• I can be creative

    and bold.

    I like to think

    outside of the box.

I don't like the idea of having to write in space like this and have my words just run into each other.

    I like rhythm

    and flow.

    I can be quiet

    and difficult to read.

    But that's all

    okay.

    What I lack in uniformity

I make up for in creativity.

    I am loud

    and friendly.

    I like a challenge

    and learning.

    I can adapt

    to almost any situation,

    or I at least try.

    I enjoy a debate

so long as it doesn't become an argument.

    I am stubborn

    and willful in my work.

    I like to laugh,

    but crying is okay, too.

    I love technology

    and nature just alike.

    I like rainbows

    and sunshine

    just as much as

    dancing in the rain.

    I love writing,

and I would like to tell a story.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl. Her name was Dallas. She was a quiet child and sat alone at lunch in school; she wasn't a people-person. She liked writing little things for class while the other kids were still learning to write their ABC's.

As she grew, she became more outgoing and loved writing even more than before, even when it came to passing notes in class. She felt some kind of power in writing.

    She started to write essays.

They were all the same: boring and rigid with the same old format every time. Even the content couldn't make them more interesting to her.

Then, the young girl discovered something so beautiful as

    poetry.
