i mostly just experience obe at night when i sleep. when i awoke i wouldn't be able to move,yet i was quite aware,eventually my body would jerk,and i would be able to move again. it used to freak me out until i learned what was happening to me. it doesn't happen anymore,i'm trying to learn how to do obe through meditation.

Excuse my anylytical mind what does OBE stand for what you said sounds a lot like a semi-concious state of R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement) stage sleeping where your mind can be semi or fully functioning and your body is completely or partially imobile. this state can be reached through some forms of mental excersise, some Buddhist medditative states, and an overload of red bull xd (first two ways are true to my knowledge)
