Dear Students.
Welcome to Highrock, a school designed for young people with a very special, unique gift. Here you will learn what this gift of yours is, and how you can control it, passing through these halls is an exsperiance you will never forget.
I ask that you all make sure to have your property, including baggage and hand luggage reported in at the front entrance once you have arrived. Once done, report to your alocated room to await your year head.
Finally, please dont feed the Chimera on the way in.

Obviously, as you can tell, this is a school rp, there will be spaces open for teachers, aswell as Year heads, these being teachers in charge of all the students in one of the 10 years. starting at 9 years up to 19. so that obviously means a student cant be younger than 9 or older than 19, however a teacher must be 20+.
This rp is based in current time and Romance is allowed, all students and Teachers are allowed a familiar. For a list of available Teacher spots, please look below, if choosing to be a year head, please also choose a subject to teach from the list.

Bio: Mira reached her full potential with magic in the mid 1500's, managing to actually stop herself aging a day past the age of 25, after living for so long and watching the shoddy teachings of other so called magical tutors go out of control and end up with alot of unfortunat events, she decided to open her school hidden from view by those without the gift and creating a place where young magic users could practice with their abilitys without the worry of anything going to badly wrong.

Bio: A mage once associate with the Circle of Magi, once one of the main authorities of the magic world. He, like many of the order have gained immortality through the use of magic causing all aging and deteriorating of the body to cease, leaving them at the physical an mental state of the time they achieved this, he himself taught Mira Blackbow everything she knows, even the ability to stop aging. Because of this bond, he was the one she sought out for help in setting up her school and was appointed Assistant Head of the school. His mastery in the elements and bond with his familiar lead to him being the most suited to teaching these subjects.

Appearance: around 5ft tall, 100 pounds in weight, scrawny build, has solid black eyes with no whites and no irises, shoulder length gray hair, and tends to walk around wearing flip-flops, a flower pattern Hawaiian shirt, and shorts with a pair of sunglasses on. Has darkly tanned skin, but in his true form is a 500ft tall humanoid colossus who’s clothes are made from parts of castles and other buildings. Place: Thought-Crafting Teacher Familiar: Striker the Mechameleon or machine possessing chameleon. When Striker Possesses a machine, he combines with it and transforms it into a mechanical chameleon made from its parts and components. Bio: A pretty silent student, he has raised his voice when he needed. That meant that when his Year needed help, he helped them. Not too popular, though, he tends to only talk to Maxi. Smart, but not strong, he is a wiz in Beastiology and Alchemy.

Du Fortuna Age: Seventeen Gender: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Bio: Not particularly fond of people, Camille has always been the oddity in her outgoing family. Much to their dismay, Camille blames them for her screwy personality. Thinking she’d learn some social mannerisms and pass on the magical family name, Fortuna, as a successful graduate of Highrock School of Magic, they sent Camille as soon as she was eligible to go. Besides the point, Camille is quite known for being a smart a** but a very reliable person to go to whenever someone needs something. She is particularly fond of Alchemy and some of the more reading aspects of magic such as Magic History and spells. Appearance:  Place: Student Familiar: A snarky black cat named Sebastian. He has quite a tongue, a sailor’s actually, and is quite annoying despite his helpfulness. Room: Room 18, 3rd floor, Left wing. Other: Camille, though not one to speak much, isn’t to be mistaken as shy. She won’t say anything until asked, making it quite hard to have a conversation with her. Oh, and she doesn’t wear glasses. Username: Creamsicle Bunnies Character name: Ren Winterbourne Age: Eighteen Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Bio: Ren, unlike many students, doesn’t come from a well-to family. Magical blood is a submissive gene in his family so having any potential in the magical world in is not as common. Nonetheless, he was the one that offered to go to Highrock to learn more about it. Since his entry, he is intrigued by such studies that require a little more hands on such as Alterations, defense, combat, and mastery. Appearance:  Place: Student Familiar: A small brown ferret named Oliver. He likes to hide in Ren’s pockets. Room: Room 12, 2nd floor, Right wing. Other: Ren is very loyal and devoted, though he may not look it, and is alreayd quite devoted to a girl he likes. Username: Xistund Character name: Joseph Le Blank Age: 9 Gender: Male Sexuality: a bit too young to tell Bio: Joseph Le Blank a boy from a family full of magic users. So it’s no surprise he shown talent at a young age. The only thing that was odd that before he was born the family elder, an old woman strong in predictions had a vision of a figure of a boy then blackness started to spout out of his face and start to cover half the world. While the other side seemed to grow brighter to make up for the shadow’s and the boy standing bathed in both. No one was sure what to make of this some thought it an omen of events to come and that the new born will use his powers for evil. Others thought the boy would be the first victim of whatever was coming, some thought it had nothing to do with the infant. But no matter what they thought they knew they would have to wait and see. Joseph is now 9 starting his first year at Highrock will develpion his powers lead the world to darkness only time will tell. But eventually she learned to manage the demon inside of her, and to use its powers to her advantage. But she isn't sure when the demon would wake up again. She she strives to learn magic so she wouldn't have to worry about it. A side effect of being possessed is that she stopped aging. Dani is of Creole heritage, so the magic of the bayou runs through her family. Dani's father works at a local tattoo and piercing parlor. Her mother runs an occult shop in the heart of the French Quarter. Dani is very open minded and has a relaxed demeanor, although she takes a bit to warm up to people.
