I just started nursing school after 2 years off from high school.
I don't really know much at all about the medical field.
But looking at my syllabus, it looks like I have 5-6 tests a week and I only have 4 days of school a week.
I'm also really bad at taking tests so it's not looking too good for me.
Any advice on studying?
I tried note cards and writing things down over and over but it doesn't seem to do much help.

I find that music in the background helps me study, I can focus and what I'm reading or writing really sinks in. confused
Also, I would try studing with someone from you're class. You might each have different knowlage, so you could help eachother out.

Have you tried word associations? I have the same problem since I'm in a medical term class. Like if you learn just the prefix words like what hypo, hyper, and stuff like that means and then the suffix words like -itis and stuff it helps you sooo much if just words are what you're having problems with.
