lower than low,
fact over fiction,
reality upon fantasy,
second to last,
on your list.

I sit here everyday with,
wish upon wish,
open heart with open mind,
mind over matter,
second to last,
on your list.

I give you my,
heart full of love,
my mind full of knowledge,
my attention full galore,
to become second to last,
on your list.

I feel your,
sincere apology,
heart full of love,
your smile that shines down on me,
but lately I feel I have become second to last,
