Paired Mission
The Pyre Cult
The Pyre Cult, a group of religious freaks made from the remains of Team Magma. These leftovers have taken the views of their former organization to extreme levels, going as far as basing a cultic religion around the idea that the Earth's land mass is a holy gift, and fire is divine instrument of justice from the fire god himself. Unlike their former team, there plans are not centered around Groudon, actually they only see Groudon as a messiah in Pokemon form. Sent down from the burning heavens to carry out god's will. Crazy isn't it? Fire and Ground types are also seen as earthbound angels, put on Earth to teach mankind the right way of life. Their actions though are anything put holy, they carry out evil deeds in the name of their "god" supposively. A twisted group.
Their recent "act of holyness" is in the form in a hostage situation. They have kidnapped Blaine of Cinnabar Island are currently holding his in Seafoam Island. They are trying to extract information from him and use him to create another clone of Mew. This time a fire based divine warrior so they may carry out the "Flame Cleansing" of the Earth. Whatever that might be. They need to be silenced before things get worse.
I want you to head to Seafoam Island and find where they are holding Blaine. Surely the place will be crawling with the cult members, which they -only- use Fire and Ground type Pokemon, very strict with that. Further more they have hybrid members of their cult, which they consider divine warriors labeled as "Pyre Troopers". They will be hybrids of Fire or Ground Pokemon, and surprisingly enough, they aren't pushovers. Rather powerful and skill hybrids so be careful. Just find Blaine and get him out of their safetly while putting a hole in their numbers if you know what I mean, good luck.
Objective:
---Go to Seafoam Island and rescue Blaine from the Pyre Cult.
Opposition:
---At least two Pyre Cult members with two second or third evo Fire or Ground Pokemon. You may fight more.
---The Pyre Troopers, you will surely encounter them.
---Any Wild Pokemon in the cave.
Pokemon:
---You may capture or snag one Pokemon availble at your rank.
Rewards:
---Varies

Cinnabar island, a place where I usually come for leisure. Miles and I always tend to go to "The Glow", have a leader's night out, talk about whatever the hell we wanted to talk about. Now Im here on a new objective...
I got a mission recently, stating about some group that decided to come up from the ashes of Team Magma...some group that basically made what was Team Magma into a cult with some unknown objective. Only thing I do know though that Blaine is now involved. Some examining of the gym showed that he didn't get much of a fight in...this doesn't bode well with me.
What makes this mission one of the more unique ones I take part in, I pair up with one of the other members of Snagem. Usually I probably would be out with the likes of Sol, or RC, Freth, or even Miles. Not this go round. I get probably one of the most destructive guys in Snagem...how the hell did I end up with Eddie was beyond me. Speaking of...where is that guy?

Eddie lands next to Blizz and hops off of his Skarmory. "Hey there." he says, returning the steely bird. "I may be a bit injured, but I can still kick a**!" he says, putting a thumb to his chest. "So, what should we do first?" he asks.

Shinryushadow Eddie lands next to Blizz and hops off of his Skarmory. "Hey there." he says, returning the steely bird. "I may be a bit injured, but I can still kick a**!" he says, putting a thumb to his chest. "So, what should we do first?" he asks. Well that answers my question. Still...this is...not exactly good. Eddie is still trying to heal, and yet we've got a good chance of getting in over our head. Still, I can't really get on to the guy for such a thing for wanting to fight in poor condition. I've been guilty of trying to sneak out while still on crutches occasionally...oh well. "Well..." I said, looking out towards the seas. "We need to head over to Seafoam Island and try to get Blaine out of there. Though...we may need to be a bit passive at first while trying to navigate the caverns. I looked around the gym and these guys really stormed the place. Blaine didn't have much of a chance...then when we get deep enough, we hit them hard, fast, and get Blaine out. Or at least that's what I hope anyways."

It was true that Eddie is injured, and shouldn't be fighting, but that's what he does in order to live. He hears Blizz and nods. "Okay, so, should we head over now?" he asks. "I mean, the more time we waste, the more things could go wrong." he says, keeping a hand on his Zweihander. "If we get caught though, what would be the plan?"

"I mean, the more time we waste, the more things could go wrong." he says, keeping a hand on his Zweihander. "If we get caught though, what would be the plan?" Cue one sweatdrop from me. "......I...haven't really thought about that. Other than winging it." I said. Oh yea, talk about confidence. Ugh, shame on me...Im usually better than that...though then again, if this place is crawling with these cult guys, we might not have much room to make up a back up plan anyhow. I sighed hard just at the thought of that. "Never mind...let's just go there now." I said. "Perhaps we can catch them off guard if we're lucky..."

Needless to say, he's just in this to beat some stuff up. "Water sounds good..." I said, walking towards the waters. "And I might have the right Pokemon for the job too..." I toss out the Pokeball. "Milotic!" I called out. The majestic sea serpent made its way out into the sea waters and looked back at me. "You got anything?" I asked.

Eddie grabs a pokeball and releases his Kabutops. "He'll do fine." he says, then hops onto Kabutops's back. "Okay, let's go!" he calls, to both Blizz and his Kabutops. Kabutops nods and dives into the water and rises to the surface, waiting for Blizz. "Oooh, I can't wait." he says, spazzing a bit on his pokemon.

Kabutops nods and dives into the water and rises to the surface, waiting for Blizz. "Oooh, I can't wait." he says, spazzing a bit on his pokemon. "Calm yourself, Eddie." I said, getting into the water. I made my way onto Milotic and then looked back at Eddie. "No need to get sword happy...yet." I said. Oh yea, I could already tell this was going to be a long mission. "Let's get going, Milotic." "Miloooo..." It replied starting to swim off towards Seafoam.

Eddie sighs and watches Blizz go off, then taps his Kabutops and it follows them. "Well, I need to get pumped so I can do well later. Don't need me lagging behind when we're fighting the special troops." he says.
Kabutops just keeps swimming behind the Milotic.

Don't need me lagging behind when we're fighting the special troops." he says. Kabutops just keeps swimming behind the Milotic. It would be a short swim for the water Pokemon... Quiet waters, wind seemingly non-existent. To think I always liked to come out here...why must these guys ruin such a nice place? "Alright...there are the main entrances, then there are the water tunnels to lead into the cavern. Problem is, those water tunnels got a nasty current running through them, but perhaps able to be navigated." I said. "If we manage to hold our breath long enough, we might be able to sneak inside. What do you think?" I asked.

Eddie watches the island draw closer and drifts off in his fantasy, but is interrupted by Blizz and blinks and shakes his head. "Uh, yeah, I think I can hold my breath long enough for that." he says. "Though, I'd be all for storming the main entrance." he says with a chuckle.

I can't tell if he was playing or absolutely serious about that. "Sometimes brute force isn't the answer, you know?" I said to him. "Anyways...lets get going..." I took a few deep breaths, then tapped Milotic then went under the water.

"Sometimes it is, though." Eddie answers, then him and his Kabutops dive under the water as well, after taking a deep breath. Just follow Blizz for now, that's the plan for not dying.
