In a time when I was naive, in a time where I could be fooled by pick up lines,
there was you and me.
In a time when you were coy and sly, in a time where you were quite fun,
there was you and me.
I loved you with all my heart.
I made one mistake.
It was believing in you.
You made me think I was special.
You made me think that we could work.
Back in the time there was you and me.
How could I have been so blind?
How could I have allowed you to take my heart?
Just to let you smash it and bring me to my doom.
