"Life's a game; You just gotta know how to play."

While wandering off lifelessly to Suna, Sarus found himself in a strange desert. It felt different from the one that surrounded Suna. The air was still and lifeless. Sarus knelt down to feel the sand. It was cold, yet on this day, the sun shined brighter than any other. Sarus continued to walk through these mysterious sands and somehow, he felt as if he was home.

"Life's a game; You just gotta know how to play."

Sarus found himself lying on his back and staring up at the sky for a while. He watched scarce amount of clouds flow by. They were so little, yet so free. Sarus was little as well, but was he free? No. His life was trapped in this hell called "Life." When he grew up, he would not remember playing with his parents or having fun with his older brother. Just pain. Sarus sat up and watched little Jiro-san sleep silently. He couldn't help, but cry. He wanted to be free, but how could he escape this hell? The ones he cared about were trapped in as well. He couldn't save all of them. It was too much work for a nine year old boy. The only way he could be free is if he freed himself and himself only. The othrs would only be burdens towards him. And at that moment he knew, the only way for him to survive is if he lived for himself and no one else.

Satetsu Chiri no Jutsu [ Iron Dust Technique ]

[1/3]

Sarus stood to his feet and carried the sleeping Jiro farther into the desert. At this point, Sunagakure looked like a platform with blocks upon it. Sarus wanted to get stronger and never face failure again. Sarus remembers the battle he had with the anbu back in Iwagakure and wanted to remember the jutsu that he subconciously used. It was a unique jutsu and Sarus wanted to know how to master it.

[2/3]

Sarus placed his hands onto the cold sand and started to create iron sand. Using his mental power, Sarus levitated the iron sand into the air in front of him. He began putting large amounts of pressure on the iron sand.

[3/3]

Finally, thesand broke away into particles of dust and Sarus then reformed it into sand once again.

Satetsu no Yoroi [ Iron Skin ]

[1/3]

Sarus levitated the iron sand into the air in front of him. He compacted the sand together and wanted the test it out before performing the jutsu.
[2/3]

Sarus formed the compacted sand into a mini wall. Sarus slowly poked the wall with the hilt of one of his swords. Sarus had to push a little harder than he'd usually would to even indent the sand.
[3/3]

Sarus flowed the tightly compacted iron sand onto his skin. From head to toe. Sarus made his way to Suna, leaving a trail of iron sand and sleeping jiro san where he once was.

User Image After a good couple of hours from departing from the world cross-roads, and appeared from the trees to see vast sea of sand. Digging in his bag, Noel pulled out his map to see what part of the sands he appeared in. He tilted his head, attempting to gauge his current location before smiling,"I see... It seems like I'm a little outside the radius of the Sand Village. Seems like I might be at the Red Sands Desert." The child said softly as he dropped his duffel bag and took a sea. He wondered why the place was called the 'Red Sand Desert' as the sand's didn't look red to him but it might be something he'd have to ask a Sunagakure native. Stretching himself out and digging in his bag once more, he decided he'd do a little bit of training before completely heading to Suna. Might as well boost up his skill a bit more before heading to Suna and see if there are any open jobs for him to take.

User Image Pulling out his Doton book, seeing as he deprived himself of the knowledge of his powerful element, Noel decided to work a little bit more on the manipulation of mother earth. Cracking open the Doton book of knowledge, Noel started to read what may catch his area of interest the most. He spotted on technique that proved to help him in a defensive manner. Reading up on the technique, it would seem that the jutsu indeed shoots earth up to block projectiles by covering them up. There were so many uses for this, Noel knew this would be a good investment of his time. Reading over the hand-seals, Noel reached back into his duffel bag to look for his kunai to throw and work on the aiming aspect.

Once Noel got this simple technique under-wraps, he tossed the kunai lightly before clasping his hands together. Weaving fiercely through the hand-seals,"Geigeki No Doro!" Noel exclaimed as earth fired up from the ground but he frowned when the earth completely missed it's target.

1/2 Geigeki No Doro
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pulling out another kunai, Noel focused a little bit more so that he'd do better on the next attempt. Twirling it around in his fingers for a moment, Noel tossed it into the air but did it in a diagonal angle so that it would move slower. Immediately those swift hands clasped back together and were busy manipulating his chakra as Noel was prepared to expel it. Upon that final seal, aiming firmly at the projectile as it was starting it's descending arc he called out,"Geigeki No Doro!!!"This time, it was nothing but success. Two clods of dirt sprung from the ground and smacked into the kunai. Making it halt immediately where it once flew and fall like a stone to the ground."Indeed this will work perfectly." He said softly as Noel was already thinking of perfect uses for this technique.
User Image Finding strong interest in this Element, Noel thought it better if he dwelled himself a little bit deeper into the technique. This Doton element posed strong and powerful properties that he indeed would utilize to his best ability. Looking back at his Ninjutsu book, Noel once more flipped through the jutsu's that were interesting but... not interesting enough. " I want an offensive technique now." Noel thought to himself before his amber eyes lit up when he saw a particular jutsu that was just what he was looking for. "Rock spear huh? Let's try it out then." Noel said as he took his first few moments of looking at the diagram and see what he needed to do before even attempting to physically do the jutsu.
1/3 Gansetsukon (Rock Spear)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Placing down the book, Noel walked over to a nearby boulder that he found and decided to work on the jutsu. Seeing that Noel didn't have nearly the physical strength needed to perform the technique, he would indeed force chakra into the boulder at a more delicate and concentrated state in which he would then pull the spear out from the rock. This was his speculation and indeed it was a long shot, but with the understanding Noel had about chakra and nature, he was sure or even better confident, that he would be able to make what his thoughts had created. Placing his palm upon the rock, Noel began to focus his chakra in a delicate manner... but then... it hit him. It was a Doton jutsu! Why not he just make it easier for himself by making it from the earth itself!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While this new thought was hot on his mind, Noel squatted down and placed his hand upon the ground. Focusing his chakra into creating a large 6'0 foot rock pillar that is about the same width as his arm. Slowly pulling up his hand as he grasped his molded spear, Noel came up with a perfect spear for him to launch and engorge his opponent. Carrying his new found spear over to his book, the child was liking this little training session and indeed was definitely eager in learning one more jutsu before heading completely into Sunagakure.
User Image Noel closed the Doton jutsu book and placed it back into his duffel bag. His hand grazed over his Ninjutsu book as he pulled the book out to check out a little. He noticed there were a couple of dog-eared techniques that he book-marked from him to learn. Flipping through the selected jutsu's that he had, Noel found one jutsu in particular that seemed especially dangerous; especially with him his knowledge in Chakra control and Ninjutsu. So basically... I form a strong amount of chakra into my hand, though instead of utilizing it for an offensive manner, I should utilize it as a supplementary manner. Just gotta think of how to manipulate it. He thought to himself as Noel focused pushing chakra out of his hand to such an extent that he could withdraw chakra.
1/2 Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu (Chakra Absorption Technique)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Noel knew he wasn't going to be able to actually see if his jutsu was going to work, but the child wanted to still make sure he had the mechanics of it before utilizing it in battle. Possibly, by working out his chakra to act as a form of a 'vacuum' for chakra, then possibly I can assault my opponent in that way. Noel canceled out the technique and moved straight back to his duffel bag in which he dropped the book back into the bag. Zipping it up and placing all of items back into the satchel, Noel picked up his rock spear and continued on his path towards Suna. Thinking it was time to start his life as a vagrant.

User Image Upon coming back to his campsite, Noel was a little bit disappointed with the prevention of him going into the village. He was curious as to what occurred that would put Suna in such a distraught state but he knew it was better just to leave, especially since he still bore the Konoha emblem on his arm, and attempt to enter another time.

But Noel knew he wasn't out of the water just yet. He still had a lot to do, and was quite certain those ANBU would probably send a couple of scouts to look over him and keep him in check. Despite him truly not even supposed to be there, Noel didn't truly favor the idea of being watched. Tightening up his duffel bag, Noel would survey the area around him, assess the strength's and weaknesses of all of them, and then lay traps for any unwanted scouts. He had a good amount of materials that he purchased from the crossroads, and though he may be completely out of money after it, Noel will at least have a safe place to rest his head.

Silas walked to the red sands and looked around. The sand was more orange than it was red! But Silas wandered around a bit waiting for the rendezvous with his new training buddies.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 18, 2011 9:06 am
Silas had come prepared for intense training and had brought his family shadow scroll with him. Taking out the black scroll he opened the scroll up and reveled in it's glory. The technique that would give a lot of power to Silas would be Shadow Release - Shadow Needle Barrage (Kageton - Kage Senbon Rendan). Silas started by crouching and getting the hand seals down.
[1/7]

Silas then started to mold his chakra and get the right way to fire the needles at an opponent. Silas performed the hand seals and activated the jutsu. Watching the technique unfold Silas could only sigh and run his hand through his blonde hair. The jutsu made one of the farting back fire noises and Silas wasn't too impressed.

Silas started again this time trying his best to keep all of the chakra focused on creating needles into a barrage. Silas performed the hand seals and watched as his shadow shrink and then grow at least two to three feet more than it had been. Silas watched as three needles shot out of the shadow and Silas sighed only to try again.

Silas performed the hand seals again and started to focus on his chakra manipulation. This time a quick small quarrel of needles shot out of the shadow and struck into a cactus nine feet away. Silas smirked a bit and then started again on more chakra manipulation.

Shadows are the image from an object. But what if those objects aren't as solid as you seem to think they are? Silas performed the hand seals and watched as his technique was getting stronger, all the shadow manipulation training he had done payed off for this technique. All but a couple more practice runs and the technique would be perfect.
[5/7]

Silas was getting very sick of practice and practice with a little more practice. Si focused on the chakra in his technique and let out a loud ki-ai as he tensed his muscles. The technique shot a quarrel of needles made from shadow at a nearby cactus patch. Silas standing in the distance could see the needles sticking out from the cacti and watched as the water dripped slowly from them.
[6/7]

Sias was done the technique but just to make sure that everything was in order and that the technique wouldn't back fire on him again he performed the hand seals and crouched. Silas watched as the needles barraged the cactus patch and Silas only sighed so he could get on with his life. He waited for his pals to arrive and read over the black scroll a couple more times.
