I have been trying to program my calculator to do as many things as i can get it to do and I'm wondering if any one has formulas or program to solve things with.

Got the Quadratic Formula on it already? That one sure helps me a lot.

I programmed my TI-84 to have a 4 bit adder using logic gates, but that's not really very useful sweatdrop

I had a program that would calculate digits of pi, a quadratic formula solver, and a random program that would scroll a fixed pattern accross the screen. I had a TI-86 though. I'm not sure if that makes a difference. If you like to program I suggest learning a real programming language such as Python, C++, or Java. If you already know how to program, then major props to you. Programming is awesome.

I know that you can have some games on there...YES I WAS ACTUALLY LEARNING MATH! Just on the bus rides though.

I know that on their site (or a fan site), you can find some good stuff.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.I used to program games in calculus class on my TI-83+. I started with "guess the number" and worked up to a slot-machine simulator. I was working on Minesweeper, but something happened and I lost all my work.

Java is the best programming script, in my opinion, but depending on which kind of calculations you are solving, it can be tougher to figure out the "computer language," as they say. Try going on http://javascript.about.com/od/learnjavascript/Learn_to_Program_with_Javascript.htm
It will get you started with learning basic Javascript.
