On top of Mt. Silver you find a mystical appearing tent with a sign on its front reading "Ambrosial Alchemy". Upon entering you are greeted by a strange floating creature, shaped like a question mark. The creature rotates around your head once and begins to float towards the back of the tent, as if guiding you. You follow the bizarre Pokemon and as you do, you spot an equally strange presence, a robed woman standing over a table cluttered with various stones, books, scrolls, bottles, and many different tools. The robbed woman glancing up at you through her hood and shoots a quick smile at you.

Welcome traveler to my home and humble business, Ambrosial Alchemy. My name is Ambrosia, the proprietor of this store, if you will. I am elated to have a customer manifest themselves in my tent, please, have a seat won't you? Now, shall I appease your curiosity and explain the services I offer? Very well, kind patron.

Here I practice alchemy all day, you see, I come from a long line of Psychic Pokemon Channelers who use our abilities to perform alchemy, however, despite being the eldest child to my parents, I am the least skilled. So I set up shop here in your headquarters after your leader said my services would be useful here, so I thought what better way to get practice? I accept Snag Coins as payment, I need all the gold I can get. My goal is to one day craft a philosopher's stone and prove to my family that I have what it takes to carry on our name as a great alchemist.

Now that you know, won't you help me? Please, take a look at this book, within you'll find a list of all the items I'm capable of crafting, and the items required by you to craft it, along with the price in Snag Coins. However, I'm still a novice so there is a chance the crafting will end in failure and your Snag Coins/Emblems will be lost, but your items should be safe. However I will try my best.

[HOW TO CRAFT AN ITEM]
Once you find an item you want, and posses all the required items to craft it, simply post here the item you wish to craft. Also, you'll notice some items have less than 100% success rates. For these items, you'll have to use the Post Action for Random Number. Success rates are all in tens, so for example, if an item's success rate was 60% you would use the Random Number generator on the post submission page and set the (lowest) number to 1 and the (highest) number to 10. Once you submit your post you'll see the result of your Random Number generating above your post, and since we used 60% we would need either a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 to have been generated for the crafting to be successful. However, if the number we generated was 7, 8, 9, or 10, it failed and we lost the Snag Coins (and Snag Emblems if needed) spent.

If you wish to craft multiples of the same item, you may instead use the Post Action for Roll Dice and set it to use a 10-sided die. Up to 20 may be crafted at once, with the individual rolls of each die determining success and failure (the dice total is ignored). The numbers will stay the same as if the Random Number action was used, so the only difference is that multiples of the same item are being made instead of only one.

But don't worry. For any failed crafting, you receive an item called a Mystery Pebble. Once you collect three Mystery Pebbles from failed crafting, you can exchange those pebbles for a free Mystery Sack! Just post here when you want to make the exchange and an admin will PM you your Mystery Sack. If you have any questions, PM an admin. I've listed all possible success rates below and what number you would have to generated from between 1 and 10 in order to succeed.

Quote:
  • Success rate of 10% / Number needed to generate = 1
  • Success rate of 20% / Number needed to generate = 1, 2
  • Success rate of 30% / Number needed to generate = 1, 2, 3
  • Success rate of 40% / Number needed to generate = 1, 2, 3, 4
  • Success rate of 50% / Number needed to generate = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
  • Success rate of 60% / Number needed to generate = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
  • Success rate of 70% / Number needed to generate = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
  • Success rate of 80% / Number needed to generate = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
  • Success rate of 90% / Number needed to generate = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

[CRAFTING EXAMPLE]

I would like to craft a Rainbow Pokeblock please!

(Okay! It has a 70% success rate!)

Alright, look above my post, I generated a number from 1 to 10 and my number was 2, so my crafting was successful! If it had been any number above 7, it would have failed. Either way, success or failure, I lost all the items needed to craft it.

Would Crafting two Lure Balls be at all difficult?

For the Elemental Destiny Stone, do the Berry and Gem both have to be of the "element" desired or will any work for any "element"?

Both must be the element desired. So for a Fire Elemental Destiny Stone you need an Occa Berry and a Fire Gem.

A strange "schlorp" sound alerted Ambrosia to the items deposited behind her. With a Chilan Berry, Flying Gem and 10 Snag Coins within her circle, she decided to try making a Normal Elemental Destiny Stone.

Successful, she placed the stone on her worktable to decide what to do with it later. Turning to fond the box she stored such successes in, she found the stone gone when she turned back.
