When you're rife with devastation
There's a simple explanation:
You're a toymaker's creation
Trapped inside a crystal ball

And whichever way he tilts it
Know that we must be resilient
We won't let them break our spirits
As we sing this silly song

When I was a little girl, a galloping blaze overtook my world
So they shipped me off to the orphanage. Said, "ditch those roots if you wanna fit in"
So I dug one thousand holes and cut a rug with orphan foals
Memories are blurred, and their faces are obscured, but I still, know the words to this song

When you've bungled all your bangles
And your loved ones have been mangled
Listen to the jingle jangle
Of my gypsy tambourine

'Cause these chords are hypnotizing
And the whole world's harmonizing
So please children stop your crying
And just sing along with me

It was every night, for years and years, and it never stopped. Just upon the roofs they could all hear it, moving from roof to roof the sound of music. There was a fiddler on the roof, and he never seemed to move anywhere. He repeated himself every night, and nobody seemed to be able to catch him. It was a haunting mystery, but he didn't seem to be harming anyone, so they did their best to ignore it. The children couldn't ignore it though, the sound of the fiddle haunted them ever since they were young and they could never get a good night sleep. With a club formed between the children, wanting revenge no less, they would set out for the fiddler each night and chase him down. Attempt to kill him even, it didn't matter to them. Every night they wandered into the forest just past their homes, and would lose him. Tonight would be different though, the children were getting better, or maybe the fiddler was getting friendlier. Tonight would be different, and unexpected.

The Fiddler

Name: Fiddler
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female

History
All anyone can ever know is that she has been tormenting the small town with her fiddling antics at night. The adults have come to ignore it, despite their deprived sleep, but the children are more than angered now that they've spoken and unite. They've been chasing her every night sense, and with a laugh she's been having fun, but now she thinks they are in good enough shape mentally and physically for her world. She needs these children, and hoping they will make it with a little hand she can give. As far as the children know, her face is always concealed behind the hood and words are never spoken from her. To the large oak tree she leads them, now the children can enter into her world safely.

Other
For what the children only know, she comes off as a joker with a good talent for music. She's pretty mocking with her body language, and only makes it worse when she gives no verbal responses. There isn't much known about her though.

Skills: Playing the violin, she's fairly good at it and seems to be able to do it non-stop if anyone so lets or or unable to stop her. What they haven't seen is what she can produce with each note given, but she can rarely give a real perform in the real world.

Strengths/Weakness's: Take her violin (which is an accomplishment in itself) she is very powerless and frustrated even. She still very skilled in her acrobatics despite that, but the violin is her greatest weapon and the source of her life energy. Keep it from her too long, she'll die. She becomes weaker the longer it is away from her (three days max).

Allison

Name: Allison Waltz
Age: 12
Gender: Female

History
One of the younger children of the group, but she was the one that took the action to form the group. She is raised by a loving mother who has an over obsessive need to bake and can vegetables, but she could never build a relationship with her despite her good nature. Ever since she was three, she heard the fiddler and his antics upon the roof, at first she was intrigued, but in the end it would never stop. Ever so slowly her sleep became lost, her father would come home from work and for a moment she could rest in his lap as he slept with the newspaper folded over his face. Dinner came and they continued, it seemed even as her parents could continue their lives, a part of them ignored the disturbance at night. At least three times a week she brought up news of The Fiddler, and over time her parents worried for their daughters own mental state. Her parents were slowly believing that The Fiddler never existed in the first place. Surely not everyone can ignore these sounds right? How long has The Fiddler truly been in their small town? It was hard to know the truth, but Allison couldn't stand it so she walked the streets with her two friends and to find others like her. Others who agreed joined her in discussion of this, and soon she felt less crazy on the idea that these noises actually exist. Despite her being one of the younger, she took the charge aggressively. They all planned to find out more about The Fiddler, to sneak out every night and chase him down even. Little to no luck, but Allison was persistent.

Other
Allison is a very disturbed girl, she is often serious and irked easily. She has even resorted to violence among the others, as a last resort. The amount of violence towards one of her friends caused him to leave and never return, the investigation and claim against giving her old friend a few bruises and scratches was over since the many other eye-witnesses claimed it a lie. She is highly driven to rid the fiddler, and thoughts of suicide crosses her. Most may catch her talking to herself, day dreaming, or making hand sign motions which is another form of speaking with herself. She is a very harsh girl, but also fairly intelligent for her age. Waking her up from any kind of nap will result in a firm back hand and a possible silent treatment. Most will find her heartless and insane, which would be right, but her underlying feelings are naturally hidden.

Skills:
Strategist and using common sense to a degree.

Strengths/Weakness's: She fears spiders and any sense of being powerless/ not in control. She is usually pretty good at intimidating and being somewhat manipulative, even if it is amongst her own 'friends'.
