• over the years the light fades away
    everything you know
    turns darker shades of grey
    what once brought you joy now brings only pain
    the smile on you little siblings face
    only makes you fear they'll go through the same
    the feeling of fading just wont go away
    like a dark looming cloud
    its here to stay

    theres nothing to do and no one to blame
    some people are just wired that way
    to walk through the world that gets darker by the day
    as the soul weakens and their happiness drains
    the heart grows cold and chips away
    so does the will to see the next day

    whats the point of going on this way
    struggling to raise and face the day
    no one can see what causes this pain
    i guess its just bad luck
    i'm wired that way.......
