I Regret
Like a boy who read a book about things never will he see.
Like a traveler with a map about places that he will never be.
Like a prisoner who knows that he will never be free.
I Mourn
Like a soldier who knows his war will never end.
Like a patient who knows his wounds will never mend.
The same way a child does without a friend.
And yet I stand
Like a rebel in an oppressed land.
Like a defending warrior on a beachhead's sand.
Like a revolutionary, fighting pen in hand.

- It's nice to see rather unforced, natural-sounding rhymes... but for gods' sakes, unbold this thing.
