Well, my sister got a tattoo of this symbol. The guy that did the tattoo said it was the symbol for evil in chinese. I can't find this symbol anywhere when I look up evil. If someone could please help me? I'd be very greatful.

For me, its the fire kanji... and it means "fire" XD No evil, babe :3

Hmm.... if you only look at the bottom, it's evil. But with the WHOLE word, then it means almost.... unhappiness. In Chinese, it is usually used in disaster. In Cantonese: fwo joi The word 'joi' is the word you are looking for.
(I asked my Mom, so I'm pretty sure about this, XD AND my spelling of the words are most likely wrong, but if you speak Cantonese too, then you could probably get it)
