On the wall the clock reads eight,
The window says the day is late.
Grampa's wearing his santa pants...
Thus marks the start of the Christmas dance!!
(*Some drums and wild bagpipes. And a flute.
Maybe an accordian. And clapping. Lots of clapping.*)
The relatives are here, whom we haven't seen in ages,
Apart from their smiles, frozen on the pages.
But we've been dancing every Christmas for years and years.
I find it more amusing once I've had a couple beers. *wink*
For this is a party for the older ones to love,
Not for the youngsters who can't go in a pub.
So come on down if you're 20 or above:
One year? Big whoop! Welcome to the club!
(*More bagpipes and Irish dancing*)

Description:
I happen to find this hilarious. But it might just be me. I had a lot of fun writing it, too. At least, until it decided to completely delete itself... So I had to rewrite it from my memory. Therefore, I apoligize, but not everything is syllable-for-syllable from the original. But I tried. =) Please comment with your opinion. Thanks!
P.S. I might add more later. It seems a little short. - Date: 12/07/2010
