Mom, do you remember back when we visited the lake so often?
'Yes" she said.
Or at least I thought I heard her say it...
Dad, do you remember the day you left me for another son?
"Yes" he said.
No, I didn't accept it at that time...
I placed my legs into the green lake under a starless midnight sky
Wondering if it was okay to do such a thing...well, I assume it is
But being here is no laughing matter, merely looking upon this lake is
sad and stupid really.
Brother, do you remember the day you said you never wished I was born?
"Yes" he said.
I didn't cry then, and I still haven't cried at all...
Sis, do you remember the day you left me alone on 13th street, hoping I would get kidnapped?
"Yes" she said.
I wonder if I was a bad child then...
God came down on this green lake and said to me:
"Why do you visit such a place you hate and despise so much...? Why not forsake it?"
And I said:
"Because I love the glow of green and above all else...this is my "home"..."
God left me then and he never came back....
