The silence is intense
the shadow eyed puppy twitches at the sound of a dropped paperclip
this is a place where animals wait for their future of happiness
some might wait and one day fall asleep but never wake
still waiting for their chance at happiness...

So sad D: Another reason why we always drive the extra hour to the only no-kill animal shelter in the area if we need to give up an animal or take a stray somewhere xD
