She whispers the refractions of a transitory sun,
her voice chiseling the pink rays into diamonds,
tying the dappling light to the edge with rose-tainted twine.
A lullaby ripped apart and fed to prismatic sighs.
Trembles echo the sacred words tattooed in her irises,
raining their reflections on the tentative metallic gliding.
Waltzing across a crystalline sky, she slips
her shadow-woven lips into a reverential smile.
She awakes in facets to the cry of dawn,
her fervors touched by the elegy of a hope’s radiation.
Fulfilling a wish from the carved waves of fragmented light,
her blinks transmit the only record of oblivion to the heavens.
Scream in shattered rainbows the last number before infinity.

- A cool poem with lots of good imagery, though the whole time I felt like I was reading the thesaurus entries to common adjectives. Sometimes, less is more with extravagant language.
