• Today I noticed something that seemed naive
    Only three of your love poems belong to me
    And though each one touches my soul
    They are the only ones I had controlled

    So then I thought in my judgment in rem;
    what if I wrote more like them?
    I could be cuter, I could be clever
    I could write of your love forever

    Lend me your cherished sonnets
    I'll make them as a special as a personalized locket
    Show me your reasons; share with me your rhymes
    They'll ring as beautifully as heavenly chimes

    Maybe I'm crazy; maybe I'm just too determined
    Maybe my sanity is simply undetermined
    For I could write all the poems on earth
    But that could never change what you are worth
