Emerging from the melancholy poetry of winter comes spring
.
The billowing white lace covers the trees formerly slick with ice
Deep green velvet underfoot, the memory of snow in the heaviness
.
And suddenly the earth is populated
Students scurrying on the makeshift picnic table, yearning for a crumb
What was coated in shadow, sheds the damp and enters the glory
