I'm currently stuck on what to sell to make profits right now. I've been selling August 2007 letters but their activity seems to be coming to an end. So can anyone tell me what is a good item to buy/sell right now? I have 37k.

watch the market to see what's really selling right now. Tektek.org is really helpful with that too. Good luck!

Why not check the main page of the tektek item list where it says a few items which are currently rising in price?

Recent event items tend to be active, if I remember right.

As far as the August letters there go, people buy more and more throughout the month, which means more get sold, which means their selling price drops (supply and demand) I'd hang onto a few for a couple of months...even a year if you can...selling them then will bring a larger return, but you'll have to do some waiting...
I personally buy and sell inks...right now, gold and white...I've been able to sell white inks for 400 gold each and buy them anywhere from 250-350 gold each...until people consistantly sell them for 400 gold, you might not be able to sell them for more than that...
Also, don't set the sell time for 14 days...often times, people search for inks that will be ending soon...(because of the bid feature...I'll explain later if you'd like)...so you could be waiting two weeks to make a sell...instead, place it at most for an hour. That way, it gets more exposure on that front page. Each time an item is added, it starts at the tp of that page. So, the more exposure it gets, the more likely it is to be seen, which means the more likely it will to be bought...
Some people would be like, "why are you sharing this? wouldn't it mean more compitition for you?" well, maybe...but the more people who consistantly sell inks for a given price, the more it can be sold for, which means more profit...so in sharing this, I hope to help you out, and I hope it helps to keep prices from dropping in the market place...
Let me know if any of this helps...
