i brought wisdom to the world
like titans brought fire,
but even the greek pantheon,
cannot grant my one desire.
the world lives in shadows
driven by fear,
they cower and shiver
whenever something new comes near.
they cringe and bicker,
when new words are brought to thier ear,
and so i live,
an outcast of the world.
to carry the weight of those who the gods have sent.
to live out my own,
promethean punishment.
