Even though our hearts are distant
And I can't feel what's in yours
Each time I hear my heart beat
All I do is feel the sores
Every touch and every word
Reminds me how much I wanted to be yours.
Even though in the end, words mean little things
I wait for this life in hope of what it brings
If it gave me you, I could only wonder whats next
The rejoice of my soul every time I read your text.
I could feel a connection, between you and me
If you had my eyes, maybe then you could see
How good together, we could have been
But that's not how things go, in the end.
A flame of love sparked in me from one week
Nothing more, you we're all the things that I seek.
When I saw you next to him, my emotions felt weak
If I opened my heart to you, would you take a peak?
I couldn't help myself, but to blindly give my heart to you
Each emotion in a cage, making noises like a zoo.
I couldn't ask for more
Leaving you, my insides tore.
You we're the one for me, I could have swore.
You implanted a seed in my heart, straight in the core.

Description:
To get the full emotional affect of this poem I recommend on Youtube to listen to "Kingdom Hearts - Dearly Beloved" before reading. I was listening to that while writing this poem.
This is about a girl I had deep emotional chemistry with, that I could only see over the time period of a week, this poem describes my emotions at the time, my jealousy, my emotions after we had to go our separate ways, and my longing for her. - Date: 12/02/2013
