• A rumble, a shake, a huge wave that came after.

    A nightmare came true.

As we observe through the screen of our monotone TV, we can't help but feel static and shock.

Screams, shouts and cries of those who are hapless, fear evident in their eyes.

As the ground that they once walked, shook and cracked.

We can't help but feel their pain...

The water that was once their friend, the one that soothes them...

Is now swallowing their most beloveds.

    Please... stop it.

The sanctuary that they once called home, where family members grew up together; swept by the dangerous water, gone.

A painful memory, a scar to ones soul.

    NO!

All is quiet, all is peaceful. After the storm has passed, all is left is just rubble, the wet earth, and the mass of people digging through.

Humans, no matter how cruel they are, deep inside there is a small part that is pure and true.

An outstretched hand and a few shouts to others later, a small miracle happens.

A young boy had luckily survived. Finally back to his family, he thanked those who had saved his life.

And today, the peoples of the world, is trying their hardest to help fellow friends in big crisis.

Death was unavoidable, as it is such a huge disaster. Families broken, lives taken. Tears flow down innocent children cheeks as their parent left them, too early for comfort.

But they will soon move on, no matter how much it hurts.

The world buzzes with frantic movements and SOS. People had lost their reasons to live.

The world is such a cruel place.

    Food supplies are running low.

Have you ever thought of how lucky you are to be sitting on a table leisurely eating dinner?

    Water kills them.

Have you ever thought of how lucky you are to even drink clean water?

Children cries could be heard all over the place.

Can you survive living alone in this cruel world?

By the end of the day, humanity wins all.

On the scene, a helicopter landed bringing in food supplies and warm clothes.

Human beings can't stand seeing others hurt.

In other places, a volunteer held a child in his arms, comforting them.

Hope is the only thing that humans can give.

A fellow neighbor took in an orphan that had just lost her parents.

Hope, the light that people needed to pull them out of the darkness.

The young child smiles, for the first time after the horrifying storm.
