    I seldom smile
    I leave but a smirk here and there

    I mostly only chuckle

    I must appear like melancholy
    Straight-faced and somber

    But I can say with absolute assuredness
    That I am quite and plainly happy

    I don't need to smirk or even chuckle

    Just the feeling of my heart fluttering
    Lifting all that weight burdened onto me

    That sense that my soul is free
    That is how I know I'm happy
