moment the berry was held over the hole a huge gaping maw would appear, a small body leaping free and snapping shut upon fruit and limb in a single go. Thick, jagged teeth would rip into the boy's arm, severing his hand quite cleanly. Blood would spill, and pain would radiate through his body, all topped off by the look of delight in the Trapinch's black eyes as it greedily tore apart the severed hand.
Sora would blink only once, and find himself standing exactly where he'd been moments before, his hand still very much attached, and the berry still clutched within. There was no trace of blood nor scar, yet a chill would force it's way down his spine when he remembered the pain. Briefly he'd catch a flickering shadow out of the corner of his eye. So this was the results of the nightmare. It would seem that pain in this place was still very much real.
The Trapinch in actuality hadn't moved an inch from it's spot beneath the tree, beady eyes staring unblinkingly at the fruit high above. Now why would he try and take a berry from another creature when he could simply wait and receive one on his own?

((You misunderstand. There is no confusion. I'm telling you that there isn't a way to let you to 'work as a team' which wouldn't cause you more loss then gain based on the mechanics of this event.))
The Tyrogue merely sneared at the boy's declaration, eyes seeming to brighten at the direct challenge. He'd only been playing; but his species were ones to never back down from a fight. Leaping backwards the Fighting-Type would start off by sliding into a standard 'ready' stance; however once viewing his opponent clearly he would straighten. Closing his eyes the Tyrogue would slow his breathing, clenching his fists and pulling them towards himself as he released a long, deep breath. When his eyes opened they had taken on a bright red glow. With this he would be able to see everything, including the lines which connected the Litwick to this world. Foresight, a move which would allow even a Fighting-Type move to strike at a Ghost!
Objective: Catch Up and Keep Up! Rules: Spire Speeder will consist of 3 Rounds of 5 Dice Rolls (D20s). To catch up to the Pokemon you must have a combined total (all 5 rolls + SPD) Higher then the Pokemon. Bonus points if you manage to keep up with the Pokemon consecutively. You must beat the Pokemon a minimum of 2/3 times to win. Rolls of 1 will mean you fell off the spire, negatively impacting your final points score. Rolls of 20 will boost your score.
Fur hardly ruffled by the wind, the Absol would speed forward with all the haste of one racing from a disaster; or quite possibly towards it. Landing upon the tips of the spires the Dark-Type would never falter, his steps making no sound, nor releasing an debris. There was no hesitation in his movements, only precision.
Midnight came out and felt there was something off about the place. Like it wasn't quite real. She glanced between her opponent and her trainer, figuring out that this was her turn to battle. Her opponent jumped backward and she saw the tyrogue's eyes was glowing and it sent her shiver. She felt the tyrogue had seen something through her. Instinctively, she knew she won't hold advantage toward this one. It made her feeling uneasy.
A cocky smirk graced the Tyrogue's lips as the red glow of his eyes intensified, cementing that he wouldn't miss a single detail. Smashing his right fist into the palm of his left hand, the Tyrogue's smirk spread into a grin as he rather abruptly leaped forward. Landing within several feet of his opponent he began performing a series of over exaggerated kicking and punching combos before leaping backward to his original position, sliding into a defensive stance and beckoning towards the Litwick. Clearly that little display was meant as some kind of threat.
